So could Viv and Gennie be the victims?

Viv has to be one of the victims as she is leaving so I would think

I think so too, allowing for the storyline for Kelly to return

Coming up in Emmerdale, Cain's jealousy over Charity and Jai's business relationship is about to become ever stronger - leading to a heated confrontation.

When Charity receives a box of chocolates as a gift from a mysterious source, Cain wrongly assumes that Jai must have been responsible and he's left fuming.

The next day, after Jai drops Charity home following another busy day, Cain spots them sharing a goodnight kiss. However, when he confronts Charity over the matter, she's not amused and tells him to grow up as there's nothing going on.

Unable to stay calm, though, Cain secretly heads off to settle the matter with Jai - ordering him to stay away from Charity and making it clear that he's on his last warning…

Monday 17th

Henshall confirms that the police suspect the nuisance phone calls and burglary are linked to the arsonist. Zak blames himself for the fire, sure that it spread so quickly due to his stuff being outside the building.

Later, Henshall questions the villagers over who might be behind the arson and reminds his colleague that Andy has committed arson before.

Meanwhile, Cain returns from down south and is riled to see Charity and Jai enjoying each other's company. Debbie questions Charity, who confirms that the flirting is purely to wind Cain up. She needs to play Jai to ensure the job leads to bigger and better things, but has no intention of trading Cain in.

Elsewhere, Diane tells Doug she would like to meet the new woman in his life, but Doug is cagey, insisting that it's still early days.

Tues 18th

Henshall visits Andy at work and explains that the police need to question him at the station. Andy agrees, but it soon becomes apparent that he is a suspect.

Trying to conceal his anger, Andy explains that he was at home with Ryan when the fire started. Andy talks to Ryan who reassures him that he's got nothing to worry about and the police are just trying to rattle him.

Meanwhile, Ella can't resist commenting to Jai that he is unnecessarily hands-on when it comes to this latest project with Charity, but Jai insists that it's business only. Later, Charity opens a gift of chocolates from a secret admirer. Cain suspects they are from Jai and Charity doesn't correct him, even though she knows they're a thank-you gift from Jackson.

Elsewhere, Doug admits to Laurel that the woman in his life is Hilary, and Carl is annoyed when the police question him about the fire.

Wed 19th
Cain is riled when Charity and Jai want Aaron to drop work to help get Jackson up to the building site, so he can see his old mates.

Ella and Charity spend some time sussing each other out, but they get along and later Charity stays for dinner at Home Farm, dining with Declan, Ella, Jai and Nikhil while Cain is home alone babysitting.

At the end of the evening, Jai drops Charity home and Cain is livid to see Charity give him a goodnight kiss on the cheek. Charity tells him to grow up as it's just business, but Cain secretly storms into the pub and tells Jai to stay away. Cain makes it clear that he's on his last warning, but Jai shrugs off the threat.

Meanwhile, the villagers begin funeral arrangements for the victims of the fire, and Diane hides her disappointment after Doug confides that he is seeing Hilary.

Thurs 20th 1900

Diane tries to reassure Andy that not everyone believes the accusations he's facing, while Ryan tells Andy not to let the villagers stop him from showing his respects.

Andy agrees to go to the funeral with Ryan, but as the villagers file into the church, they're surprised to see him. As the coffin is carried in, Andy is met by angry mourners who demand that he should leave.

Meanwhile, Charity is furious to learn from Nikhil that Cain threatened Jai.

Later, Charity lays into Cain for putting her job at risk, warning him not to push her. Debbie berates their behaviour and Ryan is amused.

Thursday 20th 2000

After the funeral, Jai tries to talk to Cain but just succeeds in provoking him when he suggests that Cain can't stop Charity playing away if she wants to.

Meanwhile, Debbie goes to find Andy, who is furious about the way he's been treated - especially after he was the one who risked his life to save his neighbours from the fire.

Elsewhere, Lisa steams at Derek's popularity with the factory girls. Noticing Lisa's reaction, Zak realises something is up between her and Derek but dismisses it.

Friday 21st

Andy is gutted when he is asked to leave an event at Sarah's school because the other parents have objected. Worried about what the accusations are doing to his family and that Sarah will be caught in the crossfire, Andy resolves he can't stay in the village.

Debbie warns it will appear as though he's running away but Andy snaps that he can't take any more…

Meanwhile, Jackson feels renewed intimacy with Aaron when he gives him his physio massage. When Aaron tells Jackson that Adam's invited them to join him in town, Jackson declines but says Aaron should go. Aaron insists he doesn't want to, but Jackson feels he's holding him back.

Elsewhere, Jimmy and Nicola discuss having another baby, and Pollard and Val learn they have an appointment with social services regarding fostering Amy.
