Brendan Brady's involvement in Hollyoaks' Silas storyline steps up a gear in next week's episodes as he lets Lynsey know that he's on her side.

When Lynsey returns to the village following her time away, she's encouraged as Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) concedes that she may be right about Silas (Jeff Rawle) after all. But Brendan will soon have drama of his own to deal with thanks to Rae (Alice Barlow)…

Meanwhile, it's the start of sixth form which means a new chapter for Bart, Sinead and Jason - and a gang of newbies to get to know.

Elsewhere, Texas is back in Dodger's arms - but Lee and Jamil don't seem too impressed…

It's the last day before Sixth Form College, so Bart throws a party to revel in one final night of freedom. However, things turn sour when Sinead catches Maddie flirting with Bart.
Hurting, Sinead throws herself at hot boy Toby, only to discover that he's Maddie's boyfriend - college is going to be hell tomorrow...
Meanwhile, returning to the village, Lynsey's emboldened as Brendan admits that he doesn't trust Silas either.
Elsewhere, a love-struck Jamil pines for Texas as she flirts with Dodger.

06/09

Sinead's first day of college is a baptism of fire as she's vilified for kissing Maddie's boyfriend.
However, Sinead fights her corner - insisting that she had no idea who Toby was, and she eventually patches things up with Maddie.
All is well until Sinead piques Maddie's interest by offloading about Bart and Jason's complicated past…
Meanwhile, Brendan heals Cheryl and Lynsey's friendship, but it's clear that Silas still has plans for Lynsey.
Elsewhere, Texas shamelessly uses Jamil to make Dodger jealous.

Jason and Bart are both left reeling when their complex history becomes college gossip, all thanks to Maddie.
Bart tears into Sinead for telling Maddie in the first place, and in retaliation, Sinead flirts with Gaz…
Meanwhile, Lynsey fears that Silas is plotting his next murderous move.
Elsewhere, Texas is furious when Jamil scuppers her chances with Dodger, while Brendan gives Declan some fatherly advice when he's hurt that the boy already knows how to shave.

Brendan warns Silas to keep away from Lynsey.
Meanwhile, despite yesterday's explosive row, Sinead and Bart find themselves drawn to each other, but Maddie has other ideas.
Elsewhere, Jamil finally snaps and gives Texas, Leanne and Lee a piece of his mind

Rae incurs Brendan's fury when she pushes him too far.
Meanwhile, it's a real wrench for Bart to see Gaz with Sinead.
Elsewhere, Jamil patches things up with his mates, but makes a big decision about his future.
Also today, Lee and Amy get planning their wedding, but their idea of the perfect day couldn't be more different.
