Dannii Minogue could reportedly join a BBC version of hit American singing competition The Voice.
The NBC programme is based on the original Dutch format The Voice Of Holland. The US show sees Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton mentoring hopefuls they chose during blind auditions - which saw the panel facing away from the aspiring artists during their auditions.
The Sun claims that Minogue, who quit ITV's The X Factor over the weekend, could feature on the panel for a British version.
"Bosses really want Dannii, as she was hugely popular on the X Factor and really knows her stuff," an insider told the paper. "She mentored Matt Cardle to the crown last year and is really good with contestants. She would be great on The Voice."
However, a source told the paper that bosses at the broadcaster know how important it is to create the right line-up.
"It is a really big hit in the US and we are looking to do our own version for next year," they said. "But the casting of judges is really important. It is all about getting the right people involved in order to make it work."
It was previously claimed that Minogue is in discussions about new television opportunities following her decision to leave Simon Cowell's competition.

Robbie Williams is reportedly being lined up to join the UK version of singing competition The Voice.
The show, which will be launched by the BBC next year, sees celebrity coaches turn their backs on performers as they sing, judging contestants solely on their voice. It has been a hit in the US, where Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton mentor the singers.
Williams joining the UK version could see him on a rival show to Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, who is replacing Simon Cowell on this year's X Factor.
An insider told The Sun: "They still have a healthy rivalry and this would kick in if they were on opposing shows.
"Robbie would be great, particularly with his rivalry with Gary."
Adele is also allegedly in the frame to become a judge. Producers of The Voice are apparently pushing ahead with plans to launch the show following rumours that The X Factor is in crisis.
Dannii Minogue will reportedly not feature on a UK version of The Voice, should it be picked up by the BBC.
Reports had previously suggested that the former X Factor judge could be among the mentors chosen to appear on a potential British edition of the competition, based on the Dutch format The Voice Of Holland.
The hit US version features Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who are currently whittling down their teams of eight chosen singers from the audition rounds.
However, it has now been claimed that Minogue, who announced that she was quitting her role on the ITV1 show earlier this month, will not be among the famous faces targeted to fill the UK positions.
"Dannii is so associated with The X Factor she wouldn't be right for us," a BBC insider told The Mirror.
A BBC spokesperson recently told Digital Spy that "no decision" has been made on whether the corporation will pick up a UK version of The Voice.
Cheryl Cole is reportedly the BBC's top choice for the judging panel on the UK version of The Voice.
The Girls Aloud singer, who was axed from The X Factor USA last month, may already be in discussions for the role via her management, according to Metro.
A source said: "She is still lying low at the moment but there have been conversations with her management and things are moving forward.
"The BBC are hopeful she will commit."
It was announced yesterday that BBC One will debut The Voice in 2012, after noting the success of the US version.
BBC One controller Danny Cohen said: "I'm absolutely delighted that The Voice will be coming to the BBC. It's a big, exciting and warm-hearted series and will be a fantastic Saturday night event on BBC One."
Cheryl Cole had previously been tipped to defect to the BBC for The Voice last month. A source at the singer's record label had said: "Universal are heavily involved in recruiting judges for The Voice when it moves to the BBC and they are urging Cheryl to be the big star of that show."
Robbie Williams has also been rumoured to become a judge on the BBC One show as a possible rival to his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, who has joined ITV's The X Factor.
BBC One controller Danny Cohen has revealed that the UK version of The Voice will not clash with ITV's rival show The X Factor when it airs in 2012.
Cohen announced yesterday that the BBC had acquired the rights to air The Voice next year, after reaching an agreement with creator John de Mol.
He told The Mirror that the show will avoid clashing with The X Factor next year, adding that he views the formats as two completely different shows.
He explained: "The Voice is a really stand-out format and it has got a lot of warmth and heart.
"It has got something in it for all ages with very high quality musicians involved. There is a real freshness to the fact you are picking people not on what they look like, just on how they sing.
"In terms of judges, we want a real range of musical styles, that is something they have done well in the States. I wouldn't like to compare the show to The X Factor, it is just a big new show for the BBC. And we will work hard to avoid our show clashing with The X Factor on ITV."
Cohen added that the BBC purchased The Voice in order to keep with the BBC's vision to entertain, as well as to educate.
"We have got Strictly Come Dancing as well, we want to provide really good Saturday night entertainment right through the year. The vision of the BBC is it is there to inform, educate and entertain and we take inform and educate very seriously, but we also take the entertain bit seriously.
"The BBC has a fantastic heritage of wonderful family entertainment on Saturday evenings.
"We buy in formats for shows very rarely, like The Apprentice, and we only do it when we think it is something really special and we can add something to it as the BBC, to make it even more special. So, every so often we will take something from abroad because we think it is worth it."
He revealed that he was glad to have fought off competition from ITV to buy the format.
"We were a little worried when ITV put in a bid but we fought really passionately for the show and worked hard to show how we felt, and hopefully that played a part when bigger bids came in."
Cheryl Cole is reportedly in negotiations for a judging role for The Voice.

Cheryl Cole will not be joining the UK version of The Voice as a coach, it has been reported.
The singer, who was axed from The X Factor USA in June, had been linked to a role on the new BBC talent show and her representatives held preliminary talks about the role.
However, BBC bosses have since decided that they want a completely fresh panel, meaning no previous talent show judges will appear on the The Voice, The Sun reports.
"Cheryl is liked by everyone at the Beeb but it soon became clear we should start completely fresh," a source told the paper.
"We've got the show for at least two years - it's a great opportunity to grow our own coaches. We will be signing big names."
Dannii Minogue was apparently ruled out of The Voice UK earlier this year because she is "so associated with The X Factor".

Jessie J has been confirmed as the first coach on The Voice UK.
The announcement was made on Chris Moyles's BBC Radio 1 breakfast show on Tuesday morning. Moyles made his team play a guessing game, with the 'Price Tag' musician joining in answering 'yes' and 'no' questions in a variety of comedy voices.
Explaining the 'blind auditions' format to listeners, Jessie J confirmed that the UK format will have four coaches - who are both judges and mentors - and each will choose ten hopefuls after facing away from the acts while they perform.
The singer also praised the 'blind auditions', adding: "I do think sometimes that a lot of people don't audition for these shows because... they don't feel they look like a popstar. I can't wait, I'm so excited about it."
Danny Cohen, controller of BBC One, said: "Jessie J is going to be an amazing coach on The Voice UK. She's a massive young star with a strong personality, and her recent MOBO nominations are testament to her musical and creative ability."
Jessie J added in a statement: "I'm excited to be a coach, inspiration and mentor and I jumped at the opportunity as it's all about 'the voice'."
Further coaches will be confirmed in due course. Musicians including Lenny Kravitz, Charlotte Church and Cheryl Cole have been linked to the programme.
The US version of the show - which is based on The Voice of Holland, an original Dutch format created by John de Mol - has performed well in the ratings. It will return for a second season on NBC immediately after the Super Bowl on February 5, 2012.
Coaches Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine will all return for the US show's second season.
Anyone with the right to live or work in the UK may register to audition for The Voice UK by signing up via the show's website. Open auditions will begin in London on October 31 and continue across the UK throughout November.
The Voice UK premieres on BBC One in spring 2012.
I will be giving this a miss. Don't we have enough of this rubbish already. Saturday night TV is full of rubbish. Especially ITV. What has happened to having a good drama or film on at 9pm.

It’s all about the money, money, money :D
Sir Tom Jones is reportedly considering joining The Voice UK's panel.
The multi-award-winning singer - whose entertainment career spans six decades - is in advanced talks to join the BBC One talent show, The Sun claims.
A source is quoted as saying: "Tom is close to committing. He has almost 50 years' experience in music, so he'll be able to give contestants decent advice.
"Jessie J will attract younger viewers but Tom's bound to be the housewives' favourite."
Jones began singing as a young child in school choirs and at family functions, and found international success with 'It's Not Unusual' in early 1965. His most recent album, the gospel-inspired Praise & Blame, entered the UK charts at number two in 2010.
Jessie J was confirmed as the first coach for The Voice UK earlier this month.
She said that she hopes the show's 'blind auditions' format - where contestants are initially judged on their singing voice alone - will encourage applicants who are usually discouraged by similar shows.
wiil.i.am may become a coach on the UK version of The Voice.
The Black Eyed Peas musician has become the latest star to be linked with a judging and mentoring role on the new BBC One talent show, according to The Sun.
"Will is 95% a done deal," a show insider is quoted as saying. "He is a big star and loves nurturing new talent.
"He shoots from the lip, and will not be afraid to tell it like it is."
Auditions for The Voice - which has been a ratings success in the US and is based on an original Dutch format called The Voice of Holland - are already underway.
Jessie J has already been officially confirmed as the show's first coach, with stars including Sir Tom Jones, Lenny Kravitz and Charlotte Church linked to the show.
It was confirmed last week that Strictly Come Dancing's long-serving executive producer Moira Ross will join independent production company Wall to Wall in January 2012.
Her responsibilities as head of entertainment at the company will include overseeing The Voice UK.
The Voice UK is expected to premiere on BBC One in early 2012.
Take That's Mark Owen is reportedly in talks to join new BBC singing competition The Voice.
Producers are said to have offered the Take That singer a deal to become a judge on the show, following in the footsteps of bandmate Gary Barlow who is currently on the X Factor panel.
Jessie J was the first artist to be confirmed as a coach on The Voice UK.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday: "Getting Mark to sign up would be a huge scoop for The Voice. The format has been a *massive success in America and the BBC are determined to make sure they get the highest quality of judges possible.
"Gary has been a big hit on The X Factor and Beeb bosses love the idea of *getting one of his bandmates to go head-to-head against him on a rival show. Ideally producers want a huge international name but they also want a home-grown megastar.
"Although Jessie J is big right now, she's relatively new. Mark is perfect because he's not only had a hugely successful 20-year career, he's also relevant now. And signing him up to be a rival to Gary is even more of an *incentive."
Tom Jones, Bryan Adams, Mary J Blige and Lenny Kravitz have all been linked to a role on the show.
Kylie Minogue was recently ruled out of becoming a judge on The Voice because she would cost the corporation too much money.

Will Young is reportedly in talks to be one of the coaches on The Voice after Kylie Minogue pulled out.
The Jealousy hitmaker is in negotiations to appear on the UK version of the US talent show – which has seen Jessie J sign up as a judge, while Tom Jones, will.i.am and George Michael have been linked to the BBC1 programme – after the Australian popstar was thought to have turned down the opportunity due to financial reasons.
A source told The Sun newspaper: 'Will is seen as a middling star who would fit in around other people.'
Mary J Blige is also in talks to appear on the show - which sees panellists sit with their back to the contestants to judge them purely on their vocal ability – but she is yet to confirm her involvement.
She recently explained: 'I have been approached and we have been in discussions about The Voice. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right now. We'll have to wait and see.'
Jessie – who recently helped X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos choose her final three contestants for the ITV1 programme - is the first judge to have signed up for The Voice, and she can't wait to get started.
The Price Tag singer said: 'I'm excited to be a coach, inspiration and mentor and I jumped at the opportunity as it's all about The Voice.'
Reggie Yates has claimed that he would jump at the chance to host The Voice on BBC One.
The Radio 1 DJ and Top of the Pops host has been linked to the job since providing the voiceover for the music reality show's first teaser trailers.
Little Britain star David Walliams is the only other star who has been linked to the presenting role.
"It's news to me, but if they want to give me the job I'll definitely take it. But I haven't heard anything. I'm pretty sure," he told Digital Spy at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards..
However, Yates did confess that he was a huge fan of the show since watching the US NBC version: "When I was in LA, I was in my hotel, I whacked on the telly and it was properly gripping. The balance of the judges was amazing.
"When the judges actually got up and sang with the contestants, I was like, 'Holy s**t' - this could be amazing. In the UK I think it could be a pretty awesome show because we've not seen anything like that in a while."
Jessie J is the only star currently confirmed for The Voice. Take That's Mark Owen, Sir Tom Jones, Mary J Blige and Will Young have also been linked to judges roles.
The Voice will launch on BBC One in spring 2012.
Holly Willoughby is being lined as a presenter for the BBC's new talent show The Voice, which is viewed as a rival to The X Factor.
She is understood to have been in "advanced talks" with the corporation and has already stepped down from her role on ITV1's Dancing On Ice.
The Voice is expected to launch in the spring and will feature big name stars as mentors, who are known as "coaches". Jessie J has already been confirmed and others in the frame are said to include Lenny Kravitz and Sir Tom Jones.
Willoughby is expected to be confirmed in the role next week. It would be her first major show for the BBC, with most of her previous work for ITV.
She is the co-host of weekday show This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield. And she had also co-hosted Dancing On Ice with him.
ITV announced she was to be replaced by Daybreak host Christine Bleakley for the seventh series of the celebrity skating show.
The BBC would not officially confirm Willoughby had been given the role. An announcement is due to be made next week.
Mother-of-two Willoughby has previously been a host of ITV2's X Factor spin-off The Xtra Factor.
She had her big break on Saturday morning children's show Ministry Of Mayhem and has also worked on Celebrity Juice and Holly And Fearne Go Dating.

Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates have been confirmed as the hosts of BBC One's new singing reality show The Voice UK.
Willoughby, whose reality TV pedigree includes presenting Dancing on Ice and The Xtra Factor, will team up with Radio 1's Yates to front the talent contest and interview the competing acts and celebrity coaching panel.
"I'm so excited to be hosting The Voice," said Willoughby.
"When it launched in America I watched one of the shows and thought it was just a fantastic format, and when I heard it was coming to the UK I thought to myself how incredible it would be to be a part of it.
"It's going to be one roller coaster of a ride and I can't wait to get started!"
Yates added: "I'm so delighted to get this job and be part of such a credible music show. The format of The Voice in America has worked brilliantly and I have no doubt it will be just as successful on British TV."
BBC One controller Danny Cohen described Willoughby and Yates as "the perfect partnership".
"They are both big fans of the show and will bring a huge amount of passion and enthusiasm to the production," said Cohen.
Jessie J is currently the only coach confirmed for the series. The US version on NBC features Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
Stars including Mark Owen, Tom Jones, will.i.am and Lenny Kravitz have all been linked to the show.
The Voice UK will launch in spring 2012 on BBC One.

Holly will be great
will.i.am has been confirmed as the second celebrity coach on BBC One's The Voice.
The Black Eyed Peas musician will join Jessie J on the UK version of the hit reality series, which will be hosted by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates.
"I'm proud to be doing The Voice UK because the UK was the first place I saw success," said the star. "It's the place I'm the most creative outside of home."
BBC One controller Danny Cohen added: "I am thrilled that will.i.am has signed up to be a coach on The Voice. He is a huge star who will bring a unique creativity to the show."
will.i.am, real name William James Adams Jr, has sold 31 million albums worldwide and won seven Grammy Awards as part of the Black Eyed Peas. He has also collaborated with the likes of Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Usher, Nicki Minaj and Cheryl Cole.
He was first rumoured to be involved with the UK version of The Voice in late October.
The Voice will debut on BBC One in early 2012.
oh dear jessie j does it again.....http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s154/the-voice-uk/news/a354338/jessie-j-reveals-will-young-tom-jones-for-the-voice-uk-panel.html
could this be the final panel?
Sir Tom Jones and The Script singer Danny O'Donoghue have been announced as the final two coaches of The Voice UK.
The duo join previously-announced Jessie J and will.i.am on the show, which is based on hit Dutch format The Voice of Holland.
"I'm excited about The Voice, and thrilled to be participating as a coach," Jones said. "This is a strong show; it's all about talent - but it's also exciting, competitive and compelling television. I've been blessed over the years to share the stage with some of the world's finest artists, and I look forward to being part of the team that discovers a great, new, genuine talent."
O'Donoghue, who has sold over 3.5 million albums worldwide as lead singer of the Irish group, said: "I'm a massive fan of The Voice, so to be involved as a coach is amazing.
"This is a show unlike any other because it puts vocal ability first above all else. I look forward to putting my team together and battling it out with the other coaches to see who wins this unique, credible competition. I'm in it to win it!"
Of the completed lineup, BBC One controller Danny Cohen added: "I'm delighted to be announcing Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue as coaches for The Voice. Tom is a music legend and will bring huge experience and creativity to the lineup. Danny is a rising star who will bring freshness and surprise to the team.
"Overall, our lineup of Tom Jones, Jessie J, will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue gives us mega-star quality, great musical range and musicians we know our audience love."
The Voice UK will debut early next year.
Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates will host the singing competition, which sees hopefuls perform for the coaches in blind auditions.
Will Young has confirmed that he missed out on joining The Voice UK.
The 'Jealousy' star was widely expected to join Jessie J and will.i.am as a coach on the BBC's new singing competition.
Jessie J herself appeared to confirm his involvement, telling a tabloid newspaper that she is pleased to be a fan of who she will work with.
Earlier today, the BBC announced that Tom Jones and The Script singer Danny O'Donoghue will judge alongside Jessie J and will.i.am.
Following his fans' disappointed reaction, Young tweeted that he lost the role due to the decision to hire someone "more rock" than himself.
"The voice came, the voice went. They wanted to go more rock... Should have dusted off my Leather jacket! Hey ho, (sic)" he said, before adding: "Hang on... Just got jimmy page on the Line. I'm commiserating him."
In what could be a tweet related to the news, Young last night lamented: "Words escape me. Life is sometimes a bitch."
The Voice UK is expected to air in the spring.
Cheryl Cole is reportedly planning to debut her new single on The Voice.
The Girls Aloud star and her manager will.i.am, who is a coach on the BBC One singing competition, want to showcase the track with a performance on the show, the Daily Star Sunday reports.
Cole's team is said to be finalising her promotional campaign with a spring release in mind and want her to appear on The Voice since it will be directly competing with Britain's Got Talent.
"Cheryl should be releasing her single when The Voice is on TV so it makes sense to combine the two," a source said. "Cheryl's manager will.i.am is obviously a judge on the show so he's already been talking to producers to get the ball rolling.
"The BBC are desperate to beat Cowell and Britain's Got Talent in the ratings and they know there's no better way to do that than by getting Cheryl to perform her new single for the very first time live on the show.
"Cheryl would be a massive ratings winner and scoop for The Voice. Not only will the performance be seen by millions of people, it will also be a good way for Cheryl to stick up a cheeky one finger salute at Simon."
Jessie J, Tom Jones and The Script's Danny O'Donoghue also feature as coaches on The Voice, which is due to premiere in the spring.
Cowell has previously admitted that he views the new show as competition, insisting that he'll make Britain's Got Talent better in response.
Cole and Cowell famously fell out when she was axed from The X Factor USA just days after she joined the panel.
She is said to be considering releasing a song she wrote with Taio Cruz as her new single.
The first picture of the Voice UK judges on the set of the new BBC One talent show has been revealed.
Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, Tom Jones, The Script's Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J have posed in the show's famous swivel red chairs for their first promotional shot for the Saturday night reality series.

Hosted by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates, the Voice will aim to find a new singing star in the UK through blind auditions.
The show's popstar coaches will pick out their favourite singers during the auditions, before battling it out against the other judges with their team of acts.
will.i.am, Jones, O'Donoghue and Jessie J have filmed a group performance together, which will air on the show's opening episode. The judges on the US series, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, did the same in their first season launch in 2011.
The Voice UK launches in March on Saturday nights on BBC One.

I would have liked Will Young to have been a judge.
BBC One's The Voice UK will apparently launch on Saturday, March 24.
In a press release about the primetime Saturday night talent show's social media strategy, the premiere date was confirmed.
Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J and Tom Jones are the coaches in the reality series, which features blind auditions and battle stages before reaching live shows.
The winner of The Voice UK will land a record contract with Universal.
Holly Willoughby and Radio 1's Reggie Yates are hosting the series, which BBC One controller Danny Cohen reportedly spent over £20 million to secure for the broadcaster after a battle with ITV over the rights.
All four judges and the hosts will be at a Central London launch event tomorrow.

Rival TV shows may go head-to-head
BBC One's new series The Voice could go head-to-head with ITV's Britain's Got Talent for as long as 50 minutes as the launch night spat between the broadcasters stepped up a gear.
BBC One's new series The Voice could go head-to-head with ITV's Britain's Got Talent for as long as 50 minutes as the launch night spat between the broadcasters stepped up a gear.
Both shows are to begin on the same night, March 24, and draft schedules exchanged by TV bosses show there will be a hefty overlap.
The BBC has already been angered by ITV1's decision to screen its popular show on the same night as The Voice's debut, nearly three weeks earlier than BGT traditionally airs.
The BBC is investing millions in its new singing show featuring star judges Will.i.am, Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones and The Script's Danny O'Donoghue.
The schedule will be finalised on Wednesday, but latest plans put The Voice with a 7pm start, while Britain's Got Talent is due to begin at 7.30pm.
Both shows have already moved 15 minutes earlier than they were originally pencilled to start. First the BBC went earlier in the evening, to reduce the overlap, but then ITV apparently followed suit.
Last week when the clash emerged, BBC sources accused their rivals of competitive scheduling. But ITV insiders responded by saying that a clash was entirely foreseeable if the BBC wanted to launch its show in the spring when BGT has aired for the past four years.
The Voice - in which wannabes perform blind auditions for the judges who will become their "coaches" - is due to be on air for 80 minutes during its launch show.
Britain's Got Talent will kick off with a show which lasts until 8.45pm.

The Voice UK host Holly Willoughby has described the four coaches on the new BBC reality series as "badass" and has billed the chemistry between the stars as "magical".
will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue will act as coaches and mentors on the Saturday night entertainment show and host Willoughby promised that the foursome would make great television.
"They are all badass. They are all incredible. Put them all in the room together and magic happens," the This Morning host told Digital Spy.
"They all come from different areas of the music industry and it's quite magical seeing them together. I just love Jessie J, I love her."
Willoughby's co-host Reggie Yates added: "I just want to be Tom Jones's mate. I'm just standing around him hoping that he'll give me his number of something."
Yates also played down any rivalry between The Voice UK and Simon Cowell's talent show empire, commenting: "I don't know if this is about toppling anyone. This is a very different animal altogether.
"I think when you see what this show is all about, you'll see exactly where we are coming from."
The Voice UK launches on Saturday, March 24 at 7pm on BBC One.
The Voice UK
Saturday 7 April
Time to be confirmed
BBC ONE and BBC HD
It is the third week of the blind auditions, as the coaches – Jessie J, will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones – continue the search to find the UK’s next great voice.
During the blind auditions, coaches are seated in chairs facing away from the stage. They hear the artists perform but don't get to see them.
If a coach is impressed by an artist's voice alone, he/she pushes a button on the chair to select the artist, at which point the chair rotates so the coach can see the performer. If more than one coach turns, the power shifts to the artist, who then has the choice of which of the coaches' teams he or she wants to join.
However, if no coach turns, the artist is out of the competition. Who will impress the coaches and who won’t make it past the first round of the competition?

Contestants on The Voice will get a little help from friends including Paloma Faith and Cerys Matthews when they join the talent show later this month.

Scissor Sisters singer Ana Matronic will help out Jessie J and Will.i.am will be joined by his long-term collaborator Dante Santiago.

Am looking forward to the next stage of the competition now. But I saw a clip of the battle stage, and to me it didn't look very good because it just looked like two people trying to sing/shout each other down! Hope I'm wrong though!
The Voice UK's top contenders may go on tour this autumn.
The Voice format creators Talpa Productions have entered talks with Live Nation about a series of arena shows later this year, The Sun claims.
"Everyone has been taken aback by how successful The Voice has been, so a tour is a no-brainer," a source said. "Discussions about a series of arena shows in the autumn are underway."
The insider also quipped that talk of a Voice live tour "probably won't go down well with Simon Cowell", whose reality show The X Factor is due to return for a new season in the autumn.
The songlist for Saturday's first Voice UK Battle Rounds show has been confirmed, with the first 20 singers tackling tracks by the likes of Rihanna, Elvis Presley and U2.
will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J have to cut down their teams of 10 to a Top 5 over this weekend's double bill of shows, which feature the singers being paired off in 'Battles'.
The duets feature the performers tackling the same track and they must impress their coach and the guest Battle Advisors (Paloma Faith, Cerys Matthews, Ana Matronic) to make it through to the Live Shows.
Saturday night's Battle Round songlist in full is:
Barbara Bryceland vs Leanne Mitchell: 'The Edge Of Glory' (Lady GaGa)
Max Milner vs Bill Downs: 'Beggin'' (Madcon)
Ruth Brown vs Deniece Pearson: 'No-one' (Alicia Keys)
Vince Freeman vs Bo Bruce: 'With Or Without You' (U2)
Jenny Jones vs Joelle Moses: 'I'm Every Woman' (Chaka Khan)
Kirsten Joy vs Toni Warne: 'Think' (James Brown)
Sam Buttery vs Aundrea Nyle: 'A Little Less Conversation' (Elvis Presley)
Jaz Ellington vs Jay Norton: 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' (Marvin Gaye)

I enjoyed The Voice much more than Britain's Got Talent yesterday. I found the Battle stages very entertaining, unlike most of the BGT acts.
The song list for tonight's (April 22) final Voice UK Battle Rounds has been confirmed.
will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J will continue to cut down their teams of ten down to five in the second of this weekend's double bill.
The duets feature the performers tackling the same track as they attempt to impress their coach. The guest Battle Advisors are Paloma Faith, Cerys Matthews, Ana Matronic and Dante Santiago.
Nine contestants made it through to the Live Rounds during last night's (April 21) show.
The Voice UK continues at 7.30pm tonight on BBC One.
Tonight's Battle Round song list in full:
Cassius Henry vs David Faulkner - 'Beat It' (Michael Jackson)
Barbara Bryceland vs Leanne Mitchell - 'Edge of Glory' (Lady GaGa)
Frances Wood vs Kate Read - 'Ironic' (Alanis Morissette)
Aleks Josh vs Emmy J Mac - 'Broken Strings' (James Morrison featuring Nelly Furtado)
Ruth Ann St Luce vs Ben Kelly - 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' (Whitney Houston)
Matt & Sueleen vs Lindsey Butler - 'Born To Run' (Bruce Springsteen)
Hannah Berney vs Murray Hockridge - 'Kids' (Robbie Williams & Kylie Minogue)
Becky Hill vs Indie & Pixie - 'Irreplaceable' (Beyoncé)
Adam Isaac vs Denise Morgan - 'Use Somebody' (Kings of Leon)
J Marie Cooper vs Sophie Griffin - 'Firework' (Katy Perry)

For some reason I enjoyed Saturday's episode more than Sunday's, and I found some of the judges' decisions strange too.

Ruth Brown should really look at the clothes she wears,, the back of her dresses were about up to her rear end,,is there no one to check their wardrobes before they go on stage ??
Danny's team was good on the Sunday results show but I wish it was recorded live on Sunday instead of Saturday night where results are already all over the internet
Tom made the wrong choice saving the duo Sam was better

WILL.I.AM’s clothes come from outer space – and now his music will too.
NASA have approached the Black Eyed Peas star about producing an exclusive track to be played during a future Mars mission.
In what would be a world first, its debut play will be broadcast back to mission control. The old guys working there might need to bring some earplugs.
A source said: “Will has a natural affiliation with NASA and even namechecked them on his single T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever). He’s always keen to get involved in their projects and this was an opportunity he couldn’t turn down.
“NASA feel Will is the ideal figure to appeal to a mainstream audience and promote their technologies.”
The song is likely to be a bonus track on his upcoming album #willpower.
Will has previously worked with the US space agency to promote science to young people on Twitter. He’s also done a public service announcement on NASA’s TV channel.
The producer will begin work on the track once his TV commitments to The Voice have ended. So if he wants to keep the oldies at NASA sweet he’s still got a while to tap up fellow coach Tom Jones to feature on it.

THE VOICE is crying out for an overhaul as viewers switch off in their millions.
Just 6.4million tuned in to the results show on Sunday – down more than four million from the show’s 10.8million peak last month.
The blind auditions stage saw The Voice thrash ITV1 rival Britain’s Got Talent.
But as we’ve revealed, viewers have got fed up with the judges being too nice to big-headed wannabes. The BBC has blown £22million of our licence fee cash on the new format. The show is due to return next year.
But Beeb bean-counters may think again if ratings continue to slide.
So TV Biz has come up with a step-by-step guide to save The Voice.
We reckon our top tips could lure viewers back in their droves in no time.
Don’t mention it!
1. Stop calling the singers ‘artists’
THEY are not artists, they are simply wannabes on a TV talent show.
You only get to be called an artist when you have proved yourself. And by that we mean flogging millions of records and selling out the O2, not gigging in a dingy pub in Brighton.
2. Cut the cliches
WITHIN the first few minutes of Sunday’s results show, an excitable Holly Willoughby was banging on about the “artists being on a journey”.
If X Factor can get rid of that sort of nonsense, surely The Voice can?
3. Get your claws out
WE’VE said it before but the coaches are just too nice.
If someone sounds like they’re vomiting in an echo chamber, don’t tell them they’re “pitchy”.
Give ’em both barrels. This killing with kindness puts us to sleep!
4. Watch BGT
IT was a daft decision to hire the company behind Who Do You Think You Are? to make a live reality show.
It doesn’t take a telly expert to realise that some of the shots are all over the place.
The producers should watch BGT and The X Factor in a darkened room for 24 hours straight to learn how it’s done.
5. Ditch the V-Room
HONESTLY, no one cares. It’s simply not working.
Host Reggie Yates spends too long chatting to and pretending to care about the wannabes when he should be out front, working the audience.
Get it sorted.
6. Stop dancing
THE judges’ constant dancing around is excruciating.
It’s like watching your extended family shake their stuff on a wedding dance floor.
Not cool.
7. Move chairs closer together
THEY’RE not spinning around any more, so push the mentors’ chairs together.
They are too far apart to engage with each other properly.
The genius of X Factor, BGT and Strictly is the banter between the judges.
8. Stop singing
YES, we know the show’s coaches are “four of the world’s biggest artists”.
But stop making them sing for us. They look so uncomfortable.
That group performance of U2’s Beautiful Day a couple of weeks ago was so painful, I wouldn’t be surprised if Bono disowned the track. Just tragic.
9. Hire Cowell
HE’S wrapped up in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent – throw him a few million and he’s yours.

They should do the results on Saturday night as well as the live show

I just don't find it very exciting or fresh anymore. I will continue to watch it however, but don't know about next year. I think they've got the coaches right, but they need "that special ingredient" IMO.
The songlist for this Saturday's (May 19) The Voice UK has been revealed, featuring tracks from Rihanna, Jack Johnson and Whitney Houston.
Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J's teams will be returning for a second live show to earn their place in next week's semi-final.
Show favourite Aleks Josh will be tackling Jack Johnson's 'Better Together', while friend Becky Hill will cover 'Seven Nation Army' by the White Stripes.
Elsewhere, Bo Bruce is singing Rihanna's 'Love The Way You Lie', and Vince Kidd is taking on Whitney Houston classic 'My Love Is Your Love'.
David Julien is hoping to impress viewers with Maroon 5's 'She Will Be Loved', while Cassius Henry will perform a version of Adele's 'Turning Tables'.
The Voice UK airs tomorrow night at 6.30pm on BBC One.
The songlist in full:
Max Milner - 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree' (KT Tunstall)
Bo Bruce - 'Love The Way You Lie' (Rihanna)
Aleks Josh - 'Better Together' (Jack Johnson)
David Julien - 'She Will Be Loved' (Maroon 5)
Becky Hill - 'Seven Nation Army' (The White Stripes)
Cassius Henry - 'Turning Tables' (Adele)
Toni Warne - 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word' (Elton John)
Vince Kidd - 'My Love Is Your Love' (Whitney Houston)
Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue will perform during The Voice UK's semi-final results show, it has been confirmed.
It was rumoured that the pair would appear earlier this month, and it was reported yesterday (May 17) that Cole was using Gwyneth Paltrow's personal trainer Tracy Anderson to help her work out ahead of the unconfirmed guest slot.
The BBC has now announced that the pair will sing during the semi-final results show on Sunday, May 27, stating: "It is the eliminations again and this time there is more at stake than ever... a place in The Voice UK live final. Eight artists remain, but only one artist from each team will make it through.
"As the drama unfolds, international superstar Kylie Minogue and pop princess Cheryl Cole will also be performing exclusively in the Voice arena."
Cole is currently working on her third studio album A Million Lights, and has reportedly teamed up with Wretch 32 for track 'Screw You'.
Minogue has announced plans to release a compilation of her greatest hits, The Best of Kylie Minogue, in the UK on June 4 and in the US on June 19.
The Voice UK continues tomorrow night (Saturday, May 19) at 6.30pm on BBC One.

Leanne, Tyler, Bo and Vince in the final delighted with that line up I think Bo or Tyler will win it
I was very pleased with this line up too :D I want Vince to win now :)
Tyler is, believe it or not, singing a Michael Jackson song - I'll be there! Isn't that something that 8 year olds do on BGT? Poor, poor song choice and won't do him any favours with neutrals who are fed up to the back teeth with tv wannabees singing singing pre-pubescent Wacko songs! As for next year, they need to do something about the shoutfest that was the Battle Round - so many good singers got dumped because the judges couldn't hear their voices from within the racket that was created. No wonder the viewing figures plummeted. It's Bo or Leanne for me - blokes singing falsetto all the time does my head in!

After Vince got sent home, I wanted Leanne to win,
so Congratulations to Leanne & Tom Jones! :D
I think Leanne was a well deserved winner! what a performance that duet with Tom was.
I think Bo's sob story about her mother cost her
Leanne gave two towering performances and has the voice hope she does well usually it is better not winning so Tyler and Bo and Vince could also do well
The Voice UK tour has been axed in its entirety due to poor ticket sales.
It was confirmed earlier today that five of the 11 scheduled dates this September had been scrapped, but now the complete nationwide jaunt has been called off.
A spokesperson confirmed to Digital Spy: "Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales - customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds."
The final eight contestants of The Voice UK were scheduled to appear on the tour, which was due to visit London's O2 Arena and major cities including Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Cardiff.
It was reported last week that the tour hadn't sold out a single venue.
Further embarrassment hit The Voice recently when its first winner Leanne Mitchell failed to crack the Top 40 with her cover of 'Run To You'.
However, the series did celebrate being named the BBC's biggest entertainment launch in a decade, with average ratings higher than the debut series of The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing and I'm a Celebrity.
