Over on EastEnders, Tyler will continue to pursue Whitney in the coming days as he gets back on his feet following his recent health drama.

The Walford charmer tries his best flirtatious moves on Whitney in the hope of scoring a date with her, but he's left disappointed when nothing seems to work.

Whitney knows that she does like Tyler but she feels apprehensive about going on a date with him. However, in the end it's Fatboy who encourages her to have faith in herself.

When Whitney finally meets Tyler, they sit in an awkward silence - but she soon surprises him by leaning in for a kiss.

An EastEnders insider commented: "Tyler has been trying to impress Whitney all day but she doesn't appear to be falling for his charms.

"However, after Whitney talks to Fatboy, she plucks up the courage to approach Tyler and he is ecstatic when she leans in to kiss him."

These scenes air on Friday, September 30 at 8pm on BBC One.

Zainab returns home from hospital but Syed is frustrated when she refuses to open up about the incident with the pills and what really happened. Keen to get answers, Syed pays a visit to the surgery, wanting to know about the medication that Zainab's doctor has been prescribing. However, Yusef refuses to get involved and tells Syed that there isn't a medical explanation for what happened to Zainab - it's all down to the pressure she's been facing. Later, Syed asks his mother outright whether she hoped to kill herself by taking an overdose. Zainab is shocked but goes on to admit that she can't remember exactly what happened.

Later, Syed and Tamwar tell Masood what really happened last week and he's angry that they left him in the dark. At the same time, Zainab confides in Yusef over her current state of mind - vowing to change her priorities and concentrate on looking out for her family and friends from now on, including Syed and Masood. This is unwelcome news for Yusef and he fears that the situation is slipping beyond his control when Masood turns up and Zainab asks to be left alone with him. However, an emotional Masood has some news for Zainab - he believes that her 'suicide attempt' was a wake-up call and he's decided to divorce her…

Meanwhile, Ben skips school to spend more time with Duncan following their recent kiss. After they spot Phil on the Square, the pair hide away in The Vic's alleyway and soon end up in a romantic clinch. However, Ben panics when he realises that Patrick has seen them. Later, Ben speaks to Patrick, keen to make sure that he'll keep quiet about what he saw. Patrick assures him that he won't be getting involved as it's none of his business, but Ben gets the wrong end of the stick when he sees Patrick speaking to Phil later that day. Afterwards, Patrick is shocked when a brick is thrown through the B&B window and he sees that Ben is responsible.

Elsewhere, Tyler returns home but is angry when he discovers that Anthony betrayed him with his recent bet.

Tuesday

Phil has discovered that Ben skipped school yesterday and confronts his son. Soon afterwards, Ben has a new problem to deal with when Patrick orders him to pay £100 for the broken window at the B&B, or he'll tell Phil about the vandalism. A desperate Ben asks Heather for a loan, but his strange behaviour leads her to believe that he's being bullied again, so Heather informs Phil of her theory. Phil later catches Ben trying to steal from the cash box at The Arches and decides that Heather may be right.

Later, having failed to get the money for Patrick, Ben heads to the Minute Mart and locks the door in order to confront him. Ben starts stealing from the shop, but Patrick tries to reason with him, pointing out that Shirley and Heather will support him if he opens up. However, Ben starts destroying the shop which leads to Patrick losing his temper. The situation escalates when Phil arrives and is furious that Ben is locked in the shop with Patrick. When Phil orders Patrick to apologise to Ben and he refuses, Phil angrily threatens Patrick...

Meanwhile, Tamwar and Syed are shocked by the news that Masood has divorced Zainab. Chatting to his sons, Masood is adamant that he's doing the right thing for Zainab's wellbeing and promises that he's not abandoning the family. However, Tamwar can't believe that they asked Masood for help and he's made the situation worse. Tamwar encourages Masood to speak to Zainab before it's too late, but when Masood visits the house, he's shocked to find that Yusef is there. Spotting that Zainab is not wearing her wedding ring, Masood realises that he's definitely done the right thing.

Elsewhere, Alfie discovers that Mandy has been staying at the Beale house but he covers for her when Ian returns; Anthony and Tyler remain at odds in the aftermath of the boxing bet dispute; Phil plasters Mandy's lap-dancing photos all over The Vic; Eddie offers Michael a place to live at Number 23; while Vanessa comes up with a plan to get Anthony and Tyler talking again.

Thursday

Patrick is planning to carry on as normal following Phil's threats, but his troubles are only just beginning as the Walford hardman bans him from the café. Things get worse when Phil and Jay smash Denise's car headlights in further revenge. Later, when Patrick arrives to work at The Vic, Alfie tells him that he's being forced to lay him off under strict instruction from Phil. Denise is appalled and confronts Phil in front of the pub's punters, but Phil declares that Patrick intended to harm Ben. Although he doesn't reveal Ben's secret, Patrick stands up for himself by exposing the damage to the B&B window, the shop and Denise's car. As tensions rise, Denise publicly accuses Phil of racism.

Later, Ben visits the B&B and advises Patrick to pacify Phil by apologising before the situation escalates further. However, Patrick tells Ben that he won't compromise his dignity and pride for anyone. As the day continues, Heather announces that she's moving out of Phil's in support of Patrick. When Ben begs her not to, she refuses to reconsider and encourages the teen to have the courage to stand up to Phil. Ben's day goes from bad to worse when Duncan confronts him about the victimisation of Patrick. Ultimately, Duncan tells Ben that their kiss didn't mean anything and cuts ties with him.

Meanwhile, the Moons are all back on good terms and Eddie tells Michael that he wants everyone together this evening as he's going to tell Anthony and Tyler about Craig. Later, at the family meal, Eddie goes ahead with the plan and reveals that he has another son. Tyler is furious that Eddie has kept this a secret and accuses him of being ashamed of Craig. Vanessa - who is also at the meal - tries to calm Tyler down, while Anthony reveals that he is keen to meet Craig. As the dust settles, Michael has reached the end of his tether with Vanessa and her continued presence in the family. Michael warns her that she's exhausted her chances, but Vanessa stands up for herself and points out that Eddie has accepted her. Michael is seething as it seems that Vanessa still has the upper hand.

Elsewhere, Alfie invites Mandy on a night out with Kat and Kim so he can have some space; Ian receives a letter confirming that his marriage to Jane is over; while a man takes a shine to Kat on her night out and leans in for a kiss, but she reveals that she's married.

Friday
Michael tries to convince his father that Vanessa is a gold-digger, but Eddie refuses to listen. Resorting to desperate measures, Michael offers Vanessa money to leave Albert Square, but she declines it and tells him that she genuinely likes Eddie. Later, though, it seems that Vanessa may have had a change of heart as she calls Michael, asking him to meet her and bring the money. When Michael does meet up with Vanessa, he sees that she has her bags packed. As Vanessa accepts Michael's cash, will it be the end for her and Eddie?

Meanwhile, Phil visits the B&B and marches Patrick outside, furious that someone has painted "racist" on the doors of The Arches. However, Patrick denies being responsible. Later, Christian becomes concerned over Ben's strange mood and tries to reassure Ben that he has people he can confide in.

Elsewhere, Ian decides to show Mandy how inconsiderate she can be when she accidentally soaks an innocent Dot in her latest water fight. When Dot tells Mandy about Jane's personality, she becomes inspired and even studies a photo of Jane with a plan in mind. Later, Ian is shocked when he arrives home to an immaculate house, a perfectly-laid table and Mandy dressed like Jane! Mandy hopes to show Ian that he doesn't want her to be perfect like his ex-wife, as he'd still be married to her if he did.

Also today, Tyler continues to pursue Whitney and creates a grand gesture by rounding up the market workers to hold up signs which read: "Whitney your hot - go on a date with me? (sic)" However, the idea doesn't have the desired effect on Whitney, who walks away. Later, Whitney confides in Fatboy, admitting that she likes Tyler but just doesn't trust herself with men anymore. Fatboy encourages Whitney to have faith in herself, and when she meets up with Tyler later, the pair share a kiss. Michael soon throws a spanner in the works, though, when he reveals Whitney's 'hooker' days - leaving Tyler shocked. Will this change the way he feels about Whitney?

EastEnders' Masood Ahmed makes the heartbreaking decision to divorce wife Zainab in tonight's episode of the soap.

Masood (Nitin Ganatra) has been kept in the dark over the real reasons for Zainab's hospital dash last week, but when Tamwar and Syed finally tell him the truth, he's alarmed to hear that his estranged partner may have taken an overdose deliberately.

Zainab, meanwhile, is in a reflective mood following recent events, telling Yusef (Ace Bhatti) that she plans to concentrate on her family and repairing her relationship with Masood. However, Masood has other ideas, believing that Zainab now needs a fresh start without him.

Events come to a head when an emotional Masood visits the family home and repeats the word "talaq" - meaning "I divorce you" - three times in front of a shocked Zainab (Nina Wadia). As it's clear that Yusef's shock pill plan has worked perfectly, can the Masoods ever recover from this?
