A celebrity series of Channel 4's Coach Trip is to be shown in January, according to reports.

The regular version of the show sees a heady mix of seven couples being taken around top European destinations on a bus. At each stop the gaggle of "coachies" are set fun tasks based on local traditions. At the end of the day the trippers must vote off one of the couples off the tour - and the winner is whichever couple stays on the bus the longest.

Two million viewers tune in to watch the daily goings-on of Coach Trip.

A spokesman said: "Fans have been crying out for a celebrity version of Coach Trip since the show started back in 2004, now they have got their wish."
