Captain Science shivered the timbers of his sluggish crew when he heard their feeble efforts at nautical singing this morning.
Housemates got up to sing the Captain their Yo Ho Pirate song, delivering as half-hearted an effort as a bunch of slack landlubbers could manage.
"You should be ashamed. That's not singing. Get off my boat. Get off Big Betty and think about the song," said the disappointed Captain.
The Pirates failed the task on the very first day with a string of misdemeanours. However they have still not been informed and so are still trying their not-very-good best to complete it.
Having fulfilled their morning duties, however poorly, the Housemates slumped back to the bedroom to rest after their exertions.
"We are the pirates of the sea... I'm going to memorise that song," said Anthony, on this the third day of the task. But Science said it wasn't just him, the whole House needed to make the effort.
It's not all rum, swordfights and the lash on the high seas, you know. There's bad singing too.
