Coronation Street and Emmerdale have schedule changes on the way for the week that Simon Cowell's new gameshow Red or Black airs on ITV1.

An extra Coronation Street episode will be airing on Sunday, September 4 at 8pm and the Weatherfield soap then moves out of its normal slots for the rest of the week - including airing some more post-watershed episodes.

With a Euro 2012 qualifier between England and Wales also in the mix, Emmerdale is affected too and won't be airing a Tuesday episode that week, but there's hour-long editions to make up for the disruption.

See full details of the changed schedule below:

Sunday, September 4
8.00pm - Coronation Street

Monday, September 5
7.00pm - Emmerdale (Hour-long episode)
9.00pm - Coronation Street

Monday

Hour-long episode

Andy is worried for Sarah and Spain is the last thing on his mind. However, the move is all Alicia can think about, especially now Jacob is looking forward to it. Andy's day gets worse when he sees Cameron having lunch with Sarah - he's angry as he'd been told he could treat Sarah to lunch. When Andy drags Cameron to one side, Cameron warns him that Sarah is looking scared by his reaction.

Later, the pressures of the day take their toll on Andy, and he tells Alicia that Spain is off. Alicia is gutted and humiliated when she has to ask for her job back in the pub, but there are no hours available. Alicia confides in a sympathetic David and he offers her a job working with him at the shop.

The next morning, Sarah has to return to the hospital for more tests. As they all head off, Andy reassures Sarah that he's no longer moving to Spain. It's a tense and nervous time as they all wait for Sarah to come round from the tests. As the pressure builds, Debbie and Andy begin to bicker, but Cameron warns them to stop as they all need to be there for her.

Charity and Cain make an effort when the others return, but a downbeat Debbie struggles and Charity fears the worst for Sarah…

Meanwhile, when Zak witnesses Aaron fly off the handle while fixing a car, he reckons he knows what to do to sort him out - he's going to fix up his old punch bag so Aaron can take out his anger on it. Later, Zak catches Aaron hitting the punch bag on his own and knows he's made an impression. Zak tells Aaron that he's not the only one going through a difficult time at the moment and he should look out for others, just like they have been looking after him.

Elsewhere, Victoria warns Amy that Cain is going to be furious when he finds out she's still pregnant. Victoria encourages Amy to tell Val the truth about the pregnancy, but the situation changes for Amy when Val tells her they love her. Amy makes the decision to have a termination as she can't afford to lose Val and Pollard now.

Also today, Charity tries to continue her charm offensive with Nikhil but her efforts to flatter him backfire, while Gennie tells Katie that she's over Nikhil.

Wednesday

Hour-long episode

Chas worries when she discovers Aaron left the house at dawn and is concerned when she discovers he's not at work. When Chas sees the punch bag, she's not impressed - worrying about what Aaron will turn into. Later, at Jackson's grave, Aaron is wrestling with his feelings while a concerned Ashley offers him words of comfort. Aaron wonders if Jackson would have felt differently a few months on, before he finds some relief from the emotional pain by scraping his knuckles along a gravestone.

Later, at work, Aaron hides his grazed knuckles from Cain and enjoys time with Zak on the punch bag as Chas watches. In the pub, Chas and Zak spot Aaron's knuckles, but he blames it on using the punch bag with no gloves. Putting his sore hand in disinfectant, Aaron holds it there to let the pain block everything else out…

Meanwhile, Amy has her clinic appointment but panics when Dr Abbott tells her that the scan shows she is over 24 weeks pregnant and it's too late for a termination. Pleading with her, Amy feels her world has crumbled. However, Dr Abbott urges her to speak to Pollard, Val, the midwife and social worker about various options. Returning from the clinic, Amy lies to Victoria about going through with the termination.

Elsewhere, Katie hints at a night out to Declan and he doesn't respond, leaving her feeling dejected. Chas soon warns Declan that Katie will get fed up if he doesn't pay her some attention. Later, Katie's intrigued when she finds a diamond necklace in his appointments book but is unimpressed by his materialistic generosity. She explains she wants him and his time - not gifts. Katie and Charity are also suspicious about what could be going on with Declan and Jai.

Also today, Debbie apologises for pushing Cameron away and they head off to Jersey as planned, while Laurel offers to help Marlon with the charity cook book but is later left feeling jealous when she spots Marlon with Rachel.

Thursday

It's the day of Charity and Jai's engagement party at Holdgate, but Jai warns her that if Declan turns up, the party will be off. When Declan declines his invitation, Charity and Katie are forced to figure out a way of getting him there - both are determined to fix the rift between him and Jai. Putting a plan into action, Katie thinks that if she implores Declan to stay when he drops her off, it will work.

However, when Jai sees Declan dropping Katie off, he's furious and comes over to the car. Declan explains that he wants to leave, but the pressure between them mounts as Jai hammers on the car window, shouting for Declan to go. The party continues, but Declan and Jai soon comes to blows when Declan gets out of the car and their row results in him punching Jai. Charity is furious, threatening to cancel the wedding unless Jai gives her an explanation. Will Jai tell the truth about their feud?

Meanwhile, Laurel agrees to look after Leo, but is shaken when Paddy and Rhona talk about Marlon's feelings for Rachel. Laurel is very conflicted over her feelings for Marlon, and so when Sandy raises the subject of her and Ashley trying for another child, Laurel isn't sure how to act.

Elsewhere, Amy is in turmoil as the enormity of her situation begins to sink in; Andy is delighted to keep his job when he tells John that he's not going to Spain; Moira worries about the bills but allows herself to be reassured by John; while Chas urges Cain to trust Aaron again and asks Paddy to speak to Aaron about college.

Friday

Laurel tries to hide her disappointment when she has to cancel her cooking session with Marlon as Ashley won't be back in time to collect the kids. At the pub, Marlon's unsettled when Rachel secures the cleaning job. Laurel's jealous when she manages to slip away from home to see Marlon and finds Rachel helping Marlon with the cooking for the book. Hurt to see them enjoying themselves, Laurel makes her feelings known.

Marlon gives Rachel an excuse to leave them alone and is devastated to see Laurel feels let down by him. Marlon tells Laurel that he can't bear to fall out with her - it's a poignant moment for the pair, which causes Laurel to leave hastily looking flustered.

Meanwhile, Nikhil can't believe that Jai has told Charity the truth about his feud with Declan. At the same time, Declan tells Katie about Jai and Ella's past fling, but neglects to reveal Jai being Mia's dad. Later in the pub, Katie talks to Charity, and Charity has to cover her tracks when she realises that Declan hasn't told Katie the whole truth. Declan soon shakes hands with Jai in front of everyone, but his expression is stony - it appears their rift is far from over.

Elsewhere, David is tense as today would have been his wedding day; Alicia feels let down by Andy again; everyone is keen for Aaron to return to college for his mechanics course; and Moira's unconvinced about the deal John makes with the supermarket.

I bet Amy keeps quiet about the pregnancy until she goes into labour, which should be around Christmas time.

mmerdale's Marlon Dingle and Laurel Thomas get flustered this evening as it becomes clearer than ever that they're starting to consider each other as more than just friends.

When Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) is forced to cancel a cooking session with Marlon because Ashley is having a crisis at work, she's disappointed to miss out on the chance to spend more time with the chef. Things get worse when Rachel Breckle (Gemma Oaten) steps in to take her place in the kitchen.

Later, Laurel manages to secure a free hour and heads straight to the pub hoping to help out, but she gets pangs of jealousy upon her arrival when she sees Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Rachel having a great time together.

Laurel tries to make a hasty exit but Marlon can see that she's not happy and says that he can't bear to upset her. As an awkward moment follows, have the pair finally realised that they're heading into dangerous territory?
