Here's a sneak peek at Todd Grimshaw's forthcoming return to Coronation Street, which airs in the soap's special Easter episode later this month.

Todd comes back to Weatherfield for one day only after deciding that Easter Sunday is the perfect time to introduce Eileen and Jason to his rich new boyfriend Jools.

Although Todd is feeling slightly nervous about taking Jools back to the modest house where he used to live, he soon realises that he's being snobbish and changes his attitude.

Todd is also well aware that he's left a lot of history behind on the street and not everyone will be pleased to see him, so his brief visit home won't go entirely to plan…

SUNDAY 24th APRIL

Todd travels north for the day to introduce his new rich boyfriend Jools to mum Eileen.

However, as Eileen attempts to show the couple around, Todd's visit to Weatherfield doesn't go exactly to plan.

Meanwhile, Sean heads to London to be reunited with his son Dylan for the Easter holidays. Violet's shocked to see him, and it soon becomes clear that all isn't right between her and boyfriend Jamie.

As Sean tends to Dylan, he's thrilled when ex Marcus walks into the flat revealing he's been mates with the couple for years. Marcus agrees to accompany Sean on a trip out with Dylan, but will it be a dream date or a recipe for disaster?

Mon 25th 7-30pm

John hasn't come home all night and Fiz is worried sick. Scared that if the police find him he might babble about the fraud, she tells Ches they have to deal with this themselves.

However, when Ches and Kirk return from a fruitless search, she resigns herself to making the call. John, meanwhile, is outside Charlotte's parents' house. Is he about to confess all?

Meanwhile, Eddie struggles to cope with Anna's rejection and he has some shocking news for her.

Elsewhere, Tina complains that Xin's visa is taking too long to arrive and is especially concerned about the growing friendship between Graeme and Xin, while Steve enlists Ken's help in getting an Easter egg to Amy as he's still banned from seeing her.

8-30pm


Inside the Hoyle household, Charlotte's parents are deeply concerned for 'Colin' as he breaks down repeating that he's sorry. He's an emotional wreck and they can see he needs help.

Finding his phone, they discover several missed calls from Fiz and decide to call her. Fiz is confused but confusion turns to alarm when she arrives at the Hoyles' and discovers they're Charlotte's parents. Is Fiz about to learn the real extent of John's double life?

Meanwhile, as Eddie plans to leave, Faye's upset, seeing it as another desertion. Anna insists there's no need for him to go away, but when he questions her about their future, will she be able to give him the answers he needs?

Elsewhere, Xin defends Graeme when Kylie publicly disparages him, but her outburst betrays her depth of feeling for him and leaves Tina troubled; Tracy tackles Steve about using Ken as a go-between; and Tommy continues to try his luck with Tina, believing her to be single.


Thurs 28th 8-30pm

When Xin and Graeme receive a letter from immigration revealing they're being inspected tomorrow, they panic. Tina accuses Norris of grassing them up, but she's stunned when Mary confesses it was her.

Back at the flat, Graeme's in turmoil as he frets about another stint behind bars. Loathing herself, Xin decides to take matters into her own hands and does a runner on the eve of the inspection.

Meanwhile, as John opens up to Fiz about Charlotte's obsession with him and his guilt over her death, will he confess all? Ches is on to John too and as he asks questions of Fiz, it looks like the net is closing in.

Elsewhere, the Barlows take Tracy to task over her treatment of Steve but they're stunned to learn of his plan to abduct her; Tommy supports Tina after hearing how Mary grassed on her, Graeme and Xin; while Anna gets shocking news from social services about Faye's adoption.

Fri 29th 7-30pm

Graeme is desperate to track Xin down before it's too late. He eventually gets an address of a friend and races after her. Enlisting the help of an apologetic Mary for transport, Graeme finds Xin and insists she's coming whether she likes it or not.

Mary's brilliant as she drills them on their story, but when the motor home breaks down, it looks like getting home in time for the inspection could prove tricky.

Meanwhile, when Deirdre confronts Steve, she's fuming to discover that he and Becky are planning a day out with Max, acting like nothing's happened. Noting it's this Sunday, the cogs in Tracy's head start to turn.

Elsewhere, John urges Fiz to accept his version of events; Ken invites his grandson James to move in when he returns to the street and reveals that the homeless charity he works for is opening a hostel nearby; and Katy struggles with sickness.

8-30pm

Steve's stunned when Tracy announces that she's relaxing her ban on him seeing Amy, starting on Sunday when he can take her to Blackpool.

When Steve explains that he's taking Max out that day, Tracy accuses him of throwing her offer back in her face. What will Steve do?

Meanwhile, as the UK Border Agency official grills Graeme and Xin, he reminds them how serious it is if they lie and their marriage is found to be fraudulent. Terrified, Graeme does his best to support Xin, who plants a lingering kiss on his lips.

Later, when Graeme spots Tommy giving Tina a supportive hug, he totally misreads it and accuses her of messing around while he's been going through hell. Back home, Xin moves to comfort him.

Elsewhere, Tommy coaches Tyrone in attracting the ladies; Mary's horrified to discover her camper van's missing; and Deirdre and Ken take up practical pottery.
