Leadership of the House is weighing heavily on Science's shoulders today as he sat glumly considering recent attacks on his authority. Why is everyone giving him grief?
Left on his own he looked despondent, lost in his own thoughts, until Derek joined him.
"You look really down," Derek observed. "Science, don't let it get to you."
Derek also said that the House was messier than it ever had been.
"I don't care," said a downcast Science. "I ain't lifting a finger."
Derek insisted he should be rallying the troops and giving everyone things to do, but Science was too down to respond. "What's the point in trying?" he said.
Science thought the root of the pirate task problem was that people wanted to be captain. "People ain't got the spirit to see the task through."
"Nothing really matters, that's what you've got to remember," advised Derek, who then burst into song, singing the end of Bohemian Rhapsody painfully off key.
Science's quiet reflection led him to conclude, "People aren't happy with themselves. I usually glow like the sunshine. I try to give insight but people want to fight me down."
Looks like Science has found the source of the problem: other people. But will he be able to raise his spirits sufficiently to lead his crew through the task?
