I can't believe the writers have done this with Moria! Moira LOVES John I just don't "see" her as the type of woman that would cheat on her husband. Why would Moira get with Cain? Sure, Cain is good looking but she's such a decent well rounded character I think the writers jumped the plot with this one! I am shocked to believe the writers would DO something like this with Moira. I always liked Moria because she seemed like the ONLY sensible woman in the village along with Diane. I am shocked that the writers would try to change Moria just for a way to get ratings.

Do you not think it's very like the affair Cain had with Ollie's mum (Molly from Corrie) Her mum was a copper and she kept trying to arrest Cain but she ended up sleeping with him and so did her daughter.

Coming up in Emmerdale, trouble in the Barton family is about to take a surprising turn as Moira cheats on John with bad boy Cain.

The strain in the Bartons' marriage gets worse in the coming days when John (James Thornton) breaks down in the new Land Rover and demands a full refund from Cain, who's quick to tell him that he doesn't have the money because of his financial arrangement with Moira.

John is fuming with Moira (Natalie J Robb) for lying to him but she defends herself by saying that she feels like she can't talk to him anymore as he's so stubborn and angry.

Later, Moira heads off to confront Cain (Jeff Hordley) for spilling the beans, but as tensions rise between them, she finds herself kissing him. Although Moira tries to cut short their moment of passion, Cain pulls her back towards him and, unable to fight their desires for any longer, they sleep together.

Afterwards, Moira is wracked with guilt over what she's done - especially when an apologetic John later says that he wants to make it up to her. Will John find out about Moira's betrayal?

These scenes air on Thursday, October 27 at 8pm on ITV1.

Gennie decides to cut ties with Nikhil
Airs Monday, Oct 24 2011 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

There's a tense atmosphere in the factory office and Jai tells Nikhil to talk to Gennie. Nikhil says that he meant what he said last night and Gennie's disconcerted by her mixed emotions. He struggles to express his feelings but her resolve begins to weaken, until Nikhil insults her, saying she's not his usual type. Gennie leaves annoyed and Nikhil knows he's messed up again.

Later, in the shop, Nicky has a go at Nikhil over losing Gennie the job and she hands in her notice. Jai tells Nikhil that she was the best PA they had and he needs to sort this mess.

Meanwhile, Laurel visits Marlon and he's stunned to hear her admit that she thinks she loves him. She explains that she still loves Ashley and wishes she didn't feel the way she does about Marlon. Later, Laurel feels guilty when Ashley suggests that Sandy should move into a home if they're going to have another baby.

Elsewhere, Amy's awkward behaviour leaves Val and Pollard suspicious that something is amiss, while Hannah is determined to raise money for a college trip and gets an opportunity when Katie offers her two weeks at the stables.



Ashley mentions care homes to Sandy

Sandy's sad as he tries to remember the name of an old friend. Soon afterwards, Ashley suggests a care home and Sandy's angry, wondering who or what motivated the idea. Laurel's got mixed feelings when Ashley explains that Sandy doesn't want to leave, but she's guilty and unnerved when Sandy asks if it was her who tried to offload him. He wants further proof that there is nothing going on with Marlon, otherwise he'll be having a chat with Ashley.

Laurel and Marlon also have another meeting and they both admit that they're not sure what's going on between them. They kiss, but Laurel pulls away. The pair decide they can spend time together as friends, but Marlon's clearly disappointed that it's not more.

Meanwhile, Ruby and Ali unpack and officially move in. When Nicola arrives to read them the riot act with a list of regulations, she discovers Ali and Ruby are a couple. Later, Brenda's taken aback when she sees the pair kiss. In the pub, Ali and Ruby are introduced and Nicola announces Ruby as Ali's 'live-in love'.

Elsewhere, Katie pushes Gennie's attention towards Nicky, while Hannah starts her new job at Home Farm following encouragement from Moira.



Aaron loses patience with Sean
Airs Wednesday, Oct 26 2011 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

Cain's unimpressed when Sean loiters round the garage. Later, Aaron loses his patience when Sean pays a second visit, so he grabs him to get him out of the way. Sean stumbles and falls, cutting his head before leaving. Despite himself, Aaron is concerned. Ali's fuming as she arrives back and sees that Sean's cut, wanting to find out what happened. Ruby wonders when it will all end as Sean answers her back.

Later, Ali questions Aaron about the injury but calms when she realises that Sean's been hanging round the garage and apologises, heading home. Aaron can't help being sympathetic. Ruby insists that things will get better as Ali worries about Sean causing trouble and people blaming her for his behaviour.

Meanwhile, Moira visits Cain and hands him the cash, explaining that it's not all there due to Hannah's trip. She then lies that John knows about their arrangement when Cain threatens to tell him, and their chemistry's electric as Moira puts on her bravado. Later at the pub, Cain winds Moira up as she serves. Cain knows he's getting to her when she follows him into the gents and slaps him when he suggests she's bored and needs some excitement.

Elsewhere, the Bartons are amazed by John's reaction when he bites his tongue over Hannah's new job; Ali and Ruby agree to be tested when Pearl hands them a leaflet for the bone-marrow testing unit; while Laurel is in turmoil over the Sandy situation.

Moira gives into temptation with Cain
Airs Thursday, Oct 27 2011 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

There's a strained atmosphere between John and Moira, but she suggests they should do something together today. However, John ends up running late when his car breaks down and a dressed-up Moira becomes fed up as she waits for him. Cain arrives to sort the Land Rover and John demands a full refund, but he's left confused when the bad boy tells him he doesn't have the cash because of Moira's arrangement.

Back at the farm, John tries to fight his temper and Moira realises that Cain's told him. She explains that she lied because she can't talk to him anymore, as he's stubborn and angry. They continue to argue and Moira leaves, visiting Cain at the garage to have a go. The atmosphere is electric as she suddenly kisses him, before breaking away…

Meanwhile, things are still tense between Laurel and Sandy. When Ashley and Sandy agree to take the kids out together, Laurel decides not to come along - clearly forming a plan before texting Marlon. The pair end up playing X-Box together at Marlon's place. Laurel's smug about her high scores and both are very much enjoying each other's company.

Elsewhere, Nikhil gives Ali a job at the factory; the bone marrow unit arrives at the village hall; Adam's disappointed when Aaron declines his offer to hang out with him; while Lisa and Ali argue about Sean's influence over Belle.


Moira and Cain sleep together
Airs Thursday, Oct 27 2011 at 20:00 BST on ITV1

Cain pulls Moira back towards him, and she struggles as she fights her desires. She finally gives in and can't resist as he kisses her passionately. At the same time, John enters The Woolpack, where Holly tries to make him realise that he and Moira are both stubborn, but they love each other. He agrees to finish his pint then go and find her.

Back at the garage, Moira hastily gets dressed as Cain watches, unnerving her. Moira then heads back home guilt-ridden, with the enormity of what she's done finally hitting her. Later, she feels even worse when John says that her dinner's in the oven and he wants to forget tonight ever happened. As they eat dinner, Moira suggests they clear up before the kids are back, but John wants to make up and leads her to the bedroom.

Meanwhile, Sean tries to break into Sam's, and Belle is with him as he's stolen her phone and she wants it back. Lisa comes out and spots the pair just as Sean's about to smash a window. She leads them into the house, telling Sean she's calling his mum. When Ali arrives at the Dingles', Sean is locked in Lisa's van so they leave him to stew for a while, but Sean starts to trash the vehicle. Aaron offers to have a word with Sean, and Zak's proud when Aaron manages to get Sean to leave the van calmly.

Elsewhere, Debbie tells Andy that there's a chance a bone marrow match has been found but she doesn't want to get too hopeful, while Laurel continues to feel guilty about her behaviour and is aware of Sandy watching her.


Cain enjoys his hold over Moira
Airs Friday, Oct 28 2011 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

Wracked with guilt, Moira is uneasy around John. When Cain arrives in the Land Rover, Moira's wary of what he might say and offers to give him a lift back. While they're in the car together, Moira slaps Cain when he tries to kiss her, but then gives in to her desire. Cain realises that he's got her where he wants her, so he pulls away and gets out, leaving her in turmoil.

Later, at the pub, John gives Cain half the money for the Land Rover and tells him to stay away, before heading to the gents. Cain then takes the opportunity to wind Moira up about her marriage and she's tormented by his words.

Meanwhile, in the café, Alicia wants to celebrate the good news with Andy about the possible donor, but he covers as Debbie and Sarah enter. Alicia puts her foot in it when she tells Sarah about the donor, and soon Andy susses she's told her. Debbie's furious, telling him to keep Alicia away from Sarah. Later, Cameron can see that Debbie's wound up and tries to reassure her that Sarah's stronger than she thinks, but Debbie is distraught - fearing she's going to lose Sarah.

Elsewhere, Ali arrives for her first day at the factory, while Nikhil remains troubled over Gennie.
