Roberto wants the Housemates to gather for peace talks tomorrow to put a halt to bickering over crucial emotional issues like biscuits and crisps.

Several Housemates have done the rounds between Maxwell and Science, but each attempt at calm has only brought about more arguments.

Although Craig and Anthony are Maxwell's buddies, they approached Science to maybe bring the warring parties together. Science was unmoved, telling Craig, of Maxwell, "He's a p***k. I don't talk to p***ks."

Craig told Science he had been his strongest supporter in the House but had soon lost all patience with him, saying, "Let's not forget how this thing kicked off in the first place, a***hole."

Craig and Science rapidly descended into abusing each other. Meanwhile Maxwell was in the bedroom with his own sceptical audience.

Makosi defended Science vigorously: "If people want to play the dog-eat-dog game they shouldn't get p***ed off when the joke is on them, I hate it when they say Science is a thug. They do it themselves, that's what totally p***es me off."

Maxwell wanted to know if anyone thought he had been in the wrong. Surprisingly, Vanessa stuck her head over the parapet and said he was wrong for altering the shopping list to include his booze.

That prompted Saskia to let loose on Vanessa. "You nicked my crisps, Vanessa, and I ain't said ******* all to you. You are a greedy *******, a scavenger, a ponce. And no one says nothing to you. Why didn't you come to us, as a woman?"

Maxwell joined in and demanded to hear Vanessa's explanation of the crisp situation.

She guiltily admitted, "I ate the crisps, Lesley took them," and apologised, when pressed.

Roberto suggested a meeting to avoid these arguments and went to tell Craig and Science, who were less than enthusiastic.

We have every confidence in the meeting's success. Honest.
