I have been in negotiations with Jessie Wallace's agent for some time now trying to arrange a chat for us all which GR would sort out. However she's so busy at the moment what with returning to EE and stuff. I'm still trying though :)

Pauline is brilliant but you have to be older to get her character and what she's all about. Not so long ago she was really annoying me with the tedious Chloe/Rebecca storyline but she did play the role well because she evoked that emotion in me so I can't imagine how Sonia and Martin were feeling. I'm surprised they didn't beat her up and wrap her fruit bowl around her head.
However she does play the part good of the meddling mother/mother-in-law, and I feel sympathy for character because she's on her own now. Most of her family has gone and Martin's married off to Sonia so she must feel really lonely.

pauline must have done something right to have been saved for 20 years!

It's nice to see Ian and Jane as a nice normal couple though. That's rare on the Square.

I don't think Pauline's time is up, she's sort of a last one standing thing. I think she'll be in the final ep whenever that is.

At the moment I prefer her on UKTV Gold before she had her hair cut and started looking like an ape that's been injected with all manner of drugs. Honestly I keep expecting her to jump around like a chimp atm!

And atleast that story has ended now. Anyways she doesn't get that much airtime, she hasn't been seen much since.
