Monday episode 5411 - 24/10/11

Charlie and Watson search Brax’s house – they find a jacket similar to the one worn by the getaway driver of the robbery and bring him in for questioning. Brax uses Hayley the barrister as his alibi, but when she denies it, Watson and Charlie argue over Brax’s guilt. Brax meets up with Benji and threatens him for information about the robbery. Brax catches Hayley as she is about to leave town and she informs him of the false statement she has made, which leaves Brax without a credible alibi. Brax tells Charlie that Jake set him up for the robbery, but Watson succeeds in having her removed from the case.

All the kids are having trouble with their HSC preparations. After speaking to Gina, Miles has a talk with Ruby to encourage her find her inner strength to get through the HSC. Miles then arranges for all the kids to perform Tai Chi on the beach to help them find their focus.

Leah is struggling to deal with her anger towards Miles and seeks advice from Elijah.

Tuesday episode 5412 - 25/10/11

Benji is brought in for questioning and states that Brax was driving the getaway car. When Charlie fails to convince Inspector Joyce of Brax’s innocence, she conspires with Brax to steal the evidence. The Inspector reduces her duties while investigations into the stolen evidence continue. Charlie meets up with Brax and is consumed with guilt over her part in the conspiracy. We are left to wonder whether she’ll crack and come clean.

April, keen to make amends, apologises to everyone over the prescription pad incident – everyone but Dex, which makes him angry. When she asks Xavier whether he knows what’s got Dex so upset, Xavier reveals it may have something to do with the sex talk he’s wanted to have with her. When April confronts Dex she quickly realises he’s actually upset over her lack of apology, and even more upset that she failed to realise it.

Stu is stressed about his HSC workload and the pressure his dad has put on him to go into a career he isn’t interested in. Stu draws a sketch for Sasha which she later gets tattooed on her midriff. It appears she’s got a dodgy job, and the tattoo may now be infected.

Wednesday episode 5413 - 26/10/11

Charlie convinces Bianca to come away for the night to a secluded cabin. When they reach the cabin, Bianca is suspicious of her motives and rings Brax to join them. When Brax turns up with Heath the couples pair off, Charlie admits she’s scared of her role in stealing the evidence, and Bianca succumbs to Heath’s charms. On the return home, Brax and Charlie crash into Liam on his motorbike.

It’s Irene’s first day back at work, but when she collapses from a dizzy spell in the diner, it’s painfully clear she isn’t ready to pick up her life.

Love continues to blossom between Sasha and Stu, but when Sasha shows him the tattoo of his drawing, he slaps her across the face. When Sid walks into their argument, he pulls Sasha aside and tries to be a supportive father by taking her to dinner. When Sid fails to make their plans at the Diner, Stu turns up and apologies to Sasha - but will she forgive him?

Thursday episode 5414 - 27/10/11

As Liam recovers in Hospital, with Bianca by his side, Charlie is concerned they’ve lied to the Police about the accident. The Inspector questions Heath and Bianca, and they sign sworn statements testifying they were in the car that Liam hit. News comes in that Sam has confessed to driving the getaway car during the robbery, putting Brax in the clear, but Charlie, consumed by guilt, tenders her resignation with the Police.

Indi and Romeo have difficult moments over his decision to walk away from Harvey and the boat business. Sid overhears their argument, which prompts him to have a word to Alf about his loyalty to Harvey over Romeo. Alf decides to delay the sale of the Blaxland while he re-considers Harvey’s offer. Indi realises Harvey is a creep and wants Sid to warn Roo, but when he does, he’s forced to admit he still loves her.

Irene has taken a step back in her recovery following her collapse at the Diner on first day back to work. To help cheer her up, Elijah, Roo, Alf, Marilyn, and Leah hold a pink ribbon fund-raiser for her.

Friday episode 5415 - 28/10/11

Roo is torn between her feelings for Sid and Harvey and seeks advice from Marilyn. When Roo questions whether Harvey is using her to get the Blaxland, she soon realises her friends were right about his duplicitous ways and cuts him loose. Later, Roo goes to the Farm House and informs Romeo that Alf has decided not to sell the Blaxland to Harvey. Roo then apologises to Sid for her reaction to his declaration, but Sid dismisses her, saying she should pretend he never said anything.

Leah’s anger towards Miles begins to affect VJ, who starts acting out. Miles tries to talk to him, but it’s becoming increasingly clear to VJ that Leah is really to blame for their relationship trouble. When she refuses to listen to him, VJ packs his bags and runs away.

The rest of the town is in full swing preparing for the fundraiser, however Irene is not handling the setback in her recovery and we fear she might not be well enough to show up. Marilyn goes around and offers her some supportive advice and eventually convinces her to talk a walk with her to the beach, where she discovers the surprise fundraiser. Irene’s spirits are lifted as the town gather around her in support of such a good cause.
