HOLLYWOOD babe JENNIFER GARNER has landed the role of ageing crimefighter Miss Marple - at just 38.
Disney bosses wants to "reboot" the character, making her an attractive 30-something sleuth.
And the movie - scripted by Twin Peaks writer MARK FROST - will be set in modern America rather than the quiet English village of St Mary Mead, where the Agatha Christie character lives.
Elektra star Jennifer is the American wife of actor BEN AFFLECK.
The latest Miss Marple to appear on British TV screens was played by JULIA McKENZIE, who was 67 when she took the role in 2008.

Sadly I don't think this will be anything like the Miss Marple films we have seen with Margaret Rutherford or Joan Hickson or Julia McKenzie :(
