Neighbours star Valentina Novakovic has revealed details of the moment that her character's baby lie is exposed on the soap.

The actress's troublesome alter ego Natasha Williams has recently schemed against her cheating boyfriend Andrew Robinson (Jordan Smith) by claiming that she is pregnant with his child. She did so in a desperate attempt to stop him from dumping her in favour of Summer Hoyland (Jordy Lucas).

However, in scenes due to air in Australia next week, Summer will finally discover the truth and share the news with Andrew - as well as Natasha's father Michael.

Speaking of the drama in store, Novakovic told TV Week: "Summer knows Tash has gone way too far this time and so she announces it when Andrew and Michael are both there. Tash is thrown into the spotlight and it's a really big shock for her.

"Andrew's been trying to be an awesome father and has dedicated a lot to this pregnancy, so for him to find out it's fake is really hard. Michael is also very upset and starts to blame himself for what she's done and all the lies she's told."

Asked whether this paves the way for Summer and Andrew to get together, Novakovic replied: "They could've been together all this time - they didn't need to lie to Tash. Summer and Andrew like chasing each other, but I think if Tash settles down, then that might give them some room to be together."

The plot twist will hit UK screens in a few weeks' time.
