I have read that prices are £55, £65, £75 or £85, dependent upon their status, tickets are limited to 8 per person per city, booking fees apply unless you pay in cash. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, 29th October 2010. Not sure whether the prices are accurate though.

Take That fans are being warned not to become victims of online fraud in the rush to snap up tickets for the group's forthcoming tour. The band, newly reunited with fifth member Robbie Williams, only announced details of the long-awaited tour on Tuesday but officers from the Met's Economic and Specialist Crime Command have already found several bogus websites claiming to be offering tickets.

Typical scams see fans pay for tickets which never arrive or hand over personal details which can be used in identity theft.

Detective Inspector Sean Crotty said: "There are huge numbers of Take That fans who will be desperate to get hold of tickets for these concerts. However, buying tickets from unofficial websites or agencies could result in them losing money, having their credit cards details compromised and ultimately losing out on the opportunity to see the band."

Take That promised a "feast for the imagination" with their first tour as a complete group in 16 years.

The summer stadium tour around the UK includes four nights at Wembley Stadium after it kicks off next May.

Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald confirmed the tour, Progress Live 2011, at a press conference in London.

The last time the five-piece performed together was in 1995.

This 14-date UK tour will end with six dates in Europe and feature Take That's biggest hits from the last two decades.

The tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday and the official ticket agencies can be found at: www.gigsandtours.com/gat/ticketagencies.html.

Ticket websites have crashed as fans rush to buy tickets to see Take That and Robbie Williams perform together for the first time in 16 years.

Tickets for the reformed group's UK stadium dates went on sale at 0900 BST.

But sites including Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Ticketline and The Ticket Factory all buckled under the strain.

Police have warned fans not to buy from unofficial agencies, whom they said may not fulfil orders and may use personal details in identity theft.

Hundreds of fans have also been queuing at venue box offices and trying to get through to phone hotlines.

A Take That spokesperson urged fans to keep trying.

"Due to totally unprecedented demand this morning, all ticket agents have struggled to cope with the number of people logging on to try and buy Take That tickets," a statement said.

"The technology available has not been able to keep up with demand. However all ticket agents are confident they will be able to process all enquiries so are asking fans to keep trying."

The group have announced initial dates in Sunderland, Manchester, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham and London in May, June and July. They will also take the show across Europe.

The Ticket Factory website returned an error message saying there were "too many concurrent users", while Ticketmaster.co.uk said: "Service Unavailable."

Meanwhile, hundreds of tickets appeared on eBay and other secondary websites at inflated prices.

Fans took to Twitter to vent their anger at the difficulties getting onto official ticket sites.

"Why do sites not prepare for mornings like this?" wrote Ailbhe Maher. "So annoying! Still no tickets. How long do you keep trying?"

Another fan, Ellen Hawksworth, wrote: "Two computers, a phone and still no luck.

"Annoys me that people are selling them on eBay when people who want to go can't get them."

All tickets for Take That's Progress reunion tour of the UK and Ireland have now sold out, according to the agencies charged with their official sale.

Notices on the websites for Ticketmaster, Gigsandtours, Ticketline and the Ticketfactory all state they have no more tickets.

Calls to their hotline numbers also confirm this.

Most say they ran out on Saturday morning, despite an extra 10 dates being added due to huge demand.

The tickets went on sale at 0900 BST on Friday 29 October.

Official figures for the number of tickets sold in total and how long they took to go are yet to be confirmed. The group's promoters told BBC News on Sunday they did not know the full details yet, but the number sold on Friday alone was a UK record.

They were also unable to say if more UK dates would be added.

Tickets for the group's European gigs will go on sale on 5 November.

On Friday, many fans spent hours trying to access ticket websites and phone lines, which buckled under "unprecedented" demand. Take That's concert promoter had to apologise for the technical problems that prevented fans from buying tickets for one the most hotly anticipated reunions in pop history.

SJM Concerts managing director Simon Moran said a record one million tickets were sold in one day. "We coped with it in the best way possible," he said.

Ticket agency Ticketmaster also said sorry for the "frustrating delays".

Robbie Williams will rejoin his bandmates on the road for the first time in 16 years when they play at least 25 stadium shows.

The band said on Friday they were "speechless" and "truly and utterly shocked" at the speed of the sales.

More fans will watch the Progress Live tour than any other tour in UK and Irish history - beating the group's previous record set in 2009.

Mr Moran, who is responsible for staging the shows, told BBC News that the technical problems were "unfortunate".

"But it's due to the absolutely unprecedented and never-before-seen demand for these tickets to watch Take That," he said.

Although the official ticket agencies regularly updated their ticketing systems, they "didn't work today", he admitted.

Some fans found queuing at the venues to be a more reliable way to get their hands on tickets "We did our best to ensure we used all of the major ticketing platforms," he said. "They're the market leaders. It's unfortunate but we have sold 950,000 tickets so people have bought them over the course of time."

The website for Ticketmaster, one of the ticket agencies selected, received 20 million page views on Friday.

That was "far in excess" of the number seen when tickets for Michael Jackson's planned comeback concerts at the O2 arena in London went on sale last spring, the company said.

Thousands of people also queued at venue box offices, while BT said the national phone network received between three and four times the normal number of calls on Friday morning.

'Very unfair'

Meanwhile, hundreds of tickets are for sale on eBay and other secondary websites at inflated prices.

Police have warned fans not to buy from unofficial agencies, which they said may not fulfil orders and may use personal details in identity theft.

Fans have written to the BBC to express their anger at the difficulties - and their disappointment at not having been able to secure any tickets at all.

"I spent an extremely frustrating and very disappointing eight hours in total trying to purchase Take That tickets by both telephone and on the internet all of which was to no avail, as all the major ticket sellers web sites constantly kept crashing and the phone lines were continuously engaged despite pressing the redial button repeatedly," said Sarah Williamson, West Yorkshire.

"I am most disheartened by the whole experience and found the whole process very unfair especially when the people who were actually able to purchase a ticket could potentially buy a maximum of eight tickets in total hence why you can now see tickets on e-bay being sold for hundreds of pounds. Not fair at all."

Sharon Singleton, from Lancashire, also wrote in: "Unfortunately I am one of the unlucky ones, did not manage to get tickets after trying for over 7 hours on internet and telephone, at one point nearly thought possible got as far as viewing the tickets I wanted and confirm the booking of 3 tickets only for the site to crash again. My son is very disappointed."

Take That have added a further four dates to their sell-out tour in an effort to keep up with demand.

The group smashed records when 1.34 million tickets were snapped up in less than 24 hours, although many fans were still left empty-handed.

Now the band have added further shows in Sunderland, Manchester and London.

However they have had to move one of their earlier show dates to accommodate their eight-night run at Wembley Stadium and promoters have apologised for the switch from July 3 to June 30.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale at 10am on Friday.

In a statement, the band said: "We are really sorry to have to move the dates in London but we'd heard that there was a lot of disappointment from those not being able get tickets and this was the only way that we could fit in another show."

The extra date at Wembley will make them the only act to have ever played such a lengthy run at the venue.

I had tickets for 3 July and it's a real pain that the date has now changed to 30 June as it means we will have to take time off from work. There's no way that I'm not going to go though.

Gary Barlow has hinted that Robbie Williams' reunion with Take That might only be temporary. The band reformed in July last year as a five-piece, releasing an album and a sell-out tour. But Gary suggested to Chris Evans yesterday that the situation might not be a permanent one. "I think even moving forward, I know we're back with Rob right now, but we still see our future as a four-piece band," he said. "We see Take That as a four-piece band in general."
