Surely Leanne will cope on to what Nick is doing

Yes but I suspect half of her wants to be with Nick anyway

Rumours that Coronation Street superbitch Tracy Barlow will be pulling pints at the Rovers Return have been floating around for some time, but here's the first pictures showing that the reports are true.

In a fortnight's time, Tracy takes up her new position behind the bar and is thrilled to have the job - especially knowing that it's a triumph in her ongoing war with Becky, who's furious over the development.

A Weatherfield insider recently said: "Tracy is one of the most popular characters, the one we all love to hate, and so where better to put her than behind the bar at The Rovers?"

Will Tracy's new position be a permanent one? And how will the street's residents react to seeing their least favourite neighbour behind the bar?

Monday 31st 7-30pm

Fiz is downbeat as the reality of Hope's situation sinks in. Additionally, the financial pressure she is facing gets worse when the car packs in. Concerned, the factory staff have a whip round but it's a drop in the ocean and Fiz knows it.

John's also at rock bottom and shows no signs of being discharged soon. When a man knocks at the door revealing he's here about the death of Joy Fishwick it looks like the game is up.

Meanwhile, Peter apologises to Leanne for his recent behaviour and admits he's frustrated that he hasn't been able to consummate their marriage. His mood worsens when Dr Carter admits the nerve damage may be permanent. Alone, Peter battles his demons but when Carla catches him with a bag containing alcohol, she's aghast. Will Peter accept her help?

Elsewhere, the adoption panel tell the Windasses that they'll have to reassess their decision in light of Gary's arrest, and Claudia's having doubts about her relationship with Marc.

8-30pm

The solicitor tells Fiz that Colin Fishwick is the sole beneficiary of Joy's will. Fiz insists they're not interested, so the baffled solicitor leaves but gives them his card in case they change their minds.

At the hospital, Chesney explains to Fiz how he's going to help them keep their heads above water financially. Feeling guilty, Fiz confesses about the solicitor's visit and it seems the idea of inheriting the significant amount of money Joy has left behind might be starting to tempt her…

Meanwhile, as Carla questions Nick about Peter's drinking, Janice comes close to catching Peter on the booze - prompting him to tell her that she's outstayed her welcome. After another row, Leanne heads to the pub where she finds herself opening up to Nick. Watching on, Audrey realises Nick still has feelings for Leanne.

Elsewhere, Sally offers to pay Eddie to put off the potential house buyers; Claudia brings Marc to The Rovers but he seems to take a shine to Audrey; and Gary asks Izzy if he can move in with her.

Thursday 3rd Feb 8-30pm

As Fiz heads to the solicitor's to claim Joy's inheritance, she tries to convince herself she's doing it for Hope. Inside, Fiz is uneasy as the solicitor offers his condolences and explains that he represented Joy for 30 years.

As they go through the paperwork, will the solicitor stumble upon John's crime? And how will Fiz get out of attending Joy's funeral the next day?

Meanwhile, Peter hits the bottle again. Realising he's in a mess, Peter calls Nick - begging him to come and help sort him out before Leanne discovers what he's done. However, when Nick pretends he can't hear him, it's Carla that Peter calls next. Will Carla bury her feelings and help Peter save his marriage as Nick takes Leanne to the flat?

Elsewhere, Rosie suddenly takes an interest in baby Jack when she's offered an audition for a mother and baby photoshoot, and on the eve of her appeal, Tracy admits that she's scared of going back to prison.

Friday 4th 7-30pm

Peter wakes at Carla's while Leanne desperately tries to find him. As Carla kills all calls from work, she urges Peter to go home and tell Leanne the truth so he can get help.

Encouraged by Carla, Peter heads to his alcohol support group where he breaks down, admitting he's hit rock bottom. But Peter has been spotted leaving Carla's - will Leanne find out where her husband spent the night?

Meanwhile, Rosie takes baby Jack to the audition but when they get rejected she soon loses interest in her brother. Back home, Jason's left to tend to the crying baby - but he's aghast to realise they've brought the wrong child home. How will Kevin react to discover Rosie's lost Jack?

Elsewhere, Fiz attends Joy's funeral; Tracy's nervous as she heads back to court; Sian worries as Sophie skips college; and Audrey agrees to a date with Marc when he reveals Claudia dumped him.

8-30pm

Leanne confronts Carla, demanding to know why Peter spent the night at hers. Carla swears they didn't sleep together but doesn't give the real reason for Peter's stay, leaving Leanne seething with anger and worry. When Peter then arrives back she lays into him - but she's stunned when he reveals that he was hiding at Carla's because he was drunk.

As Peter breaks down revealing everything, Leanne becomes suspicious of Nick's involvement in his fall from the wagon and wonders if he did it to split them up. Picking up on this, Peter asks Leanne what she means. Will she confess to her affair with Nick?

Meanwhile, a furious Kevin heads back to the studio and retrieves Jack before seriously berating Rosie. At the Websters', Sian opens up to Sally about Sophie's recent sullen behaviour and the fact she seems to have given up on college. Sophie's furious and Sally has to referee a row between the girls.

Elsewhere, Tracy receives the verdict in court, and Fiz is emotionally drained after Joy's funeral.

Helen Flanagan has revealed that her Coronation Street character Rosie Webster will be "devastated" when her dad Kevin angrily vows to cut ties with her in a forthcoming storyline.

In next week's episodes, Rosie takes her half-brother Jack to an audition for a mother and baby photoshoot - but later makes a big mistake when she returns home with the wrong child.

Speaking to Inside Soap about the plotline, Flanagan explained: "It's not even a baby boy either! She brings a little girl home. When she realises what she's done, she's absolutely horrified. She starts panicking and ringing her agent, and doesn't really know what to do. Then Kevin comes over and goes mad."

She continued: "Kevin is absolutely seething and has a massive go at her when he finds out Jack's missing. He tells her that she's selfish and self-obsessed - and then he says that he doesn't want to talk to her anymore. Rosie's devastated."

Flanagan admitted that Rosie will behave badly in the build-up to the audition, desperate as ever to secure a lucrative deal.

The actress said: "It's terrible, because Rosie pretends to Kevin that she wants to get to know Jack better. But the truth is, she's lying because she needs to have a baby in order to win a modelling contract that pays really well. In reality, Rosie couldn't care less about Jack."

Fans will see the drama play out in episodes airing on February 3 and 4.

This is quite a serious storyline coming home with the wrong baby, but I think it may be a bit of a giggle. We all know how dippy Rosie is.
