It's a lot better here today. It's actually quite grey and dull outside.
been lovely here i even had to shut the windows coz it was quite chilly. went for a long walk this morning and afternoon without feeling like iwas gonna die! been great. by saturday we will probably all be moaning that the weath wasnt as nice as last week!!

its still boling here its so unfair, and yesterday we had some sort of power cut at school, but it wasnt a normal power cut as it started on monday afternoon just before lunch and its only affecting power at the school, anyway so the air con in the few rooms that have it werent working :(
Where abouts do you live? Its freezing today where i am, and utterly poured cats and dogs yesterday evening!
During the day we had loads of wind, which everyone was complaining about as well!
It's not been so bad recently. It's either been just right or dull.
It was killing me though when I couldn't breathe and it was boilling.

When I went to Scotland, it always rained and was very windy. You must get sun some of the time?
Very rarely had about three days that were really nice been quite dull since.
its really nice and sunny here!! ii should really get dressed aand get some washing out!!

lol Problem is so is everyone else at the mo - M5 jam packed, can't move on A30, so us Devonshire folk end up staying at home, whilst everyone else heads for the beaches!! lol
I went out this morning for an hour to do some shopping and it was freezing but it's picking up nicely now, just as long as we don't have another really roasting hot day. I couldn't cope with them, they were hell! :)

I woke up at about half past six and came on for a little bit then I knocked it off and went shopping lol.
I've got worse since I got my wireless lan sorted (with loads of help from GR :D ) I wake up, come on, have breakfast, come back on, have lunch, try not to come on!! Although I have done some housework in between, so its not quite so bad!!

When I vanish it's usually to cook or clean but no doubt when there's a baby in the house again I'm not going to be around as much even if I do have any spare time I'll still want to be with my baby, I adore babies and I'm so excited about having another!!!
Me too.......I just wish hubby would let me have loads!! But he won't unfortunately, says this is his lot and if I want any more, then I'll have to leave him lol
i love babies too but my 2nd is my last i am not allowed anymore

nope, not allowed!! he said 2 is enough, witch i can understand, but i loved being pregnant and having the little baby its not easy thinking i will never do that again!! but then i think about all the fun things i will do with my 2 it makes it better, i am very lucky to have 2 fab kids!!

This is my last though, I don't want anymore because most of the time it's just me here and with three kids it's going to be quite a task. I mean my two are growing up now but it's always hectic with a baby I don't like letting them out of my sight when they're tiny. Awwww *loves*
As much I joke about it, I couldn't either to be honest.....at the mo, we know that when this one is 18, I'll be 47 so will be able to go on hols on our own and enjoy ourselves together etc.
i did not mind labour with niamh makes me sound like a wierdo!!!
but i could not have anymore at the mo as i hated going to work and leaving niamh i had to go back when she was 10 weeks and it was horrid!!
I only went back part time for the first four months with both I mine. I think I went back to work part-time when they were about 12 weeks as well.
i am still only part time, but i stll hate leaving her, niall is ok as he goes to school
It's terrible we should all get paid weekly for being mothers and we shouldn't have to go to work. It should be £500 a week for us and a bit extra for those with disabled kids...
i totally agree!! i do enjoy going to work but i feel really bad at leaving little one, its a total catch 22

its just started to rain here the minute i walked out to get a sambo :angry: :angry: it was waiting for me
it was a blue sky and veryhot before but now its cluding over :(
its still sunny here, i have got 4 loads of washing dry already!!!
It now not only dull but its raining really heavy now
i've been into didsbury and to the park, it was very very hot. it was also very sunny!! but it seems to be wavering now!!
that might be on its way down to us then
And ive got ages to walk to the car because the council have put parking meters in everwhere over the weekend :angry:

they were what they refer to as showers, one about every 10 mins, but i would refer to as torrential rain.

If it is a peaceful place i would like it (wierd for a 13yr old to like a peaceful place lol)
both are. borth has a big tower on top of a hill and you can see for miles around. aberystwyth is nearby aswell

the beaches sre nice around there
The weathers been great around here, nice and sunny but not baking hot
It's not been so bad recently but the heat is starting to creep up to a very high temperature again slowly.

I do prefer winter, but I hate it when it snows, as it always turns to ice very quickly. As I live in a town that has loads of hills, it's not ideal.

Poor you, re: hayfever! I only suffer with it really badly, during June and early July, then I am ok.

Thanks (re hayfever) - can hardly breathe at mo, so really frustrated, so have come on to cheer up (and its working!!) I get it all season though, though till about September!!!
Hubby and eldest never stop eating, and youngest is heading that way so I spent £150 on food (2 jam packed full trollies though) and £50 on trainers, cd, dvd and PS2 game! I think I bought 185 items according to my receipt anyway!!

I spend about, £40-50 per week. So I suppose it would be just over £200 for a monthly shop, if I think about it!
I remember last year, I was pregnant with my second, and there was nothing I was allowed to take for my hayfever. I ended up getting a chest infection, and was eventually given antibiotics.
Yep - thats the problem I have, I have eye drops (though my eyes aren't too bad now) and nasal spray, but the spray doesn't really do anything to help, and I stay bunged up. Can't take antihistamines so just have to grin and bear it. I've suffered since I was 5 though so not much works anymore anyway!!
Its definitely scary spending it in one go, but works out cheaper. I used to spend £120 each week before!!!

In the summer its fair nice, not always that sunny though. Thats why i miss it so much, because i planend to spend the day down the local park sunbathing

it is warn down here today far too warm!! just getting used to the rain and cold agin and this happens!!
It is sweltering down here and I made the daft decision to mow the lawn!!! Too hot, done half of it, hubby can do the rest, though at least the washing is drying!! Have discovered we're due thunderstorms on Fri so we'll see how it pans out!

It's not been as bad as it was when it was torture all them weeks ago but it has been a bit muggy today though!
Hot here and supposed to be like it again tomorrow - ah well, got the washing done and now we've fitted restrictors to all of the upstairs windows, I can finally open them all and let some air in :cheer: Plus I have a hunk of a 24 year old coming over to do some plastering, so it could get hot in here!!!! Nice bit of eye candy!!! :rotfl:

I left the AC on my room on for 10 minutes switched it on.. put on my fan which is on this lil thing which is right in front of my bed.. this is what I always do on muggy days after having a quick shower before you go bed.. = peaceful sleep lol. Today its been ok but nights I do the same since I find a bit hard to sleep..

I am having trouble sleeping full stop at the moment I just can't seem to get comfortable. I'm always wary about my sleeping position when I'm pregnant as well!
what a horrid hot humid day. couldnt move an inch without feeling sticky and hot. god knows how much water ive drunk. fan is on me and ive got it on still so i get full blown air in my face! and noone else is having it. it is the only one in flat as other one just broke!! but tough it is mine!
dreading bed tonight going to try and kick dave out as he gets so hot and i dont think i can stand it!

miserable day here today. was woken up at 5am by really loud rain and then i had just said to dave flippin heck thats loud when the loudest clap of thunder i had ever heard happened!! no lightning as a warning or anything! connor screamed and rang into our room and hid under the duvet and we had lightning and rumbles of thunder for nesarly an hour! connor wouldnt come out from under our duvet! the rain was so bad and heavy that i had to get up and check it wasnt coming in all our rooms and flooding us!
went to my mums as her garden was flooded to help her clear it a bit and so that connor could splash in what he calls her BIG BIG PUDDLE. there were trees down, houses struck, flash floods!! not a nice day at all
did brighten a bit in the afternoon so we went to the beach and tok connor andmy nephew on a little train ride and then had a chinese( which was the best part of the day!!)
I've been very ill all day, drank too much orange juice so have spent a lot of time on the sh!tter!
I'm okay now though but the weather hasn't helped it's been really muggy again!

My conservatory is like an oven. All my pets are stroppy because they are so hot. I really feel sorry for animals with thick fur this time of year.

Hayfever.. oh god.. don't remind me!! Can't bear it and it's worse at school!! I like the heat but I always prefer thw cold winter :D

I had hayfever for the first time last night, and hope I don't get it again. Bumble bees and wasps are really annoying me as I am scared witless of them and my exema is so itchy :(

I just fancy jumping in the sea but it's 2 hours away:( I'm now fed up as my computer is getting hot. Having a barbecue later though:)
Well, where do I start:
My eldest is suffering with his hayfever really badly. And to make it worse, decided to sleep at his mates house last night, in a tent, in the back garden. Great fun till he went to open his eyes this morning when he woke up and couldn't! His eyes are bloodshot, lovely grim stuff pouring out of them and the whites are swollen. Antihistamines have been poured down his throat and his anti allergy eye drops put in, and so far to no avail so hes sitting on the sofa trying to see through a damp cloth!
Middley - his excema has gone mad - itching all over. Is having a nosebleed every 3 hours (which at 4 is scaring him slightly). His eyes are swollen and he isn't a happy bunny.
Have you tried keeping two children out of the back garden and away from the pollen?! No chance.
Me - eyes are swollen and itchy, throat is sore, roof of mouth is itching like mad (though the beer I just had helped immensely :D ) nose is blocked, and nothing (nasal spray, eye drops, antihistamines) are working, but then I've had it for 25 years, so don't expect it to change any time soon.
Babs - he's itching and has had excema patches appear on his legs and in his creases.
And I refuse to have my windows closed. Our house is 29 deg at the moment, with the windows open, so I dread to think what it would be with them closed. We have fans going, and there is even a breeze outside, but all thats doing is blowing the darn pollen indoors.....
I wanted to go outside and sun bathe, but you have no chance when hubby has to go back to work and the nosey next door neighbour is peering (or is that leering) over the back fence "trying" to make conversation with me.
I love the heat, love it out side, but love being able to see too, and if I go out in the sun, I end up with my eyes closed over....:angry:
Ahhh, don't you just love the summer!! :rotfl:

hehe i feel sorry for you guys with hayfever sounds like you're sufferiing badly, im actually looking forward to school tomorow im blaming it on this weather puts me in a better mood :D

awwww ewwww what can i say lol thats horrible i wouldnt like to be in his position! hehe ems you're familys having a rough summer isnt it!

The only lucky one is my hubby who doesnt suffer. At least this year I can take meds though as last year, because I was pregnant, I couldn't take anything at all!
Our family are considering taking out shares in Kleenex we use so many :rotfl:

i have to say i loved it at the start of the week but now i am sticky all the time. i'm not suffering with anything (luckily!) but the heat isn't fresh and i can feel it

I loved the heat at first, but itsdoing my head in now.My hayfevers kicked in, my eyes are constantly bloodshot andwatering and I keep sneezing which is quite funny lol. I'm really sticky all the time though, and its so annoying, especially at school.
i am not knocking the nice weather but it is a bit hot!! i have been stuck in the house all day as it is far to hot to let niamh out, as she is blonde and fair skinned she would burn in a flash!!! i just look forward to getting to work as we have great air con!!!!!!

I don't mind the heat to an extent, today hasn't been that hot here, and got quite cloudy towards the end of the day, and now it's just so muggy/close/stuffy, which is what I hate, the stuffyness.

I was in Majorca last week and it was boiling, i got a nice tan and everything, and i thought that when i got back here it would be a tad cooler, but no! i hate it!
I quite like it when I don't get affected by it and I am not at school having to wear trousers as appose to a skirt or dress. It's been 25 degrees since Friday, apart from today when it was 27.
I didn't have a plaster on at school today and had to wear my jumper all the time I was at school (luckily only a half day) because the girl that shut my finger in the door is in almost all of my lessons and I didn't want her to see it, so I had to cover it up with the jumper. Not a great combination when it's 27 degrees :( Was boiling by 12.
