Meanwhile, Hollyoaks couple Rhys Ashworth and Jacqui McQueen are thrown into fresh turmoil in the days ahead as Gilly Roach makes a shock return to the village.
Gilly's return comes just as things are looking rosier than ever for the couple. Rhys feels particularly proud of Jacqui as she becomes a surprise ally for Lynsey Nolan, who has no-one else to turn to amid her dangerous feud with serial killer Silas.
In a huge turning point for Jacqui, she sleeps with Rhys for the first time since her rape ordeal. However, her world is rocked when Gilly makes his comeback.
Jacqui initially tries to put on a brave face over Gilly's presence in the village, but when she meets with her counsellor and has a hysterical outburst, it's clear that she's not coping at all…
Gilly's return allows show bosses to resolve the rape storyline, which has been running since February.

Lynsey struggles in the aftermath of her dangerous encounter with Silas.
Meanwhile, Darren finds himself being pushed away by Nancy.
Elsewhere, Maddie pushes Gaz and Sinead together, while a frustrated Bart watches on.

Rhys is proud of Jacqui when she helps Lynsey, who has no-one else to turn to. It seems Rhys and Jacqui are back on track.
Meanwhile, keen to keep Bart and Sinead apart, Maddie encourages Sinead to take the next step with Gaz and makes sure Bart knows it.

Devastated to learn Sinead's slept with Gaz, Bart takes drastic steps and makes sure his high school sweetheart knows what she's getting herself into.

Meanwhile, on a high, Jacqui spends the day putting together a romantic lunch for Rhys, but her plans are foiled when he unknowingly neglects her.
Elsewhere, Tony struggles with his new job as he tries and fails to get in touch with Mandy, while Darren fears he can't match Nancy's career success.

Elsewhere, a hungover Tony is stunned as he hazily remembers that he quit his job last night, while Darren's chuffed as he realises Nancy is proud of him.

Gilly struggles to adjust to life back in the village, but Jacqui seems to be coping well with his return.
