Home and Away star Josh Quong Tart has revealed that he is leaving the show.

The Australian actor, who has played teacher Miles Copeland in the soap since November 2007, confirmed to TV Week magazine that he has quit his job for good and has reportedly already even filmed his final scenes.

The character of Miles was first introduced to Home and Away to coincide with Kate Ritchie's departure after 20 years in the role of foster child Sally Fletcher. It was soon revealed that Miles and Sally were twins who had been separated by their parents.

As well as being nominated for various awards for his role in Home and Away, Quong Tart has also starred as Will Monk in drama series headLand, Matt Horner in medical show All Saints and was a host on kids TV show Sarvo.

Home and Away viewers recently saw Miles pushed away by girlfriend Leah Patterson-Baker after she miscarried their unborn child.

Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah, said: "Leah gives Miles an ultimatum that's a total shock to him. She's blaming Miles. If she keeps pushing him away, it could lead to heartbreak for them both."

Just came on to say he would be dumped after watching tonights episode (uk) , when Miles was with her boy and she was home alone then the Rev comes to the door I was here we go. Miles is at the school with the boy and she's with the Rev. As I was watching and the boy did a runner from Miles and the Rev comes back with him and they sit down to eat. I said next she will have a miscarriage and she will somehow end up blaming Miles and get back with the Rev.

See that coming .. now with the above post .. its happening , you can read a lot the soaps like a book.

Leah hasnt got back with Elijah yet and I havent read any spoilers that say they will yet. Just Miles was angry cos Elijah had feeling for leah for ages
