Coronation Street's Eileen Grimshaw finds love in the unlikeliest of places next month as firefighter Paul rescues her from Underworld's roof.

The latest romance twist on the cobbles begins as Rosie catches Eileen on an online dating website and encourages her to make some changes to her profile, including taking ten years off her age!

Eileen later receives a message from a guy called Nigel and although she's worried about her white lies, she arranges a date to coincide with her 50th birthday.

However, things begin to go wrong for Eileen when she sees that her workmates have decided to mark her milestone by flying a 'Happy 50th Eileen' banner from the roof of the factory. Panicking that Nigel will see the banner and discover the truth, Eileen rushes up onto the roof to take it down.

To Eileen's dismay, though, Nigel does see the sign and storms off - and things get worse for her when she realises that she's stuck!

When a fire crew arrives, Eileen's mortified by her situation but she soon recognises firefighter Paul from the tram crash. The incident marks the beginning of a new love plot for Eileen as show bosses have confirmed that she will begin dating Paul.

Monday

It's the morning after the night before and Kevin's upbeat, giving notice on his flat then telling Bill and Sophie that he and Sally are back together. However, the pair haven't talked and Sally fumes at his assumption that they're back to what they were.

When Sally then bumps into Jeff who lays his cards on the table, admitting that he'd do anything to get back with her and would like to meet her in the Bistro later, Sally's torn. Considering the contrast between life with Kevin and life with Jeff, what will Sally decide?

Meanwhile, Tracy's struggling with morning sickness but insists on keeping her promise to Steve to look after the pub while he's in court. At the same time, Becky's gutted when she receives her divorce settlement from Steve, offering the bare minimum. When Becky then finds Tracy behind the bar, she seethes. But Steve's got more on his plate - his dad is sent down for a long stretch. As Tracy comforts him, will Steve let her in?

Elsewhere, Leanne warns Cheryl to keep Chris at arm's length when she realises that Cheryl could be falling for him again, while Carla thanks Maria for her unfailing support as Kirk moves out of Maria's flat to let Carla move in.

Apologising profusely for jumping the gun, Kevin begs Sally to reconsider but she's implacable. A gutted Kevin then takes Bill's advice and decides to try and woo her with flowers and a home-cooked meal.

At the same time, Jeff waits for Sally at the Bistro - it's a stark contrast to what Kevin has to offer. Who will win Sally's heart?

Meanwhile, when Becky tells Steve that she won't be signing the divorce papers until he re-evaluates the pittance he's offering her, he's too broken to fight. Stepping in, Tracy urges Becky to back off, explaining what Steve's had to deal with today. Thanking Tracy, will Steve finally open up to her?

Elsewhere, Maria attempts a reconciliation with Chris following encouragement from Cheryl, while Peter can't help checking up on Carla.

Thursday

Tracy insists on helping behind the bar, but as she struggles to deal with a demanding Becky, she suffers increasing levels of sickness. Weak and dehydrated, she finally collapses.

Taking Marcus's advice, an alarmed Steve rushes her to hospital for a scan. Later, Tracy's full of self-blame for not acting sooner. As the sonographer looks for a heartbeat, Tracy and Steve get some shocking news.

Meanwhile, as Sophie off-loads to Amber about her frustrations at home, she offers a night out. Amber takes Sophie to a lesbian bar, seemingly on Sophie's behalf. However, when Sophie spots Amber kissing a girl, she's staggered.

Elsewhere, Chris isn't happy about Lloyd and Cheryl having a good time without him and decides to steal Lloyd's thunder, while Rosie catches Eileen on a dating website and decides that her profile and photo need a makeover!

Friday

Tracy struggles to take in the news that she's having twins, wondering how she'll cope alone with three children. However, Steve is on a high - being a twin himself, he won't let anyone burst his bubble.

When Tracy admits that she's not sure she can go through with the pregnancy, Steve's stunned. Steve's adamant that they'll cope and he'll be there to help, but Tracy insists she can't do this alone. Is there anything Steve can say to talk her round?

Meanwhile, it's Eileen's 50th birthday but as the factory girls plan a surprise party, Eileen's got plans of her own. She's had an online reply from a guy called Nigel and while she's worried about Rosie's lies on her profile, she's arranged a date. However, when a good-looking Nigel pulls up on the street, how will he react to the 'Happy 50th Eileen' banner flying from the factory roof?

Elsewhere, Chris is elated to receive good news from the consultant as it looks like the tumour has decreased and his chances are good; Lloyd plans to win Cheryl over; and Amber tells Sophie that she likes to keep her options open when it comes to her sexuality.

Tracy's adamant that she won't be messed around by Steve anymore - if he's going to make a commitment, she needs to know he means it. This leaves Steve thoughtful. Back on the street, Becky's devastated to hear that Steve's having twins, but steeling herself, she tells him to embrace his opportunity.

Alone with Tracy, Steve insists that they can make this work for their kids' sake and it's sealed with a kiss. Tracy's on a high but can't resist gloating to Becky that she got her man. How will Becky react?

Meanwhile, a crowd's gathered as a frantic Eileen is still stuck on the roof, where she was trying to take down the birthday banner. When a fire crew arrives, she's mortified but firefighter Paul's great as he clears the area and cuts her free from the railings. Back on the ground, the pair share a joke but when Julie insists on taking Eileen to A&E, the moment's lost - or is it?

Elsewhere, Lloyd's romantic gesture is thwarted when Chris returns home and tells a lie, while Sophie agrees to keep Amber's secret but must decide whether to confide in Sian when she starts asking questions.
