go into the mouse seetings and run a test to see if the installation program has been corrupted, reinstal the program if this is the case. If it is an analogue mouse remove the ball and clean the rollers

Look pn the base. There usually is a little cap which twists off to release the ball or else it may be held in place with a little screw

I've got a cordless one, they're really good except when they run out of battery because they take about 8 hours to charge.

I got a corded one but dad has got a codeless mouse and keyboard... seems to be working fine, though he got it like with the charger so when he's not using it he just slots it in the the charger so it never runs out!! Really good but my mouse won't have time to charge with how long Im on here!!

The cordless keyboard never seems to lose charge, but a while back our mouse went though a months stage of eating any battery you put into it - It normally lasts about a fortnight, it was lasting a few days.

my mouse seems to last forever, even with up to 5 hours a day use. it still lasts about a week although it was expensive i'd recommend this one
