Coronation Street's Roy and Hayley Cropper are left in a panic later this month when Becky McDonald does a disappearing act with baby Hope.

Still emotional over losing Max, Becky continues to strike up a bond with Fiz's young daughter in the coming days. However, the feisty blonde is later dismayed to learn that Hope will soon be joining Fiz, who has landed a place in the prison's mother and baby unit.

On the day of Hope's big move, the Croppers make all of the necessary arrangements and begin packing her things. However, just as they're ready to leave, they're confused to discover that Becky and Hope are no longer in the flat.

With no sign of the pair downstairs at the café either, it's an alarming time for Roy and Hayley. Although Roy wants to call the police, Hayley feels guilty for not spotting the warning signs and insists that they should find Becky themselves.

Meanwhile, as we see Becky jumping on a bus with the baby, we're left to wonder what her intentions are. Becky's worried that prison will be an unsafe place for Hope, but will she really do the unthinkable and kidnap Fiz's daughter?

Mon 22nd

Fiz finds out that Ginny is back on the drugs and lays into Ruth. However, Ruth has had enough and reveals her true colours to Fiz, threatening her with violence if she grasses her up.

Later, the governor tells Fiz that she will find her a place in the mother and baby unit if she grasses up the dealer. What will Fiz do?

Meanwhile, Julie's convinced she's blown her chance with Brian again. But sick of her moping, Eileen calls him over and insists they sit down and thrash it out. Will love win through?

Elsewhere, Sylvia solves the mystery of Norris's disappearance by brazenly letting him out of the locked loo; Becky takes solace in Hope; and Kylie hooks up with Eva.

Ruth sees Fiz coming from the governor's office and fears the worst. When her room is then raided and a stash of drugs is found, the word is out that someone grassed Ruth up.

Fiz keeps quiet but when she's told a place has opened up in the mother and baby unit and it's hers, Ginny starts to put two and two together and Fiz finds herself on the receiving end of some prison 'justice'.

Meanwhile, Gail seethes as Kylie and Eva flirt with a couple of lads in the pub. Knowing it's winding Gail up, Kylie refuses to go home. As she waits up for Kylie, Gail suddenly decides it's time to teach Kylie a lesson.

Elsewhere, Norris milks his 'victim' status at the café as Sylvia serves him with bad grace; Audrey asks Marc to move in permanently; Becky's deflated to hear that Hope will soon be joining Fiz in prison; Julie and Brian finally get it on; while a lonely Eileen checks out an online dating site.

As Roy and Hayley finish packing Hope's things, they're confused to find that Becky and the baby are no longer in the flat. When they find they aren't in the café either, they start to worry.

Roy wants to call the police but, angry with herself for not seeing the signs, Hayley insists they look for Becky themselves. Will they get to her before it's too late?

Meanwhile, Kylie's spent the night at the pub with Eva. Turning up for work at the salon, she lays into Gail and Audrey, who presume she slept with one of the lads. Wounded as David's forgotten her birthday, Kylie bites back and Audrey sacks her on the spot. But as she drowns her sorrows in town with Eva, she spots Audrey with 'Marcia'. How will Kylie react?

Elsewhere, Tommy is dismayed when Doctor Carter calls into The Rovers with flowers and asks Tina out; Katy gets her exam results; Chesney worries about paying the bills; while Fiz feels threatened as Ginny tells her that she won't be safe in the mother and baby unit.

Fri 26th

Armed with the mobile phone footage of Marc dressed as a woman, Kylie heads back to the salon - suggesting Audrey might want to reconsider sacking her. As she reveals that she knows about Marcia, Audrey's appalled but refuses to give in to Kylie's blackmail.

Sensing Audrey's turmoil, Marc suggests that maybe it's time they tell everyone about Marcia. Audrey isn't ready, but assuming she's trying to protect him, Marc decides to take matters into his own hands…

Meanwhile, when Owen overhears Katy and Chesney rowing about money, he gives Katy enough to pay the bill. Katy accepts the gesture, leaving Chesney feeling emasculated. He's still stewing as they arrive at the hospital for Katy's 20-week scan and when Owen takes the shine off the moment by asking if the baby could have Izzy's condition, Katy pales. Back on the street, Chesney confronts Owen. How will he react?

Elsewhere, Tommy books an appointment with Doctor Carter to warn him off Tina, while Fiz feels vulnerable in prison as the inmates continue to threaten both her and Hope.

In the pub, all eyes are on Marcia and Audrey's horrified. She tries to bluff that he is going to a fancy dress party, but Marc is keen to come clean. Marc tries to explain his reasoning for going public, but Audrey won't listen. Outside shortly afterwards, a humiliated Audrey tears a strip off Marc, insisting that it was up to her to decide when the time was right to tell people.

Back at home, Marc's sorry for upsetting Audrey and expresses his love for her. But with the faces of her family and friends etched in her memory, Audrey starts to question everything. She loves Marc, but can she be with him?

Meanwhile, when Owen confides in Anna, she plays go-between with Chesney and Katy, urging them to see that Owen genuinely cares. Taking it on board, they hold out the olive branch. Touched, Owen thanks Anna but as they move closer, will they admit their feelings for each other?

Elsewhere, Tommy wonders if it's time to move on as Doctor Carter pulls out all the stops to woo an impressionable Tina, while Gail rails at Kylie when she discovers she's to blame for Audrey's upset.

She’s obviously never seen an episode of Bad Girls or Prisoner: Cell Block H. For if she had, Fiz would have heeded Becky’s warning not to grass up an inmate, even if her cellmate Ginny nearly died of an overdose.

“It’s a prison, darling, not the WI,” hard-faced, jailhouse drug dealer Ruth reminds Fiz. “You go mouthin’ off about me to anyone, an’ I’ll be ordering Ginny a double plot.”

Unlike the unfortunate Norris, who was locked in the café lav by Roy’s old trout of a mother Sylvia in a comedy episode, Fiz is in a more serious world of incarceration.

Driven by a combination of naivety, stupidity and desperation to be with her baby daughter Hope, Fiz actually believes the governor when she assures her, “I won’t let you down”, if she squeals up the drug dealer.

“It’s Ruth,” Fiz blurts out on Monday, without a thought for her own safety. “She’s dishing it out like sweets.”

When she’s suddenly given a place in the mother and baby unit, while Ruth and her child are booted out, the moron inmates put two and two together and gang up to give Fiz a bunch of fives.

There’s worse to come. With the Croppers due to take Hope into prison on Thursday, a sullen Becky briefly disappears with her.

“I can’t have kids, so I buy one,” Becks admits to Hayley. “When that doesn’t work out, I nick one. I want locking up.”

What a shame she isn’t. Because then Fiz would at least have someone to protect them – especially when another prisoner drops a pile of hardback books close to little Hope’s head.

“You can hold her as close as you like,” she tells Fiz, “but you can’t watch her 24/7.”

Belatedly fearing for their lives, Fiz asks for a transfer. “Somewhere where no one knows me,” she pleads. “A fresh start. Somewhere safe.”

No such luck, chuck…

Coronation Street's Marc Selby shocks everyone in tonight's double bill of the soap as he finally goes public with his cross-dressing secret.

When Kylie (Paula Lane) tries to get her job back by blackmailing Audrey (Sue Nicholls) with the footage she recorded of Marcia, the salon boss refuses to give into her demands but secretly panics.

Later, as Marc (Andrew Hall) hears what's going on, he wonders whether he should just tell everyone about Marcia before Kylie gets a chance to - but Audrey won't hear of it and insists that the street's tearaway is just bluffing.

However, Marc's mind is made up and after inviting Audrey, Gail and Sally out for a drink that evening, he walks into the pub dressed as Marcia - leaving everyone stunned. Will he live to regret his bold move?
