Me too. This would be a terrible way to get rid of Eddie.

I did think his leaving was related to Gary's PTSD

Monday 11th 7-30pm

It's the day that Steve and Becky plan to up sticks and leave, and also the day that Jim needs to come up with the cash. However, when Kevin declines his offer to invest in the pub, it looks like the game is up for Jim.

As Becky collects Amy from school with Max and heads to the airport, Steve waits for Jim to get back from the bank. However, Jim has resorted to desperate measures at the bank - pulling out a gun and threatening the cashier to hand over a fortune…

Meanwhile, when Audrey walks in on Gail and Nick rowing, they're forced to confess to their underhand tactics. Audrey's appalled by Gail's bribe but Gail's unrepentant, arguing that Kylie took the money, proving she's a gold-digger.

Elsewhere, Maria misses the deadline for Frank's order and she's forced to re-negotiate the deal, providing a big shock for Carla when she arrives back at Underworld; Anna and Eddie continue to row which provokes a shocking reaction from Faye; and Roy's mother Sylvie arrives on the street

8-30pm

Steve's nerves are shredded as he waits in the pub with Liz and his solicitor. However, Jim fails to show and it's the police who come calling instead. Liz is shattered as she hears what's happened to Jim. Will Steve and Becky still make their escape or has their plan been rumbled?

At the same time, Tracy's been to school to pick Amy up, where she was told she left early with Becky. Is Tracy on to them?

Meanwhile, David walks in on Audrey, Gail and Nick rowing about the bribe and demands to know what's going on. Will Gail come clean? Later, Gail and Kylie face off again.

Elsewhere, as Carla attempts to sort out Maria's mess, she's forced to undermine her in front of Frank. As the two women row, resentments resurface - leaving Carla wondering if the factory is the wrong place for Maria.

Also today, Anna and Eddie row about how to deal with Faye's lies; and Hayley tries to play peacemaker as Sylvie tells Roy that she doesn't understand why he didn't go to her husband's funeral.

Thursday 14th

As Liz faces up to the awful truth of what Jim has done, it's clear that the McDonalds will have to spend the rest of their lives living with the consequences of their actions.

Tracy's on to Steve, while Liz's dream of running the pub with Jim at her side is over. Liz soon comes to the realisation that it's time for her to leave The Rovers for good.

Meanwhile, with Carla unrepentant, Maria's at breaking point and when she sees Tracy and Frank laughing in The Rovers, she finally snaps and loses her temper.

Elsewhere, Katy and Chesney start to row as money gets tight; and Kevin's shocked when Sally reveals her plans for the car he bought her.

Friday 15th 7-30pm

As Carla and Frank meet to discuss business, Maria stews. Frank has a proposition for Carla and, after a productive afternoon of talks at Nick's bistro, they breeze back in with an announcement to make about Underworld.

Meanwhile, Steve is gutted as he opens a letter from Liz. He then meets with his solicitor, causing Tracy's antennae to prick up. As she tackles Steve as to why he's been consulting a solicitor, she guesses it's about Amy. Will Steve come clean?

Meanwhile, as an exhausted Katy returns to school, she's desperate to make up with Chesney. Back at home, she gets dressed up and sets the table for two, determined to make the evening a special one.

Elsewhere, Tommy's back after a bust-up with the Hortons and asks Tyrone if he can take up his offer of the spare room. But did Ty ever make that offer?

8-30pm

Maria's reeling from Carla's revelation and demands to know why she made this decision behind her back. Carla confesses that she didn't plan it but points out Maria's only an assistant.

Carla's ready to get down to business with Frank and tells Maria that it's time to put what happened behind her, adding that maybe she did lead him on. Maria's horrified, but can she let it go for the sake of business?

Meanwhile, when Ches sees the takeaway, he rants at Katy for wasting money and storms out. Returning later, he finds Katy in tears but as they kiss and make up, she reveals she has something to say which will change everything…

Elsewhere, Kevin's forced to watch Tyrone playing best mates with Tommy, and Sally treating her mates to drink in the pub with his money. He thinks things couldn't get much worse, but they could as a court official enters The Rovers!

Also today, when Tracy discovers Amy's passport is missing, she confronts Steve - now convinced he was planning to snatch Amy. Has Steve got another move?

Let's hope the writers do a U turn pretty soon and bring back Eddie in the not to distant future.
