Cant say Im really surprised. Disappointed but not surprised. I have two cousins who live in Bahrain and I havent heard from them since this all started

I hope that your cousins, and all other innocent people caught up in the violence are okay. I cannot bear hearing about peaceful demonstrators being shot and all the other horrific things on the news at the moment. We really do not appreciate how lucky we are in life.

I have heard from my cousin tonight. They are both safe and well. They do not live too close to Pearl Square and they tell me that all the trouble was confined to there. Apparently the demonstrators have now turned parts of it into a tented Ghetto and its really filthy.

They like the vast majority of Bharainis are disgusted that the GP has been cancelled

Glad to know that your cousins are safe Alan. I like everyone else am gutted that GP has been cancelled but it was the safest solution, maybe it can be re-sceduled for later in the year.
