lol Yeah. I don't think Whitney would want to know if she finds out what Connor and Carol have been up to ha. I hope Connor stays for a while. He is some much needed eye candy.
Tension between Carol and Connor reaches boiling point in EastEnders i, prompting Carol to get violent with her ex-lover.
Still unhappy about being kicked out of Carol's flat, Connor is displeased to run into the grieving mum in the café and coldly informs her that he's staying in the area for work purposes rather than to see her.
Later, Carol apologises to Connor for everything that happened between them and asks him to keep his distance, but things soon take a new twist when Carol spots him flirting with Whitney.
In a fresh confrontation, Carol tells Connor that she doesn't want him anywhere near Whitney or anyone else in her family - but he responds by declaring that Whitney is fit.
Furious over Connor's behaviour, Carol gives him a hard slap across the face…

Just as Pat is dialling 999, Janine enters and stops her.
Janine goes over to Pat's to assure her that everything is fine between her and Ryan, but Pat notices she is acting suspiciously. Janine tells her that Ryan has gone away to clear his head and that Stacey is no longer a part of the picture. However, Pat still fears something is up. When Whitney comes by and tells Pat that she hasn't heard from Ryan or anything about a trip, Pat takes her chance and takes Whitney's phone while she isn't looking. Pat then sends a text asking Janine to meet her at The Vic, hoping that she will believe it's from Whitney. With Janine out of the way, Pat barges into the flat, where she finds a very sickly, dead-looking Ryan.
Janine goes over to Pat's to ensure everything is fine between her and Ryan.
Janine soon discovers that Whitney doesn't know anything about the text, and realising something isn't right, she rushes home. Just as Pat is dialling 999, Janine enters and stops her. She tells her that Ryan just has really bad flu and she has been to get medicine for him. Pat wants to know why she lied about Ryan going away and Janine tries to provide an explanation - will Pat believe it?
Phil celebrates Jay's decision to become a Mitchell.
Meanwhile, Phil celebrates Jay's decision to become a Mitchell by giving him a silk boxing robe with the name emblazoned on the back. Over breakfast, Jay makes a point of telling Phil that he's more reliable than Ryan or Connor, but is bitterly disappointed when Phil gives Connor a job right in front of him. Phil reassures him that he gave Connor that job because it was a paper boy errand not worthy of a Mitchell. Jay still has doubts when he meets Billy at The Vic - Billy can sense this and warns him about Phil. Later, Jay goes ahead with the plan to get his name changed and celebrates with Shirley and Phil at the house - but the occasion turns sour when Ian and Jane turn up with an unexpected Ben.

Elsewhere, Carol asks Connor why he is still in the area, prompting him to reply that he's there for work and not her; Stacey is in a terrible mood because she hasn't heard from Ryan; things hot up between Glenda and Phil at The Arches, but Ian ruins the moment by banging on the door demanding to speak to Phil; and a jealous Carol hits Connor across the face when he tells her that Whitney is sweet and fit.
Ben Mitchell's return causes a stir
Airs on Tuesday, December 14 2010 19:30 GMT on BBC One
Shirley barges straight in to the kitchen.
Phil wakes up to find Ben missing so he accosts Ian on the Square, asking where his son is. Ian doesn't know, which worries both men and they blame each other. However, when Ian goes home, he finds Ben sitting on the sofa. Phil storms over to Ian's and ends up yelling at Ben, who sits defiantly and eerily silent throughout. Phil eventually gives up and storms off. Shirley is upset with Phil for not making more of an effort with Ben, so she and Jane take the reins by making a cake with him. Ben confides in Shirley, admitting that his time in juvenile detention was bad, and Shirley counsels him by telling him about 'a friend' of hers who did time in prison.
Phil has a change of heart and wants to talk to his son too. Ben punches him.
Shirley also assures Ben that Phil is only trying to help Jay and not attempting to replace him, but Ben later promises Jay that he will find a way to get him out of the house, making Jay feel uneasy. Shirley takes Ben back to Phil, telling him that Ben wants to talk to him. Phil has had a change of heart and wants to talk to his son too, but Ben says that actions speak louder than words and punches his father. After the initial shock, Phil breaks out into a massive grin and embraces his son in a massive bear hug - welcoming him home.
Meanwhile, Carol is still unhappy over Whitney and Connor. A plan brewing, she tells Peter off for distracting Whitney, saying that she can't stop talking about him. Peter is elated. Carol also warns Bianca about Connor, telling her that he's a thief and could even have owned the gun that was used to shoot Jack. She advises Bianca to start pushing Whitney and Peter together, but when they attempt to set up a lunch date for the pair, the plan backfires as Whitney can tell it's a set-up. Carol eventually pleads with Connor, telling him that Whitney is fragile and vulnerable, and informs him about the abuse she suffered in the past. Carol is confident that Connor will now stay away from Whitney, but it seems that it may be too late.
Elsewhere, Janine continues with her shocking revenge against Ryan, poisoning him under the guise of giving him flu remedy; Billy asks Jay whether he's feeling frozen out following Ben's return; Stacey is disappointed to find that there are still no new messages on her phone; Julie and Billy get passionate in the rear office at the launderette; Phil pays a visit to Glenda and steamrolls her into the bedroom, while Ian has a similar idea and rings Glenda, but his call goes unanswered as she's busy with Phil.
A mystery assailant attacks Glenda
Airs on Thursday, December 16 2010 19:30 GMT on BBC One
Glenda is being rude and drops hints she has had affairs with both Ian and Phil.
Preparations are well under way for Ben's welcome home party. Needing an escape, Phil pays Glenda a visit but things go wrong when she insults Shirley, prompting Phil to storm out. Later, Glenda decides to make an appearance at the party and is drunkenly rude to almost everyone, especially Shirley and Jane. Soon afterwards, Ian argues with Phil for allowing Ben to drink alcohol at the bash, but Glenda hurts Ian by coming to Phil's defence. However, when Glenda blames Jay, Phil gets angry and turns on her. Ian then follows Glenda out to the yard and things start to get steamy between them. However, Ian soon thinks better of the situation and backs off. Glenda says she understands but will leave her door on the latch later. As they go back inside, a bedroom window closes - has someone heard them?
Who pushes Glenda?
Glenda then continues being rude to everyone at the party and things really start to get heated when she drops hints loudly about her affairs with both Ian and Phil. Phil and Shirley ask her to leave, prompting her to fire out even more poisonous insults, even to her daughters. She goes a step too far when she calls Ben 'Phil's party princess', making Phil irate. Glenda refuses to leave but just as she is hitting her stride with the insults, a very drunk Peter is sick on her shoes, causing her to leave. Back at hers, Glenda hears a noise but assumes it's Ian as she's left the door on the latch for him. She looks down the stairs but sees nothing. From behind, an unidentifiable gloved hand shoves her, sending her tumbling down the stairs…
Meanwhile, back from her honeymoon, Ronnie thinks that there is something is fishy about Phil buying a new house and suddenly having money. Ronnie soon confronts Phil, who lies about where the money came from, making her feel like he is letting her in on a secret. Roxy has a present for Ronnie's unborn baby but when Ronnie notices the present is broken, Roxy storms out to get it sorted. Ronnie doesn't care, however, as she is happy with her man and baby. Later, Ronnie and Jack discuss future plans at the party and Jack reveals he has been offered work as a security consultant in Dubai.
Later, at home, a tired Janine pulls out a bag of pills and begins crushing them.
Elsewhere, Kat is desperate for more staff at The Vic, so Janine agrees to work extra hours for double the pay in cash; Whitney dumps Peter; Ben and Abi bond in the playground; Jay comes into the pub to buy some alcopops and gets away with it because of his closeness to Phil; Alfie shares some memories of Nana Moon with Kat; Peter makes Max angry by drunkenly groping Lauren; Roxy confronts Whitney over selling her counterfeit goods; and at the flat, Janine pulls out a bag of pills and begins crushing them.

Ryan starts to become increasingly delirious and Janine cuddles him for safety, enjoying the power it gives her.
Janine starts to stir crushed pills into a cup of tea for Ryan, and as she hands it to him, she insists he should stay in bed and rest. Later, Whitney pays them a visit to check on him and accidentally lets slip that she does not think Ryan deserves Janine. She leaves and Janine is left wondering what Whitney must know about Stacey and Ryan. Ryan starts to become increasingly delirious and Janine cuddles him for safety, enjoying the power it gives her. However, the situation becomes more serious when he accidentally slurs 'I love you, Stacey'. In her anger, she makes Ryan a glass of orange juice and adds the crushed pills, before adding even more. Then she forces Ryan to drink it all.
Ryan accidentally slurs "I love you Stacey". In her anger, Janine crushes more pills.
Seeing the state that Ryan is in, Janine goes to dial 999 but drops the phone and lets herself out of the flat. She heads to The Vic in a dazed manner to cover Ryan's shift and works with a smile painted on her face. At the same time, Stacey insists she wants to spend as much time with Lily as possible as she will not get this time back. Kat tells her that she can't just turn her feelings off, but Stacey says that Ryan has made his choice after dumping her via text. Stacey declares that he will not see Lily again as he is dead to her, but later it seems like she may be having second thoughts as she tries to call him.
Meanwhile, Glenda returns from the hospital and Ronnie looks after her. Glenda begins to speculate that she was targeted rather than it being an accident. Ian later pays Glenda a visit and she is still insistent that someone pushed her down the stairs and suggests it may have been Jane. As Glenda speculates that Jane could know about the two of them and attacked her out of revenge, Ian feels uneasy over her allegations. Later, Phil pays Glenda a visit. Again, Glenda reiterates that someone may know about them and that they may have pushed her down the stairs. Phil is not impressed and finishes with her, leaving Glenda distraught.

Glynis Barber has revealed that she believes her EastEnders character Glenda Mitchell is falling for Albert Square hardman Phil as her current storyline continues.
In recent weeks, fans have seen Glenda enjoy a secret relationship with Phil while also seeing his long-time nemesis Ian Beale.
Speaking on This Morning today, Barber explained why Glenda has found herself entangled with both men.
Asked whether Phil's "alpha male" status is appealing to Glenda, the actress replied: "Exactly - and he's a bad boy. So I think she quite calculatingly decided that he was going to be her man, but she does fall for him along the way.
"And then, of course, he doesn't treat her very well - and the worse he treats her, the more she likes him."
Discussing the benefits of sleeping with Ian, she added: "I think she needs Ian to bolster up her ego, because Phil treats her badly, she loses confidence and then you've got Ian Beale, who's always there, who's always available - he flatters her and he pays her rent!"
Later this week, fans will see a mystery assailant attack Glenda after she becomes rude and insulting at Ben's welcome home party.
It is a pity that Glenda survives her fall

EastEnders star Thomas Law has admitted that he will be surprised if his character Peter Beale is the mystery attacker who targets Glenda Mitchell in a new storyline.
In tonight's episode of the BBC soap, Glenda is pushed down the stairs by an unknown assailant at her flat - shortly after she has insulted many of the Square's residents at a family gathering.
As Glenda (Glynis Barber) has been having an affair with Peter's father Ian, the teenager is among the list of suspects who have reason to do harm to the feisty blonde - and fans will soon see him leave Walford after Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) dramatically accuses him of being the culprit.
However, asked by All About Soap whether Peter really is the perpetrator, Law replied: "He's not strong enough! It's not really in his character, but with all this stuff building up, he just feels backed into a corner and just wants to burst.
"I don't know whether he'd actually have it in him to hurt Glenda so badly, though."
Peter's exit also comes after he is left heartbroken when Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) dumps him.
