One article says they crash happens when Max and Abbie are on the way to pick up the bridesmaid's dresses, another spoiler says Tanya hears about the accident shortly after tying the know with Greg, so maybe they get married without Max and Abbie being there??

EastEnders' Tanya Branning is left reeling later this month as Max makes a startling declaration to her on the day of her wedding.

In the run-up to Tanya's special day, Max grows increasingly frustrated over her impending nuptials, appearing jealous as he wonders what she sees in her fiancé Greg.

On the day of the wedding, Max arrives at Tanya's on the warpath as he caught Abi and Jay lying in bed together the previous night. Although nothing happened between the pair, he fears the worst and is desperate to speak to his daughter about it.

However, Tanya tries to stop Max from seeing Abi, telling him that he can have the conversation with her instead. As tempers become frayed, Max turns the topic of the discussion to Tanya's love life - asking why she is really marrying Greg.

Max then tells Tanya that it should be him standing next to her at the church instead of Greg. How will she react to his surprising comments? Does she still have feelings for him, and will she go through with the wedding?

DESPERATE Max Branning turns up on the morning of his ex-wife’s wedding in a bid to stop her marrying toyboy lover Greg Jessop.

He certainly gives Tanya something to think about as he tells her it should be him standing with her at the altar.

But with Max’s long history of cheating the bubbly blonde knows she’d be a fool to ruin her future with hunky handyman Greg.

Like most Walford weddings, things go from bad to worse for the blushing bride when youngest daughter Abi refuses to wear her bridesmaid’s dress.

She then disappears and Tanya is forced to head down to the church without her.

Max manages to put his own feelings for Tanya aside and agrees to make sure Abi gets to the service on time.

An EastEnders insider said: “Max is gutted at the thought of losing Tanya forever and he isn’t sure that he can watch her marry another man.

“He knows that his actions led to their divorce but he’d always hoped that one day they would end up back together.

“Tanya is completely shocked when he confesses how he feels and the part of her that will always love him agrees to listen.

“Her mum and sister try to get rid of him but Tanya tells them to give them a moment together.

“It’s at that point that she tells him she will be marrying Greg and there is nothing he can do about it.

“But viewers will realise she still has strong feelings for Max and will have to wait and see what she does when she turns up at the church.”

Followers of the BBC1 soap will be able to watch all of the wedding day drama as Max tries to talk Tanya out of marrying Greg a week on Thursday.

EastEnders fans can expect a week of high drama next week as Tanya and Greg's wedding day arrives, Max has his car crash and the baby swap storyline reaches its climax with Ronnie coming to her senses at last.

The long-awaited moments have all been at the centre of much press speculation for some time, but all of the official details and episodic pictures can now be found in the latest updates to our EastEnders spoiler section.

As revealed on Sunday, Max is set to throw a spanner in the works on the morning of Tanya's wedding day when he tells his ex-wife that he should be standing next to her at the church instead of Greg. Tanya rejects her former partner, but does she still have feelings for him and will she go through with the wedding?

Meanwhile, when Max crashes his car into a lorry while taking Abi to the ceremony, how serious will their injuries be and how will this affect things for a distraught Tanya?

Adding some further drama to the mix, Ronnie finally starts to realise the enormity of her decision to steal Kat's baby while visiting Max in hospital - the same place where she gave birth to James in December. As the pressure gets too much, the troubled blonde tells Jack that the baby is not his and it's time that she put things right. As she heads purposefully back to The Vic, what does she have in mind?

Mon 11th

After coming face-to-face with Whitney outside the police station, Lauren has brought her back to the Square. While Whitney is upstairs, Lauren calls Ricky and tells him to come to her house as soon as possible. When Ricky arrives, Whitney shies away from him as he tries to hug her. She eventually agrees to go home with him, but when she bumps into Carol, it becomes clear that the troubled teenager hasn't forgiven her over Connor. Tiffany later arrives home and after spotting Whitney's jacket she rushes upstairs to hug her. This is the first time that Whitney doesn't seem troubled by physical contact. Later, Whitney feels overwhelmed by Ricky and Pat fussing over her and pays a visit to Dot's in tears. A kindly Dot then agrees to make up the spare room for Whitney.

Meanwhile, Masood's financial problems get worse as Phil refuses to increase his loan because he's already behind by two payments. In the café, Dot informs Ian of how the Masood family are struggling and warns him that he should protect his assets before their empire crumbles. Taking advantage of the situation, Ian makes Zainab an insulting offer for her share in Masala Queen, adding that he will also drop his compensation claim if she goes along with his idea. Zainab is forced to agree, but her frustration gets the better of her and she heads over to The Arches to confront Phil. After the pair insult each other, Zainab is shocked as Phil tells her exactly how much Masood owes him. Phil then taunts Zainab by saying that he'd changed his mind about refusing the extra loan until she came around, before whipping out and ripping up a £2,000 cheque that he'd written out for Masood.

Elsewhere, Jane knocks at Tanya and Greg's as the pair are enjoying a passionate moment. Greg tells Tanya to ignore her, but when Jane spots Lauren and Abi outside, she asks to borrow their keys and lets herself in. Tanya and Greg have to rush to get dressed upstairs, and Greg is annoyed to be spending another evening with Jane. Soon afterwards, Zainab arrives asking Greg about when he can start work on the restaurant. When Greg insists that the Masoods need to settle their account first, Zainab begs for more time. Before the situation can be sorted out, Tanya's mum Cora turns up unexpectedly. Greg then leaves Tanya stunned by revealing that he'd invited her as a surprise.

Elsewhere, Ronnie has a heart-to-heart with Dot and asks her whether God forgives all sins; Ben sees that Heather is disappointed after not hearing from her online date so decides to order her some flowers under the name "Kevin68"; and when Jay starts playing hard to get, Abi fears that he wants someone older and decides to fix the situation by reluctantly telling him to visit hers after work tomorrow so they can sleep together.

12th

It's the day before Tanya and Greg's wedding and the pair are preparing for their stag and hen celebrations. Amid some last-minute wedding stress, Tanya soon has something else to worry about when she discovers that Cora has invited Rainie. Tanya isn't impressed by the news but Rainie insists that she's clean and Cora stresses the importance of having the whole family together on Tanya's special day. Later, Ian arrives for Greg's stag night and suggests that they go to a lap-dancing bar, but they end up going to The Vic instead and meet Greg's other friends there. Max also turns up at the pub following encouragement from Vanessa and the girls, but he refuses to get into the spirit of the occasion and tells Jack that he doesn't understand what Tanya sees in Greg.

Tanya's hen night is at the R&R, where Ronnie has agreed to help out in a bid to stop Jack worrying about her. Later, Kim, Kat and Mo all decide to gate-crash the hen night. While at the club, Kat confronts Ronnie and asks why she's always so unhappy when she has such a lovely baby. Kat adds that Ronnie doesn't know how lucky she is and confesses that when Tommy first died, she wished it had been James who passed away instead. Unsettled and upset, Ronnie clocks off early and finds Michael in the Square. Once again, he asks why she always behaves so strangely around him, before accusing her of playing hard to get. Michael then kisses Ronnie before walking away, leaving her shaken.

Back at the club, Tanya has drunk too much and accuses Jane of lusting over Greg. After Tanya declares that Jane should get her own man, Jane storms out and tells her friend to get a new matron of honour. When Jane gets home, Greg is there as he's just dropped Ian off. Jane tells Greg that Tanya doesn't know how lucky she is, before taking things a step further by trying to kiss him. A shocked Greg pushes her away as Jane tearfully apologises for her mistake.

Meanwhile, when Max arrives home he is shocked to find Abi and Jay in bed together. Both have decided to just cuddle together as they're too nervous to sleep together, but Max assumes the worst, drags Jay out of the bed and pins him against the wall. After Jay makes an escape from Max's clutches, a furious Abi grabs her bridesmaid dress and storms out, deciding to stay with her mum. As Max runs after her, he grabs and accidentally rips the sleeve of the dress. This provokes an angry response from Abi, who screams at Max on the street. Later, Lauren tells Max that she knows he can't stand to see Tanya happy. She asks him to promise not to ruin the day tomorrow, but Max says that he can't do that…

Also today, Whitney feels bored as she spends an evening playing board games with Dot and Lauren.

14th

Tanya's wedding day gets off to a tense start as Max arrives at her house and demands to speak to Abi. Tanya insists that he should speak to her instead and they argue as Max tries to explain about Abi's relationship with Jay. Max then asks Tanya why she is really marrying Greg, adding that it should be him standing next to her at the church instead. At that moment, Greg arrives and tries to get rid of Max. Max promises to replace Abi's damaged dress to make it up to Tanya, so Tanya tells him to make sure he drops Abi off at the church on time but makes it clear that he's no longer welcome at the ceremony. However, there's a flicker of doubt on her face as he leaves.

Later, Tanya leaves for the wedding with Jane travelling in the same car as her. Tanya apologises for what she said to Jane the previous night, but receives a shock when Jane admits that she made a pass at Greg. Once they arrive at the church, Tanya is concerned as Abi is running late. When Jane asks whether Tanya forgives her, Tanya is distracted by thoughts of Max and Abi and says that she does. As time goes by and Abi still hasn't arrived, Greg tells Tanya that they should go ahead as Max is just trying to spoil the day by delaying Abi's arrival. Tanya then agrees to begin the ceremony.

In Max's car, Abi argues with her father over her relationship with Jay. As she complains that she won't get to the wedding on time, Max puts his foot down to speed up. Abi tells Max that she thinks he's just trying to ruin Tanya's day, before telling him sympathetically that he has to accept that she's now moved on. As Max reaches out to his daughter, disaster strikes as a woman steps out to cross the road. Max tries to avoid her, but in doing so, he ploughs into an incoming lorry. Will Max make it out alive? And will Tanya set aside her unresolved feelings for Max and marry Greg?

Meanwhile, attending the wedding, Michael approaches Ronnie and asks whether she fancies him. When Ronnie replies that she finds him repulsive, Michael threatens to tell Jack about their kiss. After watching the pair's encounter, Jack approaches Ronnie but she insists there isn't a problem. He later speaks to Michael, who claims that Ronnie kissed him. With the pressure getting too much, Ronnie looks for some time alone but Kat joins her and apologises for what she said the day before. Ronnie also apologises, but Kat doesn't understand why. The pair are then interrupted by Jack, who tells Ronnie that he needs to know what's going on with Michael. Demanding the truth, Jack says that Ronnie isn't the woman he married. It's clear that Ronnie's world is crumbling around her - what will she do?

Also today, Lydia has a frosty reunion with Pat before later offending Ricky and Carol by making disparaging remarks about their family; while Janine is shocked to see that Whitney is back in Walford.

15th

Lauren makes a phone call to Abi, but a woman answers the phone and tells her about the accident. A shocked Lauren then relays the news to Tanya, who is distraught and rushes to find Jack, telling him that they need to get to the hospital immediately. Jack tells Ronnie to come with him as they still need to talk. Once they all arrive at the hospital, Tanya goes off to find Max and Abi in a panic, while Ronnie is unnerved to be in the same hospital where she gave birth to James. Her behaviour is becoming increasingly manic, but Jack fails to notice as he is too distracted by his brother's accident.

When Ronnie heads off to the canteen, she sees a sign for the maternity ward and follows it. Ronnie then heads into the delivery suite where James was born and breaks down as she finds the cot that James was once in. At the same time, Tanya finds Abi and comforts her. She then tells her mum that she doesn't know if Max has survived the crash because he was taken away. She then heads off to find out whether Max is okay…

Leaving the delivery room, Ronnie sees the midwife who delivered James and becomes even more emotional. Looking down at Kat's baby in her arms, she makes a decision and heads for the hospital exit. When a confused Jack follows her, Ronnie tells him that she is going to put everything right. As he pushes her for the truth, Ronnie finally confesses that she has been lying to him and that the baby is not his son. Worried about his wife's state of mind, Jack doesn't believe her and wants to return to the Square with her. However, Ronnie drives off before he can join her in the car.

As Ronnie arrives back at the Square, the wedding reception has started in The Vic. After pulling up, Ronnie tells Tommy how much she loves him before cradling him, knowing that it will be the final time she does so. She then heads inside The Vic…

The week that EastEnders fans have been waiting for kicks off this evening as a series of long-awaited moments finally arrive in explosive episodes that will change life in Walford forever.

From the baby swap reveal, Tanya and Greg's will-they-won't-they wedding, Max and Abi's car crash and Whitney's return to Albert Square, the rumour mill has been sent into overdrive by these episodes in recent weeks and expectations are high.

Here, Soap Scoop provides a one-stop guide to the week ahead with a full roundup of what we know, what we don't and where our Albert Square favourites go from here…

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ronnie, Kat and baby Tommy
Few EastEnders storylines have divided opinion as much as the baby swap saga, but the moment that Kat gets her beloved son Tommy back is likely to be a crowd-puller and looks set to be a scene that will go down in the soap's history. The reveal episodes were filmed at the beginning of March, and we'll see the story reach its climax this Friday.

It's now known that this week will see the pressure on Ronnie become too much to bear. There's a build-up of fresh troubles for her over the next few days, including some awkward conversations with Kat. But as first reported several weeks ago, it's Max and Abi's car crash that spurs Ronnie on to do the right thing as she's forced to spend time in the same hospital where she gave birth to James and is reminded of what she's lost.

In a recent interview with Inside Soap, Samantha Womack - who plays Ronnie - said of the hospital scenes: "She blurts out that James isn't Jack's son, but he doesn't believe her and thinks that her depression is making her say it. He's really worried and insists on returning to Albert Square with her, but Ronnie drives off without him."

We know that after arriving back on the Square, Ronnie will head into the Queen Vic ready to do the right thing at last. It's the moment that we've all been waiting for as the truth is revealed, but exact details of what happens inside are being kept under wraps.

As for what happens once Kat gets the baby back, unconfirmed reports have suggested that Ronnie will hand herself over to police and spend time in prison before being released on bail on the day of Tommy's christening. As for the Moons, it's been reported that Kat will initially struggle to bond with Tommy, while Jessie Wallace recently told All About Soap that "it's definitely not going to be easy for Kat and Alfie".

On a lighter note, Kat's father Charlie will be returning briefly later this month to tie up the loose ends of the storyline as the pair have a heartwarming reunion. But Ronnie's ultimate fate remains unknown and it looks like the drama is far from over…

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tanya, Greg, Max and the car crash
Things have been fairly quiet for Tanya since she returned to the soap with Greg in tow last year, so fans of Jo Joyner will no doubt be glad to see her taking centre stage this week. However, from the teasers that have emerged about the next few episodes, it looks like this week could be just as much about Tanya and Max as it is about Tanya and Greg…

It's been known for a while that Max has a car crash while taking Abi to the wedding, and the dramatic scenes were filmed last month - showing Max's car ploughing into a lorry as disaster strikes on the road. EastEnders' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood recently teased that the accident would have a long-lasting impact on the lives of Max, Tanya, Greg and Vanessa, but what those consequences will be is currently unclear.

Other confirmed details have revealed that Tanya will flee her wedding after hearing about the crash, but whether she has said her vows at that point is unknown. At the hospital, she goes looking for Max - but will he be okay? Will she stay with Greg? And is she a married woman again?

Whatever the outcome, Jo Joyner recently admitted that Tanya still has feelings for Max and expressed fears that she could be setting Greg up for heartbreak.

She said: "Tanya shouldn't mess Greg about. She needs to either live with Max, knowing she'll never be the only woman in his life, or stay on her own with her three kids. People stop me to ask if I think the marriage will be a disaster and I tell them, 'Greg sees her in her dress before the ceremony, she's late to the church, it rains and they live in Walford'. It's not looking good for Tanya, is it?"

Tanya and Max have been firmly established as a couple who can't live with each other but can't live without each other, so we can't help but feel that there's heartbreak in store for Greg. Whether that will happen sooner or later remains to be seen…

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whitney's return
'Where's Whitney?' was the question on the lips of many fans when she disappeared after EastEnders' excellent Comic Relief episode, and on Friday we finally saw the troubled teenager back on screen as Lauren was reunited with her outside the police station.

Tonight, we'll see that Lauren has brought Whitney back to the Square but being reunited with the likes of Carol, Ricky and Pat proves an awkward experience and her only relaxed interactions are with little Tiffany, who's thrilled to see her back.

Eventually, Whitney starts to feel suffocated with everyone fussing over her at Pat's, so she seeks refuge at Dot's and decides to stay there for a while. Where she's been and what she's been up to remains mysterious, but it's clear that there won't be a quick happy ending as she's still struggling to cope with her ordeal.

Shona McGarty - who plays Whitney - recently told the Sunday Mirror: "This is going to be a continuing storyline - it's not just going to be brushed under the carpet. Whitney will live in fear that Rob and his gang are going to come after her… That's what these people do. They don't just leave you to get on with your life. In their mind they own you."

With so much drama in store for Ronnie, Kat and Tanya this week, Whitney won't have a huge amount of screen time after tonight's episode but we'll see Janine discover that she's back on Thursday and the storyline is explored further next week.
