Eastenders Spoilers Week 8 (21 - 25th Feb)

Monday 21 February
The new B&B opens as Denise struggles to put the past behind her, in the week's first visit to Albert Square.

Meanwhile, Alfie comes up with a plan to try to impress Kat.

Elsewhere, Shirley tries to persuade Heather that George would be better off with her; and when Whitney tries to reconnect with her family at Ricky's birthday, Janine ruins it for her.

Tuesday 22 February
Roxy hires Tanya as the new manager of the beauty salon and Janine tries to make up with Whitney, as life in Walford continues.

Zainab, meanwhile, is horrified to discover that Dr Yusef Khan has moved into the Square.


Thursday 24 February
Patrick puts himself in charge of getting Alfie and Kat back together in tonight's visit to Walford.

Meanwhile, Whitney tries to kiss Max and Yusef tries to find out who has been spreading rumours about him.

Patrick is played by Rudolph Walker, Alfie by Shane Richie, Kat by Jessie Wallace, Whitney by Shona McGarty and Yusef by Ace Bhatti.

Friday 25 February
Heather and Julie bond while talking about their children, in today's visit to the Square.

Masood is shocked to discover how much Afia's engagement ring is going to cost.

Heather and Shirley's friendship hits another rocky patch next week when Heather accuses Shirley of choosing Phil over her.

However, in the aftermath of Heather's dramatic health scare, Shirley realises that her best mate needs some perking up and recruits her to help with her wedding plans.

After arranging for the Walford mum to have the day off at the launderette and the shop, Shirley asks Heather to help her choose a wedding dress and also pick out a bridesmaid dress for herself.

Later, as the drink flows, the pair's friendship seems to be back on track as they sit and put the world to rights - while still wearing their dresses!

21st Feb

It's the day of Kim's B&B opening and she feels excited about launching the business. However, Kimberley's Palace opens to mixed reviews and there's a mystery afoot when a male stranger keeps asking the guests questions. It soon transpires that he's from the press, so Denise, Shirley and Patrick all band together to throw him out. Unsurprisingly, it's a difficult day for Denise because she's struggling to block out memories of Lucas, and she soon breaks down in front of Zainab - admitting that she fears she'll always choose the wrong type of man.

Unfortunately for Kim, the only four guests who have booked into the B&B cancel when they realise they're not staying in an actual palace. However, things look up for Kim when she receives a call from a potential guest who is a doctor and wants to stay for a month. Zainab and Denise head out together and when they return to the B&B, the new guest is already there. Zainab is then stunned as she discovers that he's none other than Dr. Yusef Khan…


Meanwhile, Heather and Darren are both struggling. Heather is missing George, while Darren is finding it difficult to juggle his parental responsibilities with his full-time job. Shirley tries to convince Heather that George is better off with her than with Darren, and events take a new twist when Darren gets a call from George's nursery and asks for Heather's help. It seems that Heather may be reluctant to give George back to Darren again, but she eventually decides that it's for the best.

Elsewhere, Alfie tries to win back Kat's affections by deluging The Vic with extra custom, hoping that Kat will struggle behind the bar and be wooed when he steps in to help. Will the scheme work?

Also today, Janine decides to throw a surprise birthday party for Ricky and steals food for the bash from the B&B opening. However, Whitney sparks a big argument with Janine by taking over the baking of the birthday cake, causing Janine to feel left out. Following the row, Whitney ends up storming out - leaving Ricky shocked and bemused.

22nd Feb

Janine tries to make things up with Whitney following their row. Whitney then reminds Janine that they need to pay the rent but have no money. Janine vows to deal with the situation and while she is out, the landlord pays a visit to the flat and issues Whitney with a final rent demand for £800, which needs to be paid within 24 hours. Janine, meanwhile, seizes the opportunity to bag some cash when Dr. Yusef comes into the café. After pretending to faint, she bides her time as Yusef checks her over before stealing his wallet. However, it's still not enough to pay the rent, so Whitney has to sell some jewellery on the market for £20.


Later, Ricky tells Janine that he's concerned about Whitney and fears she's not coping. However, Janine assures Ricky that she's keeping her promise to look after Whitney. Soon afterwards, Whitney tries to pickpocket a man but her attempt goes wrong. Fortunately, a mysterious stranger called Rob comes to her rescue. Whitney is clearly interested in Rob and, after he drops her back at the Square, it seems that she would like to see him again.

Meanwhile, Roxy is furious when she discovers that Jodie has overslept and failed to open the salon. Later, she pays a visit to the salon to find it empty and Kim nowhere to be seen. Glenda reminds Roxy that the business is now hers to do what she wants with, and this encourages Roxy to find a new manager for the salon - Tanya. Tanya then fires Kim on the spot.


Elsewhere, Shirley is reluctant to make a move on her wedding plans but decides to do so for Heather's sake, realising that her friend needs some perking up. Shirley arranges for Heather to get the day off from the launderette and the shop and asks her to choose a wedding dress and a bridesmaid dress for herself. The pair then knock back some drinks and put the world to rights.

Also today, Zainab confronts Yusef about why he's in the Square, and he explains that he wants to be close to Afia and Tam. However, this doesn't impress Zainab, who wants him gone.

24th Feb

Whitney receives a text message from Rob, who wants to know if she's okay. However, she's distracted when Max offers her a job - he wants her to mind the phones while he's busy with a client. Max is pleased with Whitney's work and gives her £20 for helping him. Janine is having less luck, however, and after being thrown out of The Vic she isn't in the mood to hear about Whitney's good fortune and flies into a rage.

Later, Max and Whitney share a battle of wine together. Suddenly, Whitney throws herself on Max and he tries to push her away. At that moment, Lauren enters the room and she drags Whitney off a shocked Max…


Meanwhile, Kat doesn't know where Alfie is but is too stubborn to go looking for him. Patrick soon decides that he wants to get the couple back together. Later, Alfie enters the pub with Patrick and Kim and is feeling confident that he can finally win Kat back. However, he's left disappointed when she shoots him down.

Elsewhere, some rumours seem to be making people avoid Yusef's surgery and he begins to wonder who could be responsible. When Denise exposes Dot as the guilty party, he heads off to confront her - hoping that he can put an end to the shenanigans. He also has a confrontation with Zainab when she asks how long he intends to stay in the area. Yusef explains to her that he'll be staying forever and she'll have to get used to it.

Also today, Lauren has a movie day with Fatboy, Mercy and Seb - her friend from college. However, things get complicated when Lauren and Mercy are both interested in Seb, while Fatboy is still hoping for a romance with Mercy.

25th Feb

Lauren wants nothing to do with Max after witnessing his encounter with Whitney, despite his protestations that it was Whitney who came onto him. Tanya tells Max that Lauren and Abi will be living with her from now on, so Max storms round to Whitney's flat to demand she tells the truth. However, Whitney is hiding in her room and once Max has gone, Janine informs her housemate to lie and insist it was Max who was to blame. Later, Rob surprises Whitney and takes her for a drink at The Vic. When Whitney explains everything that's happened with Max, Rob says that she should come and stay with him for a while. He even gives her a phone so that she can get in contact if she wants to take him up on the offer.

Later, Max drags Whitney to the salon to explain what really happened. When Carol sees Whitney using her new phone, she suspects that she has stolen it and confiscates it, but Whitney eventually gets it back. She then heads over to Max's to apologise to Lauren. Lauren won't listen so Whitney also sends an apology via text once she has left. Rob soon shows up again and Whitney finally agrees to stay with him, and they drive off together…


Meanwhile, Masood is furious to discover that Yusef is the new GP and asks Zainab why she didn't tell him last night. However, he calms down slightly when Zainab reassures him that only the two of them and Denise know about her history with Yusef. At the café, Yusef asks Tamwar and Afia about their engagement party but they vow to plan everything themselves. Afia, Tamwar, Yusef and Denise end up having lunch together but Masood is less than pleased when he stumbles upon the cosy gathering. Later, when Afia picks out an engagement ring, Tamwar informs his parents of her choice. At first, Masood insists that it's too expensive, but Zainab convinces him to pay up so they don't look cheap.

Elsewhere, Julie tells Heather about her son after Heather catches her stealing a birthday card for him from the Minute Mart. Heather decides not to tell Patrick about Julie's theft.
