Coronation Street's Michelle Connor will become embroiled in the soap's Frank Foster storyline later this year, a report has claimed.
The feisty character will be back on the cobbles in a few weeks' time as Kym Marsh has returned to filming in the role following maternity leave.
When Michelle goes back to work at the Underworld factory, she will stand up to Frank in a bid to save the business, which is facing financial ruin, according to the Daily Star.
As previously reported, Frank (Andrew Lancel) will try to get revenge against Carla (Alison King) after she reports him for rape later this month. After taking his half of their business away, Frank has been tipped to start stealing Carla's clients and staff members.
However, it is thought that Michelle will step in to help Carla and challenge Frank in "explosive" scenes.
Michelle will also begin planning a Christmas wedding with partner Ciaran McCarthy upon her return to Weatherfield.
