Meanwhile, Hollyoaks' serial killer storyline continues to hot up later this month as evil Silas Blissett steps up his campaign of terror against Lynsey.
As the twisted killer finds a way to spy on Lynsey from afar, it's clear that he's getting the upper hand in their metaphorical game of chess - especially with everyone refusing to believe the nurse's claims and accusations.
Continuing to sneak into Lynsey's house to drive her mad, Silas plays tricks by turning the gas on and even scrawls a message on her mirror in lipstick: "I hate you."
Keen to show that she's not rattled by Silas, Lynsey leaves her own message on the mirror - "I know it was you" - well aware that he'll see it when he next pays a visit. However, when Brendan spots her writing on the mirror, it only serves to solidify his suspicions that she's going mad.
Realising that nobody will ever listen to her about Silas and even questioning herself, a tormented Lynsey decides to take time out from the village. But as she leaves, shrewd Brendan can't help but wonder whether she was right about Silas after all…
