The writers are picking unusual pairings for Billy of late. For starters Carol has got 4 grown up children and now there's Jean! what the hell are they playing at. Its a bit of a step from Little Mo and Honey isnt it. Plus Billy is now kissing Little Mo's aunt?! randomness gone mad. I know Jean is a bit simple like Little Mo but still... lol.

Oh I also wanted to mention Billy and Alfie's little heart to heart, that's nice because we havent seen anything from them yet apart from the 'police scene lol' but they didnt talk. Was good stuff with the whole Alife/Billy/Little Mo thing.
Also Janine, Stacey, Pat heart to heart that should be a good one as well! :)

Both Carol and Jean are more suitable for Billy then Honey or Little Mo were. The latter two were what often happens in TV - men being paired up with women who are younger/out of their league.

How old is Billy? In his 40's? Little Mo and Honey in thier mid 30's probably, maybe older.
Perry Fenwick is nearly 50, so I'm guessing Billy Mitchell is about the same age.

Billy and Little Mo suited each other as a couple though. Billy didn't look too old for her. It felt weird seeing Billy and Carol together.
Coming up in EastEnders, Ryan will soon be left holding the baby when Stacey finds herself locked up by the police.
Following a dramatic brawl at R&R, Stacey spends a night in the cells with Janine, Kat, Kim and Pat - and can't stop worrying about being apart from Lily.
When Pat informs Stacey that Ryan is looking after the youngster, rather than Charlie as she first thought, she's even more concerned. Janine is also unhappy - fearing that Ryan could bond with his daughter.
Back at home, a clueless Ryan panics as Lily won't stop screaming - and eventually calls in Whitney for help. However, when Ryan refuses to change Lily as he's too scared, Whitney decides that it's time for him to face up to his responsibilities and leaves.
Forced to take care of Lily on his own, will Ryan bond with her - making Janine's worst nightmare come true?

A brawl breaks out at R&R
Airs on Monday, October 18 2010 20:00 BST on BBC One
It's a busy night at R&R as Kat, Kim, Stacey and Jean are having a girls' night out at the venue, while Ryan, Janine and Carol are also in attendance. When Billy pays a visit to the club, he joins Carol and the pair have a few drinks together. They talk about their pitiful lives, and all of a sudden, Billy leans in and kisses Carol. She is surprised and pulls back, but Billy tries again. Carol leaves before Billy goes on to upset Jean with his rude behaviour. Stacey steps in to help Jean, but Janine stands up for Billy, leading to the two girls arguing before Christian steps in to stop the row escalating.
Soon afterwards, Bianca arrives fuming and looking for Billy because of his behaviour towards Carol. Stacey cannot stand Billy's arrogant behaviour any longer so punches him in the face. Janine steps forward to help Billy and a fight breaks out. Billy is in the middle of the crowd but in his own world of pain, pushing someone away, who was bumping into him. When a hand grabs him from behind, he turns around and throws a punch, but he's stunned when he realises it's a police officer…
Meanwhile, having called Christian into work at R&R, Roxy is disappointed that Syed has come along with him. Wanting to have fun with her playmate, Roxy tries to get Christian to stay at the club with her. She gets him and Syed a drink, but purposely puts some vodka into Syed's glass. Syed immediately realises and Christian is shocked that Roxy would do something like that. Angry, Christian tells her that she needs to get used to him being with Syed.
Elsewhere, Alfie tries to fit a TV in the drinking den, but it crashes to the floor and all his customers leave; having left the club early, Ryan ends up having to look after baby Lily and face up to his responsibilities as a father; Kim enjoys her night at R&R and kisses a handsome man in a corner of the club; and Ricky upsets Carol by revealing that Whitney has moved on from Billie.
Stacey lets one of her secrets slip
Airs on Tuesday, October 19 2010 19:30 BST on BBC One
After the brawl in R&R, Stacey, Kat, Kim and Pat find themselves in a police cell. Janine begs the sergeant for a cell to herself, but she is refused. Stacey starts to fret about Lily being left at home with Charlie, but her concerns grow when Pat reveals that Lily is actually with Ryan. This prompts Janine to worry for different reasons. Pat tries to calm them both down, but Janine is secretly scared that Ryan could bond with Lily. Stacey demands that the sergeant calls Ryan as Janine grudgingly gives them her phone number. The atmosphere is tense, but Kim decides to liven things up by playing a game. They soon realise that Stacey and Janine have actually got quite a lot in common, which leads to new frictions between the two.
When Janine mentions that Stacey has a baby with her husband, Stacey lets slip out that Janine was engaged to Archie, who was "a dirty old rapist". When Stacey realises what she has said, she tries to convince them it's not true, but eventually she confesses that Archie raped her. Although Janine says that she does not believe it, it is clear from her resigned demeanour that she knows it's true. Stacey is worried that the others will soon work out the truth about Archie's death, but everyone seems lost in their own thoughts. When they are all released the next morning, Stacey urges everyone never to mention the incident with Archie again.
Meanwhile, Ryan's time with Lily proves a stressful experience as she won't stop screaming. He panics and starts freaking out - and when the phone rings, he jumps up and almost drops Lily. After calling Whitney and begging for her help, Ryan is stunned by how brilliant she is with the baby. When Ryan refuses to change Lily because he is too scared, Whitney leaves and forces Ryan to embrace his parental duties. When Janine and Stacey arrive back from the police station, they find Ryan and Lily sleeping on the sofa, cheek by cheek. Ryan opens his eyes and announces that he wants to be a father for Lily. Janine and Stacey's worlds are blown apart…
Elsewhere, Alfie and Billy bond at the police station as they open up over their problems.
Carol brands Jim a racist
Airs on Thursday, October 21 2010 19:30 BST on BBC One
Bianca pours a bottle of wine down the sink so that Carol can't drink it as she is concerned with the way her mother has been acting lately. Max turns up with the news that the undertaker phoned him, as despite them leaving three messages for Carol, she had not responded. On edge, Carol decides to sort through Billie's possessions. As she finds one of his most cherished items, his favourite white hoodie, she puts it to one side. Later on, Morgan accidentally sprays ketchup on the hoodie. Liam panics and takes it off Morgan, managing to get it upstairs without Carol seeing it. Later, Liam goes back to the kitchen to try to wash it clean. On hearing the sound of the taps running, Carol wanders into the kitchen and is horrified as she catches sight of the hoodie. She slaps Liam across the forehead, catching her ring on his head and making him bleed, prompting Liam to run away fighting tears.
Dot turns up at the Brannings' and offers comfort to Carol. However, as Dot asks which readings Carol has chosen, Carol admits she has not thought about it. Carol then decides to stay and, in her grief, she verbally attacks Jim for not having a photo of Billie on the sideboard, as there are photos of everyone else in the family. Jim is mortified as Carol accuses him of being racist. As Dot returns with the tea tray, she finds Carol standing over Jim, continuing to imply that the two of them are racist, so Dot tells Carol to leave.
Meanwhile, Stacey tells Alfie that Phil had phoned sounding aggravated. Kat shoots a worried look at Alfie and asks him whether he has sorted the rent, and he lies, telling her that he has it covered. Alfie has the idea of holding a race night, but with many unsold tickets, he later decides to cancel it. This is bad news for Roxy, who had hoped to attend. Later, Roxy turns up at Alfie's poker game, much to Jack's annoyance. As the game progresses, everyone is out apart from Alfie and Roxy. Both put in all of their money - and it's Roxy who shows the winning hand and takes the cash.
Elsewhere, tension builds between Janine and Ryan as Ryan insists that he meant what he said and will be a part of Lily's life.

Liam, with his red gash covered by a baseball cap, gets an apology from Carol for hitting him. Carol decides she wants to cook dinner for the family so that she can see them all before Billie's funeral. However, inviting Dot and Jim backfires, as Jim does not want to see her. Meanwhile, Max - who is being hassled by the undertakers as Carol is not making any decisions for the funeral - phones Carol to tell her that Lauren will also not be attending the meal, prompting Carol to call the whole thing off. Much to Carol's surprise and thanks to Bianca's powers of persuasion, Max and Jack later turn up with Lauren, closely followed by Dot.
However, the good family atmosphere does not last long. With Dot about to say grace, Liam's hat is still on. When both Bianca and Ricky tell him to take it off, Carol orders him not to, causing him to shift uncomfortably until Bianca dives in and whips the hat off. As everyone sees the gash, Carol, much to Ricky and Bianca's anger, admits that she hit Liam. Carol has an outburst, starting to blame everyone for Billie's death and again accuses Jim of being racist. She then bans the family from attending the funeral.
Meanwhile, after all attempts to avoid Phil, Alfie has to face him, telling him that he has the money for the rent and will deliver it that afternoon. Alfie raids the caravan and finds some gold jewellery. He manages to sell some gold earrings to Billy and then heads off to the bookies, where he bumps into Roxy. After losing money, Alfie heads off to Phil's, ready for a beating. However, he is confused to find Phil thankful and offering him a drink. Roxy then appears, saying she has paid his next two months' rent as she realised how much he had lost the previous night. She then tells Alfie that he does not need to worry about paying her back.
Elsewhere, Billy is pleased when Julie approaches his stall and spends the day helping him sell vegetables; Pat, Ricky and Bianca discuss Jack's decision to go to court on his own; Billy goes round to apologise to Carol but it is clear that she is still grieving and blaming herself for Billie's death; and Jack reveals that Kylie pleaded guilty for her part in his shooting.
