Home and Away star Axle Whitehead has revealed that his character Liam Murphy will leave Bianca Scott stunned by going public with a surprise new romance.
In scenes soon to air in the UK, viewers will see Liam leave Summer Bay after spotting Bianca (Lisa Gormley) kissing her ex-boyfriend Vittorio.
However, Liam's departure is not permanent and his comeback episodes will be screened in Australia next week as he returns to the Bay with new lover Nina in tow.
Speaking to TV Week about his alter ego's new partner, Whitehead explained: "When Liam returns to Summer Bay, he introduces her to everyone - including Bianca."
He continued: "Liam puts on a tough-guy act and pretends everything is cool and that he's moved on - but I don't know if that's really the truth."
Meanwhile, Liam's reappearance prompts Bianca to make a big decision over the future of her relationship with Vittorio as she agrees to marry him.
Discussing the possibility of a reunion for Liam and Bianca, Whitehead added: "Bianca is marrying someone else and Liam has a new girlfriend, so this could spell the end for any future they might've had."
