Monday episode 5371 - 29/08/11

Nervously awaiting the results of her biopsy Irene is strung out and emotional. Struggling in silence she takes out her frustration on others in the Bay. Later, at the hospital, Irene receives her diagnosis – it’s Cancer.

Following a chat with Bianca, Heath finds Liam at the Surf Club - riling him over the fact Bianca says they’ve broken up. When Liam confronts Bianca about this news Bianca demands space, so Liam gives her what she wants - they’re ‘done’.

In the wake of Heath’s bashing at the hands of Jake’s gang, the air is thick with revenge around the River Boys camp. But Brax warns them – do not make the first move. Meanwhile, Stu excitedly shows off his new ‘Blood and Sand’ tattoo, cementing his place with the River Boys. After being stalked by Hammer’s car, Casey confesses to Brax he’s scared of Jake’s crew. So, Brax arranges for himself and Heath to move in with Casey.

Meanwhile, Heath and Stu find Hammer’s car and trash it – a piece of news that infuriates Brax. In retaliation, Jake’s crew steal Heath’s mustang and burn it. The gang war has well and truly begun.

Tuesday episode 5372 - 30/08/11

April comes home from school to hear Irene sobbing in the bathroom. Worried, she snoops through Irene’s purse and discovers her Breast Cancer specialist’s business card. When April confronts Irene about the card, Irene confesses she has breast cancer – but pleads with April to keep it silent.

Brax asks Liam to come work at Angelo’s. When Bianca discovers this, she implores Liam to reconsider – certain he’s making a mistake as a recovering addict. But Liam tells Bianca to stay out of his life and decides to take the job at Angelo’s.

Heath finds his burnt out mustang and implores Brax to rally the Boys and hit back at Jake’s gang hard. Brax finally agrees – let’s take it to the beach tomorrow afternoon. Casey, worried for his safety, takes a flick knife to school only to have it discovered by Miles who in turn feels compelled to inform Charlie. Once Charlie speaks with Casey, she gets wind of the impending beach fight.

At the beach, Hammer arrives with Jake’s gang and it’s all about to kick off when Charlie arrives with Police to break it up. Later, Brax and Heath discover Stu outside their place –with his River Boy tattoo crudely removed.

Wednesday episode 5373 - 31/08/11

As Sid prepares to meet Sasha, his long lost daughter, Dex and Indi insist they come along. But before they get a chance to plead their case, Sid gets a call from the hospital – he’ll have to reschedule his meeting with Sasha. At the hospital, Sid is confronted by Sasha who’s less than impressed at being fobbed off. Later, when Sid takes Sasha home to meet Dex and Indi it’s clear there’s some work to be done to get Sasha on side.

In the wake of Stu’s attack – Brax and Heath plan their revenge against Jake’s crew. Later, at the Surf Club, Brax, Heath and the River Boys find Jake’s crew and a brawl ensues during which the Club is wrecked and John is caught in the fray. Charlie arrests Brax, as well as every last one of the gang members at the Club.

Irene is put in an uncomfortable position when Leah asks to cut down her shifts at the Diner in light of her pregnancy – which means Irene will need to step up her own hours despite her own secret health problems. In a desperate attempt to keep her Cancer secret, Irene decides to take off for a while, but not before Leah twigs to something very serious going on.

Thursday episode 5374 - 1/09/11

Following the brawl between the River Boys and Jake’s gang at the Surf Club, Gina contacts Xavier about John’s injury - secretly wanting Xavier to come home and return to his HSC. After speaking with Gina, Xavier quietly questions coming home but assures Kelly he wants to stay despite the growing tension with Kelly’s mum, Rhonda.

Whilst working on the farm Xavier cuts his hand and as Rhonda patches him up she asks him earnestly about his future. Xavier starts to think he might be missing home. Later, Xavier confesses to Kelly that he wants to go home and the pair say goodbye.

Now that she’s taken up residence at the Walker’s, Sasha is determined to get a job immediately. When she arrives at the Surf Club, Sasha runs into Romeo who helps put her in contact with Marilyn – for hairdressing work. A smitten Sasha flirts openly with Romeo but is mortified when he arrives at the Walker’s later in the evening – introduced as Indi’s husband. When Sid arrives home later that night, Sasha pretends to be asleep. But after he leaves, Sasha opens her eyes and begins to cry – clearly this is not how she pictured her reunion with her long lost father.

Friday episode 5375 - 2/09/11

Miles is worried when Casey doesn’t turn up to class and tells Gina about finding his flick knife. Gina flips her lid and heads directly to Casey’s place to tell him he’s expelled. Miles, shocked to learn of Casey’s expulsion, calls Gina out – this isn’t about Casey at all, it’s about Xavier throwing away his HSC. When Gina returns home she finds Xavier on her doorstep – he’s back for good. Motivated by Xavier’s second chance at his future, Gina offers Casey the opportunity to come back to school. But Casey tells her to shove the HSC.

When Sasha asks Sid to help her get a job with Marilyn, Sid explains that his ‘long lost daughter’ might be a sensitive subject for some people. Feeling like Sid’s dirty little secret Sasha escapes to the Church for solace, opening up to Elijah about her dead mother and the troubles at her new home. Meanwhile, Sid breaks the news to Marilyn who simply wants to offer her help. When, Elijah later introduces Sasha to Marilyn and Roo, Marilyn unsuccessfully tries to steer Sasha away from Roo for fear of Sid’s secret being revealed. When Roo offers to take Sasha to the Diner to help her find work the pair bond over father issues until they inadvertently bump into Sid.

Alf and Romeo have lost their appeal to retain their mooring. Apparently, in legal terms, it never officially existed. But when Romeo and Alf learn that Harvey is next in line to take over the mooring they decide to sink it, considering they can’t be pinned for destroying something that officially never existed. After the devious operation, the pair are elated but their celebrations are cut short when Harvey arrives to inform them that Roo’s article about Alf and the history of his mooring has just been published – they’re in big trouble.

Sorry for bringing up old topics yet :p But before I carry on through my spoiler catch up, I hope Irene doesn't die! She may be a little boring, but she's been there agessss!! I grew up with Irene!! :p
