Science was given a ticking off for his social skills by Vanessa and Craig this evening, leaving the poor pup thinking he can't win whatever he does.
Craig criticised Science for not saying 'thank you' when he gave him food. Vanessa then told him he didn't say 'thank you' when she gave him crisps.
"I said it spiritually. I was saying it to your mind. I was sending you positive thoughts," he said.
Somehow she didn't pick up on it.
Vanessa told him it didn't matter because she didn't expect him to say anything, which seemed to hurt him more.
"First I'm the guy who says too much, then I'm the guy who says too little," Science complained. He felt he was criticised for things that others get away with. "When I do it it's a big crime," he said.
"You can be in between [talking too much and too little] and still have manners," Vanessa told him.
She thought they were getting on better lately though. "We haven't argued for about three days," she told him.
Seems Science has a lot to do to win over Vanessa. And some ps and qs wouldn't do any harm...
