Jack Branning is determined to punish Michael Moon in a fortnight's time after discovering that he has targeted Ronnie with some sinister behaviour.

Following more heart-to-hearts, Michael starts to believe that Ronnie is the only person who understands him and soon leaves the troubled blonde stunned by making a pass at her.

When Ronnie rejects Michael, he's keen to make sure that she doesn't get away with it and pulls out all the stops to get his revenge, telling lies about her to Kat and Alfie and even trying to make them believe that she wants to snatch Tommy again.

After hearing about Michael's twisted games, Jack finally snaps and goes looking for his own revenge. At the boxing club, he challenges Michael to get in the ring and the punches start flying…

A Walford source commented: "Jack is filled with rage after finding out what Michael has done. He can't believe Michael made a pass at Ronnie and goes looking for him. He sees the boxing ring as the perfect setting for his revenge. Will he deliver the killer blow?

Michael's unusual behaviour continues as he arrives at Jack's flat with shopping bags, telling Ronnie that he just wants to help out. Later, Ronnie tells Jack that she understands why he wanted to see Tommy and appreciates that he is hurting. Jack promises his wife that he'll make sure she doesn't go to prison, but Ronnie doesn't seem confident as she later gives a list to Roxy detailing things she wants done while she's in jail. As the day continues, Ronnie sees Michael at the gym and admits that she feels like he's the only person who understands her. Seeing an opportunity, Michael tries to kiss Ronnie but she's horrified and rushes off. When Michael catches up with her, Ronnie reminds him that she's with Jack and vows to kill him if he ever comes near her again.

That night, Jay is determined to impress Abi and the pair break into The Vic. Jay starts pouring drinks, but Abi knocks some empties over which smash loudly, so they run off before they're caught. Outside, Michael sees the pair and shouts after them, but they carry on running. Michael then heads into the pub, where Eddie, Alfie and Kat have been disturbed by the commotion. Coming up with the perfect way to get his revenge, Michael claims that he knows the intruder wasn't after the till money - as he just saw Ronnie running across the Square…

Meanwhile, Billy meets Henry in the park and tells him that he needs his help to find his son. Henry seems reluctant to help until Billy brings up what he did to Julie and her friends. Finally, Henry promises to be of assistance but declares that he wants to visit the local pub for some food and company.

Shortly after the pair arrive at The Vic, Henry goes off to the toilet as Julie walks in. Billy panics and ushers her out as he hasn't told her anything about wanting to trace their son. He then decides to get Henry to leave, offering him £10 for a taxi home.

Ronnie is baffled when the police arrive at Jack's flat wanting to talk to her about the break-in at The Vic. However, all becomes clear to Ronnie when Michael slyly reveals to her that he's responsible for setting her up. Over at The Vic, Kat watches through the window as the police leave the flat and feels frustrated that nothing seems to have been done. Alfie claims that it doesn't matter as Ronnie will soon be behind bars anyway, but Kat says that she now feels like a prisoner in her own home. When Alfie tells her that she's overreacting, Kat lets rip and declares that her husband is not a real man. The pair make up later, but Alfie continues to encourage Kat to stop worrying about Tommy being taken again.

Later, Ronnie confronts Michael at the gym and orders him to tell the truth about how he's trying to get his revenge after she turned him down. Getting tough with Michael, Ronnie declares that he'll have to tell Roxy the truth about how he made a pass at her, otherwise she will. Michael soon shows his vulnerable side and promises that he will tell Roxy the truth. The pair head off to approach Jack, Roxy, Alfie and Tommy, but Michael has an ace up his sleeve - leaning into the pram and pulling Danielle's locket out of Tommy's hands.

Although Jack claims there must be a logical explanation for why the locket is there, Ronnie faces a backlash as Alfie angrily declares that she belongs in a straightjacket and storms off, while Jack rushes after him. Knowing that Michael has set her up for a second time, Ronnie tries to make Roxy believe that she hasn't done anything wrong - but Roxy doesn't believe her. Roxy rushes off back to her flat with Michael and leaves Ronnie outside banging on the door, fearing that she's lost everything…

Meanwhile, Lydia's son Norman arrives on Albert Square for her funeral and knocks on Pat's door. Pat is shocked as she realises that Norman is an old acquaintance. Inside, Janine isn't happy to see Norman as he didn't seem interested in Lydia when she was alive. As her grief bubbles to the surface, Janine breaks down in tears.

Hour-long episode

Michael's scheming continues as he uses Roxy's phone to send a text message to Ronnie, asking her to come to the park. When Ronnie turns up at the park, she finds Tommy alone in his pram crying, so she picks him up. Michael has also been in touch with Kat and Alfie to alert them to the situation, and the Moons are horrified when they arrive at the park to see Ronnie with the baby. They plead with her to give Tommy back and she does so, begging them to believe that she's been set up. However, Kat slaps Ronnie and makes it clear that she'll be thrilled when she rots in jail.

Later, Ronnie tries to warn Roxy about what Michael is up to, but Roxy won't listen. When Ronnie tries to show her the text that Michael sent, Roxy pushes her phone away and it falls to the floor. Roxy leaves Ronnie devastated as she tells her that she never wants to see her again. However, when Roxy picks up the phone and sees the text, she storms over to The Vic and forces Michael to confess to what he's done. When Michael admits that he's been scheming, Roxy dumps him and spills the beans to Jack, who furiously punches Michael. Kat is shocked to realise that Ronnie was telling the truth and soon learns that Jay and Abi were responsible for the break-in at The Vic. Following the revelations, Kat is left to wonder what to write in her victim impact statement.

As Ronnie arrives at court, Jack catches up with her and begs her to run away to Mexico with him. However, Ronnie refuses - insisting that she needs to be punished for her behaviour and that Jack needs to let her go. Ronnie then awaits her sentencing - will she go to prison?

Meanwhile, Lauren steals Ryan's keys at The Vic and the barman later walks into his room to find her lying on his bed. Ryan makes it clear that he's not interested and pushes her out of the door. When she catches up with Max outside on the Square, Lauren spots a key that he drops on the pavement.
As the day continues, Max has another meeting with Tanya in a flat and gives her a key to the property, explaining that he wants more than just a fling. Tanya says that she's not interested in anything more than an affair, but takes the key anyway so they can carry on seeing each other in secret.

At the salon later, Lauren notices that Tanya has a key which is identical to the one that Max dropped earlier. Realising that her parents have been having an affair, Lauren confronts Tanya, who begs her not to tell anyone and insists that it's over. Later, when Lauren sees Max, she slaps him and warns him that she will run him over and kill him if he goes near Tanya again.

It's a bad morning for Janine as she bickers with Julie and faces criticism from Pat for taking money from Ricky. After borrowing £10 from her brother, Janine is shocked as Pat snatches it away from her at the café, telling her that she's spent enough of Ricky's cash. As they continue the argument down Bridge Street, Pat questions why Janine is still in Walford when nobody likes her or wants her around. Later, at the chip shop, Janine asks Ian for another advance but he refuses, so she tries to get her revenge by grabbing the cold oil that she has cleaned off the fryers and attempting to pour it over him. However, Kat warns him in time and the bucket ends up all over Janine instead.

Later, Ian confronts Janine and informs her that she's fired. Soon afterwards, Jon Martin catches up with Janine, who panics as she believes he's a debt collector. However, Jon explains that he's there to tell her that she's the sole beneficiary of Lydia's estate. Janine then goes on to mock everyone who has crossed her today, shouting that she's a millionaire.

Meanwhile, Billy meets Henry to find out whether he's uncovered any information about his son, but it soon becomes apparent that Henry is just using him for a free lunch. As an angry Billy goes to attack him, Henry shouts out that Pearce is the surname of the family who adopted his son. Watching the heated scene, Phil asks Billy what's going on. Later, Phil pays a visit to Billy and blurts out in front of Julie that his son is called Dan Pearce.

Elsewhere, Tanya assures Lauren that her affair with Max is over but the cheating pair later end up back in each other's arms; and Fatboy grows concerned as he realises that he no longer needs to 'pretend' to be in love with Mercy.
