im not on my own then it looks like something could happen around the 20th oct cause gennie is thinking of leaving the factory and nickhil is sad about that so jai encourages nickhil to beg her to stay and there mum and dad are coming into it maybe they encourage him too here,s hoping
Who is Ali?
28.07.11 DS - Emmerdale bosses have announced that former Shameless star Kelli Hollis and ex-Bad Girls actress Alicya Eyo have joined the cast of the soap.
The pair have landed the roles of village newcomers Ali Spencer and Ruby Haswell, who are due to make their first appearance on screen in the autumn.
Ali is the sister of troublesome Rachel Breckle (Gemma Oaten), who made her debut last week when she arrived at the Dingles' home for a furious showdown with Sam.
Just as fiery as her outspoken sibling, Ali breaks up with her husband and leaves her flat on the Hotten estate, hoping for a new start in the village with her two children Sean and Amelia, played by 14-year-old Luke Roskell and 7-year-old Daisy Campbell.
However, Ali's life is far from uncomplicated as she has left her husband for Ruby, much to the horror of her tearaway son.

Did I miss something , did they build new houses in the village ? where is this mob supposed to be staying ? The sis working in the pub only just , chaved up to the nines god know what the sis is like , she and the 2 kids with her were bad enough.
Coming up in Emmerdale, Cain Dingle's temper reaches boiling point when Charity gets her relationship with Jai back on track.
Charity allows herself to be drawn back in by Cain (Jeff Hordley) in the coming days, but she snaps out of it when she hears about his callous treatment of troubled teen Amy Wyatt.
When Charity decides that her future lies with Jai, Cain is unable to hide his rage and confronts the businessman when they bump into each other at the pub. However, as Jai and Cain row, Zak steps in to stop them and ushers Cain away.
When Zak (Steve Halliwell) then warns his son to leave Charity and Jai alone, Cain lashes out and punches his father hard in the face as a shocked Lisa (Jane Cox) watches on. Is Cain losing it?
These scenes air on Monday, October 17 at 7pm on ITV1.

Charity and Jai are loved up now they are back together. Debbie attempts to talk to Cain about Charity, but he venomously declares that he hates her. In the pub, the Dingles are having a drink when a glowering Cain enters and immediately glares daggers at Jai. Zak and Lisa witness Cain having a go at Moira and realise Cain is about to do some damage. As Jai and Cain confront each other, Zak steps in to stop them, ushering Cain away. Jai leaves, while Zak and Lisa insist that Cain has a quiet word with them outside.
Zak warns Cain to leave Charity and Jai alone, which causes Cain to lash out, punching Zak hard in the face. Zak is furious but when Cain snidely remarks that Zak stood by and let a man rape Lisa, Lisa sees red and slaps an unrepentant Cain. Zak issues Cain with a serious ultimatum and it's clear that he means business.
Meanwhile, Nicola's short with Rachel as she arrives for her first day at work. Rachel has a cunning plan and asks for the keys to Brook Cottage. She then takes her sister Ali to show her the house, determined for her to rent it before Nicola does.
Elsewhere, Laurel's angry that Marlon is continuing to avoid her and tells him that his behaviour is making things more obvious; Nicola admits to Rodney that she's worried Jimmy doesn't want to commit as he's not keen about moving into the cottage; Diane catches Alex sneaking out of the pub after staying overnight; and Moira gives Cain the latest payment and is tempted to slap him for his smug smile.
Laurel and Marlon are caught out

It's the day of the christening, and Laurel hides her worry as she and Ashley get ready, but Sandy knows she's troubled. Later, Rhona's stressed and Laurel's concerned when Marlon doesn't show up. Marlon lies to Paddy that he's got a catering issue. He goes on to arrive at the last minute, unable to meet Laurel's eye. Sandy watches Laurel through the service, wondering what's wrong.
Later, back at the pub, Marlon admits the depth of his feelings to Laurel. Both are unaware that Sandy's seen everything and his worst fears have been confirmed…
Meanwhile, Zak decides not to go to the christening as he's got a belter of a black eye after Cain hit him. Lisa then lies to Debbie by informing her that Zak had a fall. Later, though, Debbie is shocked to discover that Cain gave Zak his black eye. When Lisa confesses it was over Charity, Debbie disowns her father as she's had enough.
Elsewhere, Carl pays a surprise visit to Debbie wanting money and brands the Dingles thieving scum; Nicola reminds Jimmy that they're meeting Declan later but is furious when she discovers that Ali is renting Brook and blames Jimmy for hesitating; while Belle's confused when Amy tells her that David's not the father of her baby.
Laurel panics as Sandy brands her a cheat

Sandy watches Laurel's reaction as Ashley suggests they might be having a christening of their own soon. Laurel then receives a text from Marlon wanting to meet and lies to Sandy that it's just from Nicola. However, Laurel is soon cornered when Sandy snaps that he knows she's going to meet Marlon and is having an affair. Laurel tries to deny it and they start arguing, unaware that a shocked Ashley has entered.
Laurel covers with an excuse, but Ashley's mystified and suggests that he should have a word with Sandy. Sandy's upset as Ashley tries to talk to him about the row with Laurel, but is unable to reveal the truth. Later, Marlon's blindsided when Laurel tells him about Sandy's accusation. They both worry what he will say to Ashley…
Meanwhile, Debbie returns from the hospital and explains that they haven't yet found a match, but she's determined to stay positive. Later, Debbie questions Cain about hitting Zak, warning him that he can leave if he's going to carry on like this. She also tells Cameron that she's spoken to the mobile testing unit and they're coming to the village, so they need to start rallying people to get tested.
Elsewhere, Amy panics when Val and Pollard want to discuss the adoption leaflets but she quickly covers when she realises they've got the wrong end of the stick; Katie's impressed when Gennie reveals that she's been head-hunted for a job; and Jimmy's curious when Carl suggests they're going to get payback from Cameron and makes a call.
Rachel's family crash into Emmerdale

Rachel and Ali show Sean and Amelia around Brook Cottage, but Sean is sulking about them moving. Rachel alerts Ali to the fact that she has missed out a crucial detail over who else is joining them in the cottage. Despite her fears, Ali tries to remain positive. Moments later, Ruby arrives, immediately putting her foot in it with Sean about moving in. Sean stalks out angry and with all the arguing going on, Amelia is not being watched.
As Carl drives back into the village, he sees Cameron deliberately blocking his way. Irritated at the stand-off between the two vehicles, Carl reverses his truck just as Amelia steps out into the road. Sam frantically grabs Amelia out of the way just in time, while a furious Ali punches Carl. Amelia is injured so Ruby gets everyone in the car as they are taking her to the hospital…
Meanwhile, there's a tense atmosphere between Laurel and Sandy, but it's all smiles when Ashley enters. Later, Laurel insists to Sandy he's got it all wrong. Marlon sends Laurel a text and is forced to keep things bright when she immediately enters the pub with Sandy and Ashley. As her phone beeps, Marlon cringes while Laurel covers by saying that it's work.
Elsewhere, Cain sees Belle stealing money from the shop for Amy, so he tells Belle to go home and shoves a scared Amy into his car, while Gennie thinks she's blown it with Nicky and is unconvinced when Katie suggests that he's playing it cool.
Amy tells Belle the truth about Cain

Amy's petrified as Cain drives her down a country lane. She screams to be let out, worried about what he will do next. Cain toys that he's going to kill her, but on her pleading, says he will give her one last chance if she keeps away from his family. Amy is terrified as Cain drives her back to the village. Once home, Amy is huddled in a corner shaking as Belle bangs on the door. Amy drags Belle inside, terrified that Cain might be watching.
Belle tries to tell Amy that Cain's not that bad, but Amy grabs her, shouting that it was Cain who got her pregnant. Amy snaps at Belle when she refuses to leave, finally admitting that Cain thinks she had an abortion and if Belle doesn't stay away from her, she'll kill herself and the baby…
Meanwhile, Rachel's family arrive back from the hospital and Carl and Cameron are left sheepish when Ali mouths off about their antics, suggesting the police will be interested in what's happened. The pair realise it will take more than an apology to make it up to her and they're forced to agree to pay her £400, as well as help move their belongings.
Elsewhere, Nikhil grumbles that Nicky is playing games with Gennie, while Marlon and Laurel are keen not to give anything away to Sandy.
Nikhil ruins Gennie's job chances

Gennie is nervous about her job interview today. When Nicky tells Nikhil that they're bound to snap her up, Nikhil wonders what he can do to save the situation. Soon afterwards, he's presented with an opportunity when the firm in question calls up asking him to give Gennie a reference.
Later, Gennie tells Nicky that the interview went well, but she's crushed and confused when she gets a call telling her that she didn't get the job. Nikhil's not proud of himself when he admits to Jai that he gave a bad reference. Nikhil eventually comes clean to Gennie, admitting that he wanted her to stay and couldn't bear the thought of losing her because he likes her. However, Gennie is furious.
Meanwhile, Amy encourages Belle to take the cash back to David. Belle waits for an opportunity to replace the money at the shop, but is thwarted when Hannah arrives. David's left feeling guilty when he asks Hannah if she's taken the money and she storms out, saying he doesn't trust her. Belle guiltily hands him the money, saying she needed it for a friend and begs him not to sack her. She's grateful when David tells her to come back for her paper round tomorrow.
Elsewhere, Alicia surprises everyone by allowing Alex and Victoria to move in; Cameron and Carl call a truce on their feud; while Marlon pretends that he pulled last night to ease Sandy's suspicions.
