Lil Wayne was hospitalised in St Louis over the weekend after being injured in a skateboarding accident.
The '6 Foot 7 Foot' rapper, who was in St Louis for a concert, needed nine stitches to close a wound after taking a tumble at a skate park.
Lil Wayne was released from DePaul Health Centre only after doctors decided he was in a stable condition following the procedure, according to KTVI.
The musician joked about the incident on Twitter this morning, writing: "The Lou was good but I busted my fuggin head at the sk8park! 9stitches! Gnarly gash over my left eye! Luv the people."
Lil Wayne is currently scheduled to perform in Kansas City, MO tonight and in Phoenix, AZ on Wednesday.
Last week, Lil Wayne was reportedly attacked with pepper spray while hosting a party at a Montreal club.
