Joe McElderry's eagerly-awaited second single has been posted online and is streaming in full below.

The reigning X Factor champion will release 'Ambitions' digitally on October 10, followed by a full physical release the following day.

"I'm so excited that my single is finally here and ready to go," McElderry said in a press release. "'Ambitions' is a song that reflects me and is different to what I think people might expect. I can't wait to begin performing it."

'Ambitions' is taken from McElderry's debut album, Wide Awake, which is scheduled for release on October 25.

The tracklisting for Joe McElderry's debut album has been published online.

Amazon confirmed the 11 tracks which will be included on The X Factor winner's LP Wake Up.

Among the listed songs are McElderry's winners single, a cover of Miley Cyrus's 'The Climb', and his new single 'Ambitions'.

Other tracks include covers of Nerina Pallot's 'Real Late Starter', Five For Fighting's 'Superman (It's Not Easy)' and Uncle Kracker's 'Smile'.

Songs titled 'Someone Wake Me Up', 'Until The Stars Run Out', 'Feel The Fire', 'Fahrenheit' and 'Love Is War' are also listed, along with the LP's title track 'Wake Up'.

Thirty-second previews of the songs that will feature on the album - which will be released on October 25 - have since been removed by the online store.

McElderry will return to The X Factor to perform 'Ambitions' this weekend.

I watched him perform this on X Factor. I didn't think it was very good. I didn't think it suited him singing in a high voice. I prefer his debut single - The Climb.
