Max would have to spill the beans first - Lauren is now a total pain in the **** , went to the US some 3/4month ago as a slim 15 year old. Came about 4/5 years older different build and a total pain. Time for stacey to kill again and I'd cheer her on all the way if it means getting rid of this lauren.

Meanwhile, love is about to blossom for Tamwar in EastEnders when his old flame Afia gets back in touch.

Although the pair want to meet up straight away, Tamwar faces a tricky situation as Afia's call comes just as he is preparing to attend a party with his parents, where Zainab is planning to fix him up with a suitable partner.

After feigning illness to his parents, Tamwar manages to get out of the party plan and brings Afia home for a date in secret. Things get off to an awkward start as Afia is unimpressed by a new look that Tamwar is sporting following some guidance from Jodie - but it's not long until they're passionately kissing.

Just as things seem to be going well, Zainab and Masood return from the party and Tamwar has some explaining to do…

Stacey confesses her guilt to Lauren

EastEndersLauren shouts at her father, accusing him of being used by Stacey. Max calmly assures her that Stacey didn't kill Archie and she should be careful not to ruin an innocent girl's life. Determined to clear Bradley's name, Lauren argues back, but she seems to be placated when Max swears on his daughter's life that Stacey didn't murder Archie. Later, however, Lauren's blood boils when she sees Ryan and Stacey flirting as they make their way to The Vic. As Ryan heads into the pub, Stacey is taken aback when Lauren approaches, asking how can she live with herself having murdered Archie?

After Lauren leaves, a petrified Stacey runs to Max, who orders her to get a grip and says Lauren is playing a guessing game and has no proof. Later, Stacey panics when Lauren enters The Vic and follows her into the toilets. Lauren shouts at Stacey about murdering Archie and for letting Bradley take the blame. Lauren continues to goad Stacey and blames her for Bradley's death. Enveloped in rage, Stacey lunges at Lauren, admitting she did kill Archie…

Meanwhile, Bianca and Carol argue over where to scatter Billie's ashes and realise they have no idea what he would have wanted. Desperate for some guidance, Carol secretly meets with Connor to ask his advice. On hearing that Connor no longer has anywhere to live, Carol brings Connor back to the flat, and fighting her attraction for him, prepares bedding for the sofa.

Elsewhere, Phil is livid with Shirley when he discovers that she has been busy spending their ill-gotten gains; Zainab vows to have Tamwar walking down the aisle in no time after catching him registering on a dating website; Janine is curious when Ryan promises that he will soon be able to satisfy her every need; Phil can't help but smile when Shirley seductively drops her expensive new coat from her shoulders and reveals her naked body underneath; Tamwar tells Darren and Jodie that he is being made to go to a party so that Zainab can fix him up with a suitable partner; and Janine surmises that a dodgy deal is going down between Ryan and Phil when she reads a text on her husband's phone.


Lauren is determined to make Stacey pay

Stacey's confession, Lauren finds Max at the car lot and he is horrified when she declares that she has proof Stacey killed Archie. Max pleads with his daughter not to say anything and Lauren storms out as Stacey arrives. Later, Lauren asks Stacey if she is sleeping with Max again and, if not, why he is protecting her? Desperate for her dark crime to remain secret, Stacey reveals that Archie brutally raped her and explains Bradley would have wanted to take the blame to provide the best possible life for Lily. Stacey says Max is trying to do right by his son by concealing the truth. Shocked, Lauren agrees it must have been terrifying for her before walking away.

Later, Max tentatively agrees to take Stacey and Lily to the clinic for the baby's inoculations, and as he is waiting for her, Lauren returns. Lauren apologises and says that she wants the lying to end and to spend some time with her father. Feeling the pressure of Stacey's imminent arrival, Max tells a forlorn Lauren that he has a meeting with a client. Later, when Max and Stacey return, Lauren is livid she was lied to and is determined that Stacey should get what she deserves.

Meanwhile, Glenda finds Carol folding Connor's duvet and when he emerges topless from the bathroom, Carol tells Glenda that he stayed over as he has nowhere else to go. Both women are suspicious when they discover a bundle of rolled up notes among his belongings and when Carol confronts him, Connor assures her he is looking after it for a friend. Later, Carol hands Connor a pile of leaflets for housing, job centre and benefits. Connor leans in for a kiss and Carol responds with passion. On returning home, Glenda soon susses out what is going on between Carol and her young lover when she hears giggling from the bedroom. Her smile soon turns sour when she realises her flatmate is getting more action than her!

Elsewhere, Shirley uses the stolen money to help out a skint Heather; Janine questions Ryan about the deal that he has with Phil; Jodie and Darren help Tamwar to come up with a new image; Phil and Shirley argue over the money, prompting Phil to throw Shirley's coat out the front door and instruct her to follow it; Ryan receives a bag full of money from Phil and is informed that he'll get the rest once he finishes the job; and when Jodie and Darren promise that Tamwar will soon be receiving lots of attention from girls, Zainab firmly insists that they have to be Muslim girls.


Billy discovers Shirley's secret

At number 27, Shirley is livid when she opens the front door to find her new coat has been nicked. In the evening, Shirley finally comes home from a fruitless search for her treasured coat and angrily tells Phil that she will buy another one and will lend Heather money whatever he says. The next day, Billy spots Julie walking around wearing Shirley's coat and follows her into the café, where he questions her about where she got it from. At another table, Roxy is reading a letter about her failed financial payments when she overhears Billy and Julie's conversation. Roxy realises Billy is accusing Julie of stealing and accuses Julie of stealing her money too. Julie storms out, telling Billy she found the coat on the street. Exasperated, Billy explains it is Shirley's coat but Julie is adamant - finders, keepers!

Later, Roxy tells Phil that she has to sell the house and tells him he should buy it from her, however the suggestion is met with an awkward silence. Roxy then says she suspects Julie of stealing the money as she has a new expensive coat. Incensed, Shirley leaves to get it back and finds Julie in the market with Billy and after threatening her, Julie finally hands the coat over. On her next mission, Shirley gives Heather some money to help her out and reveals where the money came from. Shocked but overwhelmed with excitement, Heather throws a handful of notes into the air. As the two women scramble to gather the money back up, Billy enters, catching them red handed. Can Billy be trusted not to give away their secret?

Meanwhile, at Max's house, Tamwar panics when Afia gets in touch about meeting up. Max says that Jodie and Darren must find a way out of the 'find Tamwar a girlfriend' party. Tam takes Darren's advice and is later found at home feigning illness. Concerned, Zainab lets him stay home, however as soon as his parents leave for the party, Tam nervously waits on George Street for Afia to arrive. Although when she does, she's not impressed with his new look! Afia preferred him the way he was and after replacing his glasses, gives him a lingering kiss. The romance continues back at Tam's but when his parents unexpectedly come home early, the mood changes as Tam scrambles to think of an excuse.

Elsewhere, Stacey texts Max asking him to call her. When Max's phone beeps, Lauren gets there first and reads the text to him. A weary Max tells her it is not what it looks like. Fed up with the trouble she is causing within the family, Vanessa warns Stacey to stay away from Max and Max feels awful when he tells Stacey to clear of him for the time being. Distraught, Stacey heads home.

Note that due to Children In Need, there is no Friday episode of EastEnders this week. The next episode airs on Monday, November 22.

EastEnders star Himesh Patel has hinted that his new romance storyline will feature some surprises for viewers.

In next week's episodes, the actor's alter ego Tamwar Masood is contacted by his former flame Afia Khan (Meryl Fernandes) and the pair quickly rekindle their relationship.

Speaking to Inside Soap about the plotline, Patel commented: "I'm glad that I'm able to explore another side to Tamwar's character. The best thing about him is that he's so layered. You peel away one layer and see something else underneath.

"I think the audience is going to be surprised by what they see next. Who knows, there could even be a wild side in there."

Afia first appeared on screen in the soap's New Year episodes, when she kissed Tamwar at Syed's (Marc Elliott) wedding.

Patel recently revealed that Tamwar will have to face "a very big obstacle" as the storyline progresses.

EastEnders star Lacey Turner has explained why her character Stacey Slater confesses her darkest secret to Lauren Branning in an upcoming storyline.

Next week's episodes see Stacey come clean to Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) about Archie Mitchell's murder after the troubled teen accuses her of being responsible for the crime.

As Stacey confirms Lauren's suspicions and explains her motive, the student shows some sympathy for what the new mum went through with Archie - but viewers are still left to wonder whether she will keep the shocking secret to herself.

Speaking to Soaplife about the accusation scene, Turner commented: "Stacey's stunned. It comes out of the blue and she freezes with fear. At first she denies it, but Lauren goads her until it's too much and Stacey blurts out the truth.

"In a strange way there's also this sense of relief as Stacey's struggled to live with the guilt of what she did."

The actress added that Stacey seeks support from Lauren's father Max in the aftermath of her confession, explaining: "Max has been there for her since Bradley died. He tells her he'll sort it with Lauren and she trusts him."

However, with Max still struggling to keep Lauren's behaviour under control, whether he will be able to stop her from revealing all remains to be seen.
