In Coronation Street, hapless Tyrone Dobbs is about to find himself embroiled in Fiz Stape's prison dramas after he pays her a visit behind bars.

Catching up with Fiz, Tyrone can sense that all is not well with his troubled friend and demands to know what's going on. Fiz soon cracks, revealing that she's being threatened by her fellow inmates for exposing Ruth as the source of the jail's drugs problem.

As Fiz admits that she fears for Hope's safety as well as her own, Tyrone is appalled and makes a mental note when she points out Ruth and husband Leon in the visiting room.

Later, Tyrone follows Leon home before recruiting Tommy and Kirk to help put a plan into action. They all agree that they're going to follow Leon, take photo evidence of one of his drug deals and blackmail him with it to keep Fiz safe behind bars.

However, the plot starts to go horribly wrong when Leon catches the trio following him and attacks them with a baseball bat. Will they live to regret their attempts to defend Fiz?

Honestly it's like asking Laurel and Hardy to rob a bank. Expecting Kirky to be all mean and meanacing. Come on Corrie never send a boy to do a man's job.

Mon 29th

Having burnt her bridges at the Platts', Kylie heads to the salon to apologise to Audrey. However, Audrey is unmoved and orders her out. Desperate, Kylie heads over to Gail's, explaining that social services have called - they'll be visiting tomorrow to discuss her access to Max so she needs to be at home. Gail refuses to back down, though, claiming that Kylie should have thought of that before she blackmailed Audrey.

Stumped, a tearful Kylie is in the Bistro with Eva when she spots Nick's keys. With an idea forming, Kylie heads back to the Platts' and locks Gail out. Arriving home to the furore, how will David react?

Meanwhile, when Owen asks Anna if he can buy her a drink later, she readily accepts. But Faye's not happy and when no-one is looking, she snatches Owen's phone, using it to text Anna and cancel the date.

Elsewhere, Fiz is frustrated when her cell is vandalised and there's no support in sight, while Frank reveals that he's arranged an engagement party so Carla can meet his parents and they can shout their love from the rooftops.

As Gail tells David to sort his wife out, he's desperate to know what's going on. However, Kylie is still angry with him for forgetting her birthday and refuses to open up. Insisting he sent flowers and has the receipt, David begs Kylie to talk to him. Eventually she lets him in, apologising for doubting him, while David promises never to leave her again and vows that they'll ace the social worker visit.

However, when Gail, Nick and Audrey all barge back into Number 8, hostilities resume. Having had enough, Nick insists they sit down and discuss things like adults. But as they struggle to reach a truce, David drops a bombshell of his own!

Meanwhile, after another threat from Ruth, Fiz is on edge as Tyrone visits. Seeing Ruth and husband Leon staring over, she caves - revealing all to Tyrone about grassing Ruth up. Tyrone's appalled as Fiz admits that she now fears for Hope's safety. Later, Tyrone follows Leon home - what is he planning?

Elsewhere, Faye's manipulation is in danger of being revealed when Gary confronts Owen about his treatment of Anna, while Frank invites Leanne and Peter to the engagement party - and even suggests that Leanne should accompany Carla to her wedding dress fitting.

Thurs 1st

As the Platts ponder David's threat to leave home, the social worker arrives. Kylie responds well to questioning and it's clear to all how much she does want Max.

However, when David outlines their plan to move away, they're told that it could jeopardise their chances of Max coming to live with them. With David's threats to leave now a reality, will Gail back down and ask them to stay?

Meanwhile, Tyrone has come up with a plan and enlists Tommy and Kirk's help. They're going to follow Leon, take photo evidence of one of his drug deals, then bribe him with it to keep Fiz safe inside. But when Leon catches them following him and attacks them with a baseball bat, the plan suddenly changes!

Elsewhere, Leanne makes a breakthrough with Carla as they head off wedding dress shopping together, while Anna must decide whether to arrange a new date with Owen after clearing up their misunderstanding.

Fri 2nd

Tyrone, Tommy and Kirk have 'accidentally' kidnapped Leon and have a council of war about the situation. Panicking over what to do and turning on each other, they confide in Gary. However, he can't believe the mess they've got into and refuses to get involved.

Later, when Chesney returns from the prison in bits having seen the state Fiz is in, Gary reluctantly agrees to help. But as they head to the butchers', where Leon is hidden, they're horrified to see an estate agent outside…

Meanwhile, Max is wary as Kylie visits him on his birthday. She works hard to win his attention, but back on the street she's despondent, wondering if Max is better off where he is.

Elsewhere, Carla begins to have cold feet about the wedding as Frank takes her house-hunting; Steve's frantic as he still hasn't heard from Tracy and Amy's now due back in school; while Becky is offered a bar manager's job pending references.

As the estate agent shows his client around the butchers', Norris comes snooping too. Kirk's forced to accompany them as the others struggle to keep Leon quiet inside the fridge. But it goes from bad to worse when Gary's claustrophobia kicks in and Norris claims he can hear voices.

Having had enough, the client snaps and goes as Kirk bundles Norris out. Leaving Leon in the fridge, the lads flee but Kirk hasn't locked up properly and when a suspicious Norris decides to creep inside, it looks like he's about to get more than he bargained for!

Meanwhile, when Kylie asks if she can have the tools of her trade back to set up a mobile nail service, Audrey agrees. Printing posters, Kylie sets out to attract business, determined to prove the Platts wrong and provide a stable income for Max.

Elsewhere, Peter says his last goodbyes to a fretting Carla, while Becky's got her new job in the bag - providing Roy tells a few white lies as her referee.

It could be a laugh to watch or a big fail
