Monday episode 5346 - 25/07/11

Charlie arrests Heath and Jake following the rival gang drug raid. Heath gets physical during his interview and is subsequently tasered by Watson. Heath suffers a seizure and is rushed to hospital. Brax makes a scene in defense of Heath and verbally attacks Charlie in front of her colleagues. Inspector Joyce praises Charlie for her big arrest, but tasks her with finding more evidence on Heath to put him away – by getting Liam Murphy to testify against him on drug charges. In a late night rendezvous, Brax reveals a startling secret to Charlie.

Casey acts out at Ruby in his frustration over Heath’s arrest, and Ruby is left to wonder how this will affect their relationship. Ruby is convinced Charlie is having a secret affair. After a suspicious phone call, Ruby follows Charlie and discovers who her secret lover really is! Ruby confronts Charlie about her secret relationship with Brax – but Charlie freaks and swears Ruby to secrecy.

Roo is concerned that Alf is avoiding her based on his disapproval of her relationship with Sid. Roo’s worried Alf has judged her without bothering to hear her side of the story.

Tuesday episode 5347 - 26/07/11

Charlie and Brax are worried about the ramifications of their relationship being uncovered. They decide to cool things off for a bit – lay low.

Charlie meets with Liam to convince him to testify against Heath on drug charges. Liam is caught off guard but agrees to think about it. Meanwhile, Mick and a few River Boys witness the encounter and make their presence known. Liam is upset with Bianca for telling Charlie about Heath being his former drug dealer – it’s put him in a delicate situation. Later, when Liam finds Mick threatening Bianca at home he decides to go ahead with testifying against Heath. But after Mick witnesses another meeting with Charlie, Liam is attacked.

Cheryl is on a rampage and is convinced Charlie is framing Heath just to rip her family apart; she’s had enough of the Buckton’s and tells Casey he needs to break up with Ruby. Ruby confides in Casey about Brax and Charlie’s secret affair and Casey approaches Brax to discuss what other secret’s he has been hiding. Did he really set up his own brother’s arrest? Ruby makes a pact with Casey to forget about everything that’s happened with Brax, Charlie, Heath and the boys – a pact to keep it all secret.

Wednesday episode 5348 - 27/07/11

A chasm is growing between Liam and Bianca. Liam is acting very withdrawn towards Bianca following his bashing by Mick, which he secretly blames her for. Bianca is still bitter about the drug taking and lies and she feels shut out from his recovery. Irene worries that if they don’t talk out their problems, their relationship will fall apart. Bianca eventually confronts Liam and they both agree to communicate, forgive and move past this.

Roo has invited Alf over for lunch with her and Sid, as an attempt to prove what a good couple they are. Alf reluctantly agrees under the condition he can bring Morag along. The lunch is a disaster so shortly thereafter Roo confronts Alf about what his problem is. To both their surprise we discover Alf’s disapproval is actually because he doesn’t trust Sid and he’s worried about his daughter getting hurt.

Xavier is concerned about Kelly and comes up with a surprise plan to cure her homesickness. He takes her to a paddock where a horse has been saddled for her to use for a few hours. Kelly is in her element and even convinces Xavier to hop on for a ride. Their chemistry is undeniable and eventually comes to a peak with them both giving in to their desires. After their fun is over, Kelly grapples with the fact they broke their promise to Gina to remain ‘just friends’ and if Xavier doesn’t confess then she will have to do it.

Thursday episode 5349 - 28/07/11

Roo is struggling with sudden transition from a fun and exciting new relationship to becoming a housewife and mother. Morag convinces Roo to do something to fix the situation, so Roo formulates a plan for the perfect romantic evening with Sid. However, shortly before their perfect date, Sid gets held up at work and has to reschedule. Roo is sick and tired of the turn their relationship has taken so she takes a drastic measure and packs her bags.

Xavier and Kelly are struggling to confess the news of their developing relationship to Gina – Kelly is getting impatient. Xavier’s only concern is that his mum will force Kelly to move out, but Kelly reassures him that’s OK with her as long as they’re honest. The couple finally confront Gina and after a deliberation we learn that Kelly doesn’t have to move out as clearly she’s a good influence on her son.

Romeo assists Roo with the planning of her romantic date with Sid, much to Indi’s disapproval. When the plans fall through, Romeo takes Indi on the date instead.

Friday episode 5350 - 29/07/11

Heath returns to the Bay after being released on bail – unsettling a number of townsfolk. Brax warns Heath to pull his head as he’s living on borrowed time. Casey tells Ruby that she can’t come round to his place anymore to avoid any unwanted attention from Heath - in fact, they need to cool it for a while.

Charlie learns that one of the River Boys has rolled on the gang – revealing Brax as the gang leader. When Brax is brought into the Police Station for an interview it is revealed that allegations have been made against him for drug manufacture and supply – but Brax remains tight-lipped. Later, when Charlie confronts Brax once and for all he fails to deny the drug allegations - so she tells him it’s over.

After talking to Alf, Roo goes to see Sid to set the record straight about where they stand. They are still in a relationship but she wants to be wooed. They eventually come to an understanding about their wants versus the reality of their situations and agree to a fresh start. Roo needs somewhere to live and Morag offers her room since she is moving back to the city. Hesitant at first, Roo eventually agrees after Alf points out that Marilyn was very supportive of making it work.
