chance

It has been almost a week since Saskia was shown the video clip of Roberto, Derek and Craig bitching about her. Tonight, Roberto decided it was time to say sorry.
Roberto asked Saskia to join him in the loft so that they could clear the air. Roberto apologised and Saskia accepted, but a friendship between the two of them is still a long way off.
"I was waiting for the right moment," Roberto explained as he and Saskia entered the loft. "First things first, I am sorry if I offended you."
Saskia wasn't even given the chance to respond. Roberto embarked on a four-minute session of just talking at Saskia, without actually managing to say very much.
Considering he had a few days to plan his speech in his mind, Roberto only really succeeded in saying, "I'm sorry if I offended you," "I've been around a bit" and different variations of the two statements.
Saskia coolly reminded Roberto, "You called me an assassin." "That was not me." The Italian stuttered, clearly on the back foot. Covering his tracks he continued, "People are entitled to have their opinions..."
Assuming the other Housemates had taken a disliking to her because of her close friendship with Maxwell and Anthony, Saskia tried to justify her relationship with them. Roberto soon interrupted her, well he tried to interrupt but Saskia shot him down. "I'm talking, " she snapped.
Roberto concluded, "We don't have to make friends...as long as we do what we have to do."
Saskia wasn't giving him anything, "I'm not in here to make friends, I'm in here to do Big Brother."
They hugged and both said that the situation was 'cool', but both parties seemed to be forcing the niceties. Saskia left the loft and Roberto remained alone for a few moments to reflect on the discussion.
Good effort though Roberto, better late than never.
