Depite tonight's ructions in the House, the pirates still have tasks to complete, and have composed their very own sea shanty in honour of courageous Captain Science.
The seaworthy bunch were given half an hour to come up with the ditty entitled Life As A Pirate, and had to include the words 'blimey', 'swashbuckle' and 'salty seamen'.
All the unease in the House might have led to their first performance being a little bumpy, with the dishevelled bunch of pirates sounding like they'd had one too many yo-ho-hos and bottles of rum.
Sailing ahead of their backing music by far too many knots, it was only just possible to make out the words: "We like to have a laugh and chuckle. Everybody say 'Arrgh, swashbuckle!'"
But Captain Science seemed thrilled with his tribute, peppering the performance with approving "Arrghs!"
The seamen will have to deliver a rousing rendition of this nautical masterpiece everyday as soon as the sun breaks over the ocean waves in order to pass the task.
So they should all be pretty seasick of it by the end.
