Coronation Street's Kym Marsh, Michelle Keegan and Ryan Thomas have given an insight into their private lives, as the soap heads into its explosive anniversary week.
Speaking to the News of the World, the stars behind factory manager Michelle Connor, barmaid Tina McIntyre and builder Jason Grimshaw shared their perspectives on some of the rumours that have appeared in the press.
Marsh, who is expecting a child with Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas and was previously married to ex-EastEnders star Jack Ryder, dismissed rumours that she was due to marry, saying: "I only got divorced last year."
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Thomas, who dated former co-star and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Tina O'Brien and has been linked to Big Brother 7 housemate Imogen Thomas, defended rumours about his relationships, saying: "I'm single - why shouldn't I play the field?"
Finally, Keegan gave an insight into the pressures of constantly being in the public eye and known to a nation of soap lovers.
"When you have a drink you can't have too much in case you fall over," the 23-year-old said. "If we make mistakes, everyone knows about it.
"But it comes with the job and I wouldn't change it for anything."
