Sian returns from holiday in a week's time, but things between her and Sophie fail to improve.

When she arrives back, Sian leaves Sophie crushed by announcing that she's moving back to her mother's. The situation gets worse when Sophie gets jealous about the fact that Sian made friends with another girl during her time away.

A row then brews between the pair - forming part of the build-up to Sophie's roof fall horror, which airs early next month as her personal problems reach crisis point.

Tina comes up with a shocking plan

Graeme discusses setting Xin up with one of his mates so they can get married quickly and she can stay in the country. However, Tina fears that there isn't time for that - they don't have long left.

Later, Tina is furious to hear that Kylie is brokering a deal for Xin to marry David in exchange for £2,000. Desperate for Xin not to get involved with the twisted pair, Tina comes up with a plan of her own…

Meanwhile, Kylie's expecting a job in David's salon, but when Audrey reveals there's no position for her, it becomes clear he's exaggerated his part in the business. Later, Audrey's horrified when one of her elderly clients dies under the drier while she's busy gossiping with Claudia.

Elsewhere, Maria flees to The Rovers when she hears Frank's coming to check on the new order; Sophie's nervous when Sian calls to say she's on her way home; and Mary gives Norris a birthday surprise.

Xin's overwhelmed by Graeme's offer to marry her but Graeme worries, feeling Tina put him under pressure. Back at the flat, Graeme admits he can't go through with it and Tina agrees to tell Xin. But is this the end of the matter?

Meanwhile, Audrey's shaken as the dead body is removed from the salon. She starts to reflect on her own age and reaches a decision that will send shockwaves through the Platt family.

Elsewhere, Frank realises Maria's avoiding him and broaches the subject with Carla. Carla asks Maria to draw a line under what happened for the sake of business. But will Maria be able to forgive and forget?

Also, David questions whether Kylie wants to marry him at all after she offered him to Xin, and Sophie is deflated when Sian announces that she's going back to her mum's.


Tina and Graeme stage a public break-up

Locals are shocked as Tina and Graeme stage a public break-up in The Rovers.

Meanwhile, Sian's disappointed to hear that Sophie's been expelled from college and accuses her of throwing her life away. The relationship is further rocked when Sophie sees Sian's holiday snaps.

Elsewhere, Fiz is delighted to hear Hope is now well enough to come home but also terrified as she sets about preparing the house.

Also today, Audrey worries as Kylie makes plans for the salon but Kylie has an even more surprising revelation up her sleeve.



Sophie falls from the church roof

Sophie's feeling low after her row with Sian, but her family are too caught up in their own problems to notice. Sunita later finds her drunk and urges her to go home.

Instead, however, Sophie makes her way to the church brimming with anger. An encounter with the pastor then leaves Sophie's life hanging in the balance as she falls from the church roof…

Meanwhile, Graeme's desperate to make up with Tina but he's thwarted at every turn.

Elsewhere, there's a welcoming committee on the street as Fiz brings Hope home; Chesney's stunned when Katy tells him she'd love to be a young mum; Claudia and Audrey wonder if Marc is hiding something; Eddie makes a mistake by washing Faye's blanket; and David and Kylie stumble on a dark secret.


The Websters wait for news on Sophie

Sophie lies unconscious and the Websters are united in fear as they race to the hospital. It's a horrible revelation for Sally and Kevin as they learn the effect of their squabbles. As they wait at her bedside, will Sophie pull through?

Meanwhile, Tina and Graeme are forced to beg David and Kylie to keep quiet about their arrangement with Xin. Will they agree?

Elsewhere, Fiz is obsessed with guarding Hope from infection and tells a gutted Chesney that Schmeichel will have to go.

Also, Claudia's gutted as she and Audrey spot a woman at Marc's house, and Anna fears that Eddie has ruined everything when an upset Faye leaves with the social worker.
