Must be Spence. It was said somewhere that he is returning.
Must be Spence. It was said somewhere that he is returning.
I read Charile is coming back to make his peace with Kat so I reckon he is.. the guy who plays Spence said he is not coming back
There's a heartwarming reunion in store on EastEnders later this month, as Charlie Slater returns to Albert Square to see Kat and Alfie.
After having her beloved son Tommy handed back to her in the climax to the baby swap storyline, Kat finds the strange situation too much to take in and pines after her dad, but Alfie is unable to get hold of him.
However, Kat's wish to see her father is soon granted as Mo calls out that there's a visitor for her, and it's none other than Charlie. The pair share an emotional hug and Charlie tells his daughter that he feels awful about everything that happened before he left Walford.
Opening up to Charlie, Kat admits that she wants to be happy now that she has Tommy back, but is struggling to come to terms with the situation. However, Charlie encourages her to concentrate on the future rather than the past, and they head out to take Tommy to the park.
While they're out, Charlie shares some surprising news with Kat, explaining that he has a new partner and they're getting married!
A Walford source said: "Although they've had their ups and downs, Kat deeply regrets pushing Charlie away. The pair have a tearful reunion and there won't be a dry eye in the house.

18th April
Ronnie is interviewed at the police station by the forensic medical examiner and she makes a tearful apology for what she has done. A shocked Roxy and Michael are also at the police station and as they leave, Roxy is stunned to hear Michael make light of the situation. Meanwhile, a heartbroken Jack is at the hospital, where he's forced to say an emotional goodbye to the baby in his cot. Finally finding the strength to leave his side, Jack makes his exit from the hospital just as Roxy arrives in a cab. Jack then jumps into the cab and heads back to Walford.
Kat and Alfie are also at the hospital but they're struggling to come to terms with the shocking news that Tommy is alive and well. The couple learn that they will have to face questions from a social worker as standard procedure, but Kat finds the prospect too much to cope with and runs off. Alfie hopes that he can deal with the formalities by himself, but the social worker explains that Kat needs to be there.
Soon afterwards, Kat arrives back at The Vic, where Jean is preparing a celebration for Tommy's return. As Jean pulls out Tommy's toy lion Clarence and speaks about how Kat is bringing her baby boy home, Kat becomes tearful and the enormity of what is happening finally starts to sink in.
At the hospital, the social worker has given up waiting for Kat to arrive, despite Alfie's protestations that she must have been held up. As the social worker leaves, Kat calls Alfie and informs him that she is rushing to get to the hospital, weighed down with lots of baby stuff. Kat arrives just as the social worker is driving out, so she blocks her exit by standing in front of the vehicle and vowing not to move. Kat's desperate measures work as the social worker soon hands Tommy over to her.
Shortly afterwards, Kat finds Alfie and the couple are overjoyed to have their baby back at last.

Jack is struggling to cope with recent events and decides to pay a visit to Ronnie in prison. As the pair are reunited, there's an awkward silence as they sit together but Jack finally asks the inevitable question of why she did what she did. Jack pleads with his wife to tell the truth, but all she says is that he should find someone who will treat him well. Ronnie blows her husband a kiss before walking away from him, leaving him devastated.
Meanwhile, the press arrive on Albert Square after hearing about the goings-on in Walford. However, Mo has an idea of how to deal with the reporters and grinds up some tablets into a dozen mugs of tea. She then hands out the cups to the press outside, but Alfie demands to know what she's up to, fearing that she's poisoned them. One of the reporters then comes into The Vic wanting to use the toilet, and Mo tells Alfie that she slipped laxatives into all of the cups. Soon afterwards, everyone gets a surprise when Charlie arrives at The Vic with a cuddly toy. Kat is thrilled to see him and the pair have a tearful reunion.
Over at the café, a local reporter approaches Whitney and manipulates her into talking to him, telling her that he's from the Walford Gazette and wants to set the record straight because he doesn't like the way Ronnie is being portrayed by the national press. Whitney accepts his words and soon starts to fill him in on the situation.
Elsewhere, Ashley sees Mercy kissing Seb and tells Fatboy about it; Tanya struggles to come to terms with the events of the previous week; and Mercy tells Fatboy that she has visa issues, but he jealously informs her to get Seb to sort it out before later informing his father that he's in love with Mercy.
21st April
Whitney pays a visit to Pat's house for a talk with Ricky and Carol at their request. However, things don't go well as Whitney is defensive amid their concerns for her. Soon afterwards, things get worse as Ricky reads the interview that Whitney has given to the Walford Gazette. An upset Whitney insists that she was tricked by the reporter and that he took her words out of context. As tensions rise, Whitney storms out of the house. Later, she tries to ask Mr Lister about her stall, but he brushes her off. As the day continues, though, Lister takes pity on Whitney and invites her to lunch at The Vic, where he finally agrees to let her have the stall back.
Lister starts to get drunk at the pub and informs Whitney about how his life is miserable. Whitney comforts him but when Janine spots this, she's concerned and brands Lister a pervert. Ricky walks in on the heated scene and tries to drag Whitney home with him, but she runs off. Later, Ricky visits Whitney at Dot's and reprimands her over the interview and for getting drunk with Lister. When Whitney reminds him that he is not her father, Ricky hits back by saying that he's glad he's not. Ricky then tells Dot that he's had enough of Whitney and she can throw her life away if that's what she wants.
Meanwhile, Jack asks Alfie whether the name on the baby's headstone can be changed, so Alfie agrees to talk to Kat about it and tells Jack to come back later. At the same time, Charlie has some happy news for Kat as he reveals that he's engaged. Later, Jack arrives at the pub and sees everyone toasting Charlie, and Kat and Alfie looking happy with Tommy. An upset Jack turns to leave, but Alfie spots him and realises that he's forgotten to ask Kat about the headstone. As the day draws to a close, Alfie realises that Kat is still struggling to cope with the strange situation but he promises that they'll get through it together.
Elsewhere, Roxy confronts Michael about his confusing reaction to the news about Tommy, and he tells her that maybe it's time for him to leave; Phil warns Rainie to stay away from him as he's now clean; Ashley accuses Mercy of stringing Fatboy along before spitefully calling the UK border agency to report that someone has outstayed their visa; and Janine is curious when she spots that Lydia has a letter from Blythe Wealth Management, but Lydia snatches it away before she can investigate further.
22nd April
Tensions between Zainab and Masood are running high amid their ongoing money problems. When Zainab does some shopping at the Minute Mart, she's mortified when her card is rejected and she doesn't have the cash to pay, but Patrick agrees that she can settle up later. At the same time, Phil asks Masood for his cash and warns him that the interest on the loan is piling up. Later, Zainab bumps into Yusef and he tells her that he's been paying a home visit to a patient who was discharged too early. Zainab worries that he's referring to Syed until Yusef assures her otherwise. The pair then go for a coffee together and Yusef offers his ex-wife £10,000 to help with her financial problems, but Zainab politely declines the offer.
As the day continues, Masood pays another visit to Phil at The Arches and makes a business proposition, asking to be involved in a poker game that Phil is planning. Masood promises that he has a winning system and will split the rewards with Phil. Phil seems tempted by the idea. At the same time, Patrick sees Zainab and tells her not to worry about the shopping payment as he's just won on the horses. He tells her that he's going away for a while and offers her his shifts at the shop. Heather wonders what this means for her, but Patrick assures her that she's his best worker. Heather misunderstands and rushes off excited, thinking that she'll be left in charge at the shop.
Meanwhile, Jay and Jack have a sparring session at the boxing ring but Jack gets too aggressive and accidentally hits Jay in the face. Michael and Jack then have an argument and Jack squares up to him before storming off. Later, Michael visits Alfie at The Vic and explains that he's concerned about Jack's behaviour. Alfie later goes to see Jack at the boxing ring and opens up about his own period of grieving. Jack then allows his own grief to show at last.
Elsewhere, Whitney agrees to move back into Pat's house following some encouragement from Dot and Carol; Ben hides the fact that he's being bullied; Heather is thrilled to get an online message from Kevin and won't be put off by Shirley's warnings; and Jay is amused when he catches Ben on his laptop and discovers that he is Heather's internet 'lover'.
