A ****-a-doodle-doo woke the group this morning so they could crack on with their egg-stremely challenging new task.
The Housemates, dressed as fluffy yellow chickens, have been charged with looking after an egg each.
The feathered friends must make sure they do not put down their egg unless instructed to, never mind drop it.
The chickens that manage to follow these simple rules and produce their egg intact at midday will be invited to have a good old knees-up at a barn dance.
Big Brother has made sure that the Housemates can't just escape into the pool to shirk parenting duties. Their eggs must accompany them in the water wearing goggles, and when soaking up the rays they must place sunglasses over the shell.
Science already seems to have bonded with his fragile friend. "Hello eggy Egbert, I'll look after you!" he promised.
Sadly the others looked like they'd rather be eating the task with some soldiers.
