Over on Coronation Street, Roy and Hayley learn that Becky has been partying hard at a hotel and manage to convince her to return home to Weatherfield - but the hellraiser's wild behaviour looks to be far from over.

Becky moves in with the Croppers but can't resist heading over to The Rovers, where she meets new landlady Stella Price for the first time. The pair have a frosty introduction and it's clear that Becky isn't pleased about Stella moving in with her family.

Tipsy after downing more booze, Becky causes more trouble when she takes a liking to Stella's boyfriend Karl and starts flirting with him before pinching his backside.

When Stella spots what's going on, she makes it clear that she's not best pleased and rebukes Becky in no uncertain terms. Becky gives as good as she gets, but could it be that she's met her match in Stella?

20th 7-30

As Steve ponders how he's lost Becky, she wakes at the Croppers, determined to put Steve behind her and move on. In the café, Becky flirts with a friendly Karl but when she comes on to him heavily in the pub after a run-in with Stella, things turn messy…

Meanwhile, when Sylvia finds a prescription for Hayley's hormone pills, she starts asking questions. Hayley wonders if it's time to tell Sylvia the truth about her sex change, but will someone else get in there first?

Elsewhere, Marcus is proving a natural with Dylan and when he becomes sick, Marcus takes it in his stride. But how will Sean react when he discovers Marcus has dealt with Dylan alone?

Also today, relations thaw between Carla and Peter, which doesn't go unnoticed by Leanne, while Frank sets up a meeting with a major buyer.

8-30 pm

A defensive Becky insists that she's moved on and has been seeing new blokes. She's just trying to hurt Steve, but it has the desired effect and he orders her out.

Becky hits the bottle once more, but as she sobers up with the Croppers she opens up, admitting that she needs to try to save her marriage. But as Becky sets off to talk to Steve, he arrives at the café having made a decision himself. Can the McDonalds' marriage be saved?

Meanwhile, a ruffled Sylvia can't look Hayley in the eye, but Roy's not having any of it and tells her that if she can't be civil, she can move out. How will Sylvia react?

Elsewhere, an angry Sean tells Marcus that he should have told him Dylan was ill rather than dealing with it himself, while it's clear that the cracks in Leanne and Peter's marriage are still not totally healed as they bicker over Carla and Nick.

23rd

Becky's shocked by Steve's news and all of her optimism is evaporated. At the pub, Steve reveals that he's going to visit Andy, who's in the country for a few days.

As Steve goes, Tracy's quick to gloat and points out that Becky's lost her husband, her home and her job. Suddenly, a penny drops for Becky and she questions why she should lose everything after what Steve did. Marching into The Rovers, Becky makes an announcement which floors Stella…

Meanwhile, as Frank shows his potential new client around the factory, Carla's distracted by a phone call. The meeting goes well, but when it comes to talking numbers, she plays hardball. Snapping, Carla dismisses the offer out of hand. As the client leaves, Frank's furious. Will an emotional Carla open up to Frank?

Elsewhere, Dennis reveals that he used to live at Number 1 and that Grimshaw was Elsie's maiden name. He marvels at the coincidence of Eileen now living there. Jumping on it, Julie's enthralled by the fact that they could all be distant relatives.

Also today, Stella steps in when a row breaks out between Eva and Leanne, while Izzy's put out by Gary's over-protectiveness.

24th

Carla's exhausted after attending her mum's funeral alone and seeks comfort through alcohol. However, suddenly scared of losing control again, she calls Peter for help. He's not happy but, sensing her suffering, he feels compelled to help.

As Carla opens up, Peter's moved and goes to comfort her. But how will Leanne react when she walks into the Bistro and finds them together?

Meanwhile, when Becky misses the drayman's delivery and forgets to visit the wholesalers, Stella shakes her head in exasperation as the customers grumble. Will Becky back down and hand the reins back to Stella?

Elsewhere, when Will texts Izzy about a gig in Liverpool, Gary deletes the message before she sees it, while James urges Sophie and Sian to make a big push with fundraising over the next few weeks.

As Peter and Carla try to explain, Leanne insists that they can't go down this route again and tells Carla to find someone else to help her. As she drags Peter out of the Bistro, he goes for the sake of his marriage but his worries for Carla remain.

Left alone again, Carla hits the bottle. Peter later sees her in a state but knowing there's nothing he can do, he urges Frank to step in while she's vulnerable. As Frank insists on taking her home, will he use the opportunity to take advantage?

Meanwhile, as Becky lets her hair down with the youngsters in the pub, she drives the oldies out. But when the music goes on into the night, Ken's had enough and threatens to call the police. Will Becky pipe down?

Elsewhere, Stella is in the bookies when a youth with a baseball bat threatens Leanne, demanding that she empty the till. Fearless Stella wrestles him to the ground, before blasting Peter for leaving Leanne alone in the shop.

Also, Gary hides Izzy's phone and fails to tell her that Will called at the house to sort her ticket for the gig, while Sophie convinces Nick to host a charity auction at the Bistro.
