Hollyoaks bosses have announced that a forthcoming edition of the soap will feature a tie-in with Heat magazine.
In an episode due to air later this month, the soap's characters will be excited to learn that the publication's team are paying a visit to the village because they want Riley Costello (Rob Norbury) to appear as their 'Torso of the Week'.
While Riley's mum Heidi is thrilled to learn of her son's modelling success, the footballer has other things on his mind - meaning that Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is lined up to take his place. However, the magazine's team soon spot another local resident who they think would work perfectly.
Meanwhile, Chez Chez owner Cheryl Brady (Bronagh Waugh) offers up her nightclub as the ideal location for the photoshoot, prompting her brother Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) to come up with his own cunning way of making some money.
Brendan's sneaky brainwave involves his client Mitzeee Minniver (Rachel Shenton), but whether she will play along with his plans remains to be seen.
The episode in question will feature cameo appearances from entertainment photographer Nicky Johnston and Heat's shopping editor Gilly Ferguson.
Meanwhile, all of the Heat scenes were penned by the magazine's acting editor Lucie Cave and deputy editor Jeremy Mark, in conjunction with regular Hollyoaks writer Andy Rattenburg.
Hollyoaks' one-off Heat-centric episode airs on Friday, March 18 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
