Michael Jackson is being lined up for a sensational comeback at next month's Live 8 gig.
The King Of Pop has been tentatively invited to appear at the Philadelphia or London gig by organisers, after he was acquitted of child abuse allegations on Monday.
Live 8 promoter Harvey Goldsmith says he would consider adding him to the line-up for the July 2 event - but questioned whether he was ready to perform yet.
Jacko walked clear from court in Santa Maria looking frail, but he is still believed to want to relaunch his career as soon as possible.
Interviewed on radio station Capital FM, Goldsmith said: "Obviously we'd consider it."
He added: "Whether it's appropriate or not is another issue, whether he's in a fit state to work is another issue, whether he can work is another issue and whether he can work live is another issue."
Jacko's close friend Stevie Wonder, who was listed as a potential character witness, is on the bill.
The gig is being hosted by Will Smith and the line-up includes 50 Cent, P Diddy, Bon Jovi and the British band Kaiser Chiefs.
Jackson co-wrote the 1985 song We Are The World, the US answer to Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas?
he better ruddy not, if he does the whole point of live 8 will be totally undermined, the make poverty history will be forgotton while everyone focuses on him and not the cause, and he may be still be guilty of the charges, just because it is not prove "beyond reasonable doubt" doesnt mean there is not some truth in it
